TTT method for the comparison of randomized heuristics
Novotná, Petra ; Pelikán, Jan (advisor) ; Fábry, Jan (referee)
There are many heuristics proposed for practical uses of the postman problem, which reach only approximate solutions, however in real time. Regarding the number of solutions of the postman problem, the efficiency of the heuristic is important to the solver, and that is the reason why the goal of this thesis is to compare the efficiency of different algorithms. In the first part of the thesis, the theory for understanding the comparison is described, which is further used for comparing the efficiency of five modifications of randomized heuristics solving delivery problems using the postman problem with capacities. Variants of solutions are launched on several differently complicated problems with optional edges and with multiple vehicles departing from a single depot. The results are shown in plots. A probability of the ability of one modification to reach the given target value in shorter time than the second modification is computed for more precise evaluation. The assumption is different efficiency when solving a problem of small and large scale.

The evaluation of the problems of verification isodose distribution - the simulation of the treatment fields on simulator Acuity.
KOCOUREK, Michal
The verification of the treatment fields{\crq} location on a simulator is one of the main activities within the field of radiation quality. Simulation pictures are compared with reference pictures (DRR). during the simulation. If a patient{\crq}s position during the simulation differs from the reference picture, the deviations are shown in individual axes. The aim of a radiotherapy assistant is to reduce the extent of those deviations to a minimum, or at least to the range of tolerance given in a tolerance table. The accuracy of the setup is an important factor in the process of quality assurance in radiotherapy. There are two methods available for the assessment of deviations on a simulator: - the method of anatomical structures comparison - the method of picture fusion In the case of the method of comparison of anatomical structures, the level of equivalence of the pictures is ascertained by using the multi-leaf collimator{\crq}s lamellas or the degree scale shown in the picture. Further verification of the accuracy of the setup is done in the individual radiotherapists{\crq} workplaces, specifically the linear accelerator and/or the cobalt irradiator, where the DRR is mostly compared with the portal picture. The method of comparison of the anatomical structures is used more frequently at the Radiotherapeutic Clinic of the České Budějovice Hospital than the method of picture fusion.

Comparison of the occurrence of inversion at the 9th chromosome in infertile and sterile patients with literature dates
Šlégrová, Sandra ; Krkavcová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Šípek, Antonín (referee)
The pericentric inversion of the chromosome 9 [inv (9)] is the most common small-scale inversions in the human chromosomes. Some publications consider it as a variation of the human karyotype, which has no clinical manifestations. However there are mentioned the studies in this thesis that reports the inversion on the chromosome 9 in connection with the various pathological conditions, such as sterility, infertility, or some congenital anomalies. However, most attention is paid to the patients who were evaluated for the indication due to the failure of reproduction (sterility or infertility). The research was conducted in the accredited genetic laboratory GENvia s.r.o., where the data of the period 2004-2011 are collected. During this period a total of 5195 patients of variety indication reasons were examined. Totally 84 cases of them were found with inversion of the chromosome 9 with an incidence of 1.62 % laboratory. The indication diagnoses are divided into six created groups because of their quantity. One of them is called sterility/infertility. There were found 23 cases with inversion in the 9th chromosome in this group. It makes 27.38 % totally of the amount found in the chromosome inversions 9th. The occurrence of this inversion was also noticed in other indication groups: the congenital...

Food preferences of small terrestrial mammals and their influence on biodiversity of plant communities in wet orchid meadows
CUDLÍN, Ondřej
Food preference of small rodents to consume the roots of wild plants with the emphasize on their impact to bulbs of orchid Dactylorhiza majalis has been studied on three localities during years 2002 - 2007. There were selected ten couples of plants in each plots, one individual of couple plants was protected by tin triangle. Indicated plants have been measured in the beginning (high, length and wide of the leaves and flower number) and at the end of growing period (number of capsules). Small mammals were snaptrapped for three nights in the autumn. On each locality four rows of 25 snap traps were situated, two rows through orchid plots and two without orchids. In years 2004 {--} 2007 the food preference was ascertained on studied sites. Roots of Daucus carota (as a control in year 2004) and roots of Selinum carvifolia (as control in years 2005 - 2007) and roots of tested plant were put into one rectangle "bait" of size 15 x 6 centimeters from gauze. These 50 "baits" were placed among 100 traps on each locality, every other trap, during snaptrapped of small mammals. Browsing was classified by six number scale. During years 2005 - 2007 food preference of Microtus arvalis under laboratory conditions of Science Faculty of South Bohemia University was achieved with the roots of the same species as we used during food preference on plots. During years 2006 -2007 bulbs of Dactylorhiza majalis from laboratory condition and a few idividuals from endengered meadows by revitalization of pond were added. During yeas 2006 and 2007 the contain of stomach from Microtus arvalis and Microtus agrestis, catched during autumn, was studied. Bulb destruction by small rodents during years 2002 - 2007 was not confirmed. But Microtus arvalis preferred bulbs of Dactylorhiza majalis under laboratory conditions and roots of Selinium carvifolium and Lysimachia vulgaris boths in laboratory and wet meadows. Destruction of orchid bulbs and more preferred roots of wild plants by small rodents could occur probably only in outbreaks of their population cycle. I did not observe this on studied plots. In mount of stomach from Microtus arvalis only 3% underground supply organs of plants; rest of stomach contain was consisted of aboveground green part of plants. This result was expexted, because small rodents prefere during vegetation period green part of plants.

Everyday Life of the Czech (Czechoslovak) pilots in the Great Britain (1939-1945)

Correlations between clinical and electromyographic findings in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome depending on rehabilitation therapy
Koutská, Helena ; Lepšíková, Magdaléna (advisor) ; Rychnovský, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this study was to evaluate the therapeutic effect of rehabilitation in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome. The study focused on a comparison between electromyographic findings, the findings of physioterapist-led clinical examinations and the patient's subjective feelings, illustrated by a visual analogue scale of pain intensity. These three types of examinations were carried out prior to the commencement of rehabilitation and following 8 rehabilitation sessions (within a period of 2 months) in a cohort of 15 patients, and correlations between them were described. Given the high prevalence of the disease, an effort was made to find objective examination criteria without the need to resort to electromyography. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The 2015 Refugee crisis and politics of the Czech Republic
Woloszczuková, Kristýna ; Prorok, Vladimír (advisor) ; Lisa, Aleš (referee)
The theses deals with the most current problem of refugees stemming from the Syrian crisis, and the consequences the migration crisis can have for stability and the overall political situation in the chosen region. Due to the fact that the Syrian crisis is felt not only in the region, the aim of this thesis is to look at the impact of subsequent migrant crisis on the EU with focus on the Czech Republic. Despite various attempts by the international community, including the EU and the Czech Republic itself, to stabilise the situation the migration crisis is not, within a short and midterm time frame, closing to an end, and it is necessary to focus on possible negative consequences it may bring. The aim of this thesis is to uncover possible political repercussions. Even though, the Czech Republic is in reality afflicted by the migration wave on a minimal scale, the main hypothesis of this thesis is that the current migration wave has an influence on its political scene. The thesis is focusing especially on extremism in the Czech public and consequently in the political scene.
