Regional languages in the French educational system

Beginning section of this thesis named Regional languages in the French education system is focused on a terminology concerning regional languages. Further content is focused on the history of languages in France since the Roman campaign on Gaul territory and the latinization of this region until the democratization of regional languages towards regular French. An important role in French education system development was played by education laws that are thoroughtly discussed in text of this thesis. The current distribution of regional languages in France and teaching of these languages in French schools is described in the next part of the thesis. This part is primarily focused on the four regional languages: Basque, Breton, Catalan and Occitan. Laws that permited the education of regional languages in France and faciliated the foundation of institutions intended to support these regional languages are also covered within this section. The research of today's state of Occitan in everyday life of Nîmes residents is covered in final part of this thesis. Occitan was chosen as the representative model of regional language. Activities of Agrofert holding covered by Mladá fronta Dnes and Lidové noviny before and after their takeover by Andrej Babiš

Exploration of the influences that an owner can have on his own media is an important topic nowadays. This master thesis focuses on the possible owner influences on his newspaper in the example of buying of the publishing house Mafra by Agrofert's owner Andrej Babis. It covers articles concerning Agrofert in two of Mafra's dailies - Mlada fronta Dnes and Lidove noviny. The reporting period covers two years before and two years after the purchase of Mafra by the owner of Agrofert and the current Czech Minister of Finance Andrej Babis. This covers the dates 5. 6. 2011 - 24. 6. 2013 and 25. 6. 2013 - 24. 6. 2015. This thesis uses the processes of quantitative content analysis and focuses on the comparison of texts about Agrofert in these two periods. In the sample of 631 articles it examines two dozen categories, such as topic, placement on the page as well as in the daily itself or quotation of Andrej Babis, and it tracks the changes that occurred in both halves of the reporting period. The shift in content of the Mafra's media, after the change of its owner has not been largely examined yet. This means that this thesis brings a first complex insight into the topic. Customer realationship management and nets of independent applications

The objective of this thesis is to study the concept of software confederations (networks of independent applications, NIA) orientated on its utilization in the field of customer relationship management (CRM) and the enterprise information systems. The opening chapters of the thesis specify the meaning of CRM, present the evolvement of CRM systems and clarify their internal structure and provided features. The insight into the CRM subject terminates with extensive survey of CRM systems which are being sold within the Czech Republic. The following chapters explain the conception of NIA and evaluate advantages and disadvantages of contemporary technologies for building NIA. The equivalence between NIA and SOA-based solutions is recognized. The final chapters discuss the speciffic limitations and possible benefitss of NIA in the CRM fields.

Portal - Access Integration

This diploma thesis concerns enterprise portals and its objective is to map their functional support, which they can bring to the company. Especially to the access integrationarea. To achieve this goal the following proces was selected: The first step was to create theoretical background which describes the area of enterprise portals and how it can be seen. In the following part were set main functional areas whose coverage may be assured by the enterprise portal. These areas are : presentation, personalization and customization, security, administration, content management system, search, collaboration, accessibility and portlets. Another part is focused on the selection of specific portal solutions which are evaluated and compared at the conclusion. These are chosen products : IBM WebSphere Portal, Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2007, Oracle Portal 10g, BEA WebLogic Portal. Personal benefit is particularly comprehensive look into the issue of enterprise portals. Theoretical background makes possible to quickly obtain information which are presented in a logically organizace form. It will ensure continuity in the knowledge absorption. Practical part offers look into the enterprise portal market situation and shows what can offer specific product and at what level.

Cartesian Genetic Programming in Evolutionary Art

This thesis deals with use of Cartesian Genetic Programming (CGP) in Evolutionary Art (EvoArt). Text presents introduction to the topic. The rest of the thesis focuses on the process of design, implementation and testing of new method of application CGP in EvoArt. The proposed method uses CGP to create 2D vector images. Web application for EvoArt creation is made to demonstrate this method. Achieved results are presented and evaluated.

Optimizing the distribution of participants in summer camps

The aim of the thesis is the mathematical model, which is capable to divide participants of large summer camps into groups, according to specific limitations. The first part describes the economics model and all valid conditions. The second part is devoted to theoretical description. There are mentioned the basics of mathematical programming and the basic of working with Excel and VBA. The thesis describes only actually used methods. The following third part shows the final form of the model. So the reader doesn´t have to go through the whole process, described in the fourth part. There is a model testing in the fourth part, especially with the help of the Excel Solver. The problems are sold immediately. That is the reason why the fifth part can be used for implementation of working environment, which allows the end user to run the model without any significant knowledge of the issue. The app uses the wide possibilities of VBA. The sixth part briefly describes other add-ins, that are able to solve mathematical problem. The conclusion summarizes all the previous parts and offeres solution, that would be used in real application of the thesis.

This thesis is focused on sentiment analysis of unstructured text and its practical application on the real data downloaded from website Yelp.com The objectives of the theoretical part of this thesis is to sum up the information related to history, methods and possible applications of sentiment analysis. A reader is acquainted with important terms and processes of sentiment analysis. Theoretical part is focused on Naive Bayes classifier, that will be used in practical part of this thesis. In practical part there is detailed description of data set, construction and testing of model. At the end there are presented pros and cons of the chosen model and described some possibilities of its usage.

Loans in accounting of commercial banks

This thesis deals with reporting of loans by commercial banks in accordance with rules imposed by the International Financial Reporting Standards. In the interest of better understanding of the issues by the reader, more complex calculations and accounting procedures are accompanied by practical examples. The thesis also includes research of the financial statements of some Czech banks, which aims to show the application of accounting procedures specified in the theoretical part.

Goodwill in mergers

The diploma thesis is focused on goodwill, which can occur during mergers of companies in the Czech Republic. The beginning of the theoretical part is devoted to the definition of the term goodwill, summary of the history of that accounting item and explanation of the types of business transformations. It is followed by comprehensive description of recognition and reporting of goodwill and valuation difference on acquired assets in accounting during domestic mergers. The thesis is supplemented by references to specific statutory regulations relating to the manner and timing of the recognition of these items. The whole thesis is focused exclusively on mergers in the Czech Republic. The application part contains information about research and analysis of selected domestic mergers realized in years 2012 and 2013. The most important conclusion of the analysis is that goodwill occurs very rarely during mergers in the Czech Republic.

VAT fraud elimination

This dissertation is about problems of tax evasion on VAT. The aim is to confirm hypothesis that subjects which are committing fraud on VAT have many of the identical characteristics. Another goal is to determine this identical characteristics.
The theoretical part of this dissertation contains introduction into VAT problematic with emphasis on carousel fraud, where are presented individual parts of carousel chain and approaches which administrators of tax are using.
In Analytical part of dissertation, which form a basis of this work, are analysed data from 50 real tax control. This data are analysed and searched for identical characteristics of VAT fraud. By using regression analysis is searched bond strength of this characteristics to amount of assessed tax.
In conclusion are evaluated results from analytical part of this dissertation.
