Pitrová, Veronika ; Osvaldová, Barbora (referee) ; Moravec, Václav (advisor)
In bachelor thesis the author dealt with the clause of conscience and the clause of repurchase, two specific tools which serve to protect the moral interests of French journalists. In her thesis, she offered the philosophical background while analyzing the text of French Labor law. Concerning the clauses, she showed the historical context, as well as the current application. Thanks to the interviews with French journalists, she could describe the advantages and disadvantages of the clauses as well as the owner"s attitude towards the clauses. Moreover she provided the personal motivations of journalists who had used one of the clauses. And to demonstrate how those tools are used in the practice, the author described two well-known cases of using the clause of conscience and the clause of repurchase.

Particle systems
Růžička, Martin ; Kmoch, Petr (referee) ; Pelikán, Josef (advisor)
The presented work deals with the issue of particles. It aims to offer a system for particle creation, simulation and visualization. The introductory part of the paper is devoted to design a physical model. The physical model particularly stresses a fast and at the same time plausible approximation of physical laws. Afterwards, it deals with methods of describing the particle behavior. In order to achieve the highest possible flexibility, a scripting interface is used. The conclusion then describes the visualization of the final particles itself. It is realized using the designed extension of the OpenGL graphic library. The results of the work can be seen in an enclosed application which demonstrates the possibilities of the designed particle systems.

With this work the reader will be able to develop a comprehensive idea of using this tool, its strengths and weaknesses, learn about the process of working with GWT and its individual parts and give a comparison with technologies of competing producers. The first part introduces the reader to GWT in general, the second part offers insight into the development process of web applications using this tool and the third part demonstrates a preview of practical application. Finally, the work evaluates the Google Web Toolkit as a whole.

Alteration: diminutives and augmentatives in contemporary Italian
Neuwirth, František ; Štichauer, Pavel (advisor) ; Špaček, Jiří (referee)
The aim of this paper is to offer a complete picture of alteration in Italian, of the suffixes used, their meaning, and the frequency of their use. Apart of the necessary technical literature, we have employed the following work tools: electronic dictionaries (Lo Zingarelli 2007, Sabatini Coletti 2006, Il Vocabolario degli Accademici della Crusca), corpora (CORlS, La Repubblica) and text databases (Letteratura italiana Zanichelli 4.0, Factiva). We have also made use of examples manually excerpted from literary texts. The paper is structured into two basic parts. The first part (chapters I to V) is rather theory-focused and its aim is to present the actual knowledge on alteration in Italian. In chapter I we describe basic proprieties of alteration and demonstrate them on examples. In chapters II and III we study the semantics of alteration, first in general, then with regard to the single alterative suffixes. We draw up a very complete list of alterative suffixes and provide their characteristics, we attempt to systemize the suffixes according to their meaning, and we investigate historical background of some suffixes. Chapter IV deals with suffix accumulation and with interfixes. In chapter V we investigate pragmatic meanings of alterative suffixes and also those of interfixes. The second part of the paper...

Using XML technologies to apply design patterns
Hála, Vojtěch ; Bednárek, David (advisor) ; Mlýnková, Irena (referee)
Although contemporary programming style involves massive use of design patterns, programming languages does not offer suitable means tu support their application. Aim of this work is to show in practice that modern XML technologies, namely XSL Transformations, allow developers to avoid some routine tasks required by the objective language itself. This reduces the probability of errors, allows developers to focus on the key parts of the design, and makes maintaining the code markedly easier. These benefits come to light especially in large projects with hundreds to thousands of classes with complicated relations. In this Thesis we demonstrate these ideas on an example of a C++ compiler project.

Use of air cargo transport by a chosen company
Pokorná, Iveta ; Novák, Radek (advisor) ; Horáková, Jana (referee)
The thesis deals with air cargo transport and its use by a chosen company. The theoretical part gives detailed information on air cargo transport and its providers. The practical part focuses on the use of air cargo transport by a specific company. It describes a system for orders processing and dispatching. The system is demonstrated on an example of a consignment transported by air to Bolivia. The possible improvements of the system are suggested. The practical part also analyses the transport of all consignments within the specific period. The data are used for introducing the company to several transport companies aiming to enter cooperation. The offers received from the transport companies are compared and evaluated.

Moving information system in the cloud.
Dušek, Martin ; Šebesta, Michal (advisor) ; Osif, Michal (referee)
This thesis deals with the theme Moving information system in the cloud. The paper first describes the issue theoretically. It is defined and characterized by cloud computing as the current major trend in the implementation of information technology. A description of individual actors and models emerging in cloud computing, its brief history, related technology underlying or expand cloud computing, client issues and reference architecture model. It also includes an analysis of the current state offered cloud services, compared to open source and proprietary solutions, and was implemented insight into the upcoming National Strategy for Cloud Computing The case study move e-mail system to a hosted private cloud is demonstrated by the complexity of the entire process and the rugged environment of government institutions. On the basis of theoretical knowledge and case studies in the last chapter proposes a model that would in general help in deciding whether the institutions of government information systems migrate to cloud computing, which is also in line with the forthcoming national strategy.
