Marketing information system project in the respective company
MAŠKOVÁ, Irena
The topic of the final-year dissertation is: Marketing information system (MIS) project in the respective company. I did my final-year dissertation at Lázně Aurora, s.r.o. in Třeboň.The objective of the dissertation was to analyse situation of the current MIS at Lázně Aurora and to compare it with the situation characterised in the bachelor{\crq}s degree dissertation. Marketing researches would follow. After analysing Lázně Aurora{\crq}s existing MIS, I came to the conclusion that the Internal Information System which Lázně Aurora has in place, is of a high standard. The company also has a good quality Reporting Information System. I see some shortcomings in Lázně Aurora{\crq}s Marketing Survey System, as the company focuses in its surveys on existing or past clientele only. This means that the company conducts only part of a comprehensive marketing survey, which is more a sales support or client retention attempts. At present, Lázně Aurora misses a marketing system to support decision making. As the cause of the MIS shortcomings I see the fact that at present demand exceeds supply, and therefore Aurora does not see the need to make full use of the MIS. I performed two marketing researches. In the first questionnaire survey I made use of the existing questionnaire of Lázně Aurora and applied it according to the Aurora{\crq}s management instructions only to the current clientele. On the basis of the shortcomings identified in the marketing research system of Lázně Aurora I proposed (as a part of the main goal of the final-year dissertation) a variant of the questionnaire survey, which is more correct from the marketing point of view. I have completely worked out a new marketing research on the basis of the questionnaire elaborated by me and applied it to the sample of randomly selected respondents from the wide public. The results generated from both questionnaire surveys were positive for Aurora, but nevertheless it would be advisable to conduct a series of further marketing surveys, focusing mainly on the needs and wishes of not only existing, but also prospective guests. I believe that in the future, collecting information from quality marketing surveys and correctly functioning MIS will be for Aurora essential for maintaining their competitiveness on the spa industry market.

The Theoretical Background of Neuronal Networks
ROKŮSEK, Zdeněk
In focus of this dissertation is the theoretical background of the neural networks with a description of basic models of these neural networks and their application in practice. Furthermore, this work provides a concise historical overview of the exploration on field of the neural calculations. It also clarifies neuro-physiological motivation that conducts to the mathematical model of the neuron just like the neural networks. The number of options of neural networks and ways how to apply them is high. The neural networks can be used to define figures or to compress data, and so on. Among the most familiar models of a neural network is the multilayer neural network, the model of MADALINE, the associative network or the Hopfield´s network.

New town hall for the district Brno-North
Červinková, Šárka ; Magnusek, Pavel (referee) ; Nový, Vítězslav (advisor)
A city hall BRNO – North – dissertation 2015 A public building with the main function for the city hall for city part Brno – North. The building is extended with a representative hall which is also used for the culture and sociable events. Furthermore, this building includes a ceremonial hall, a cafe and a lecture room. A designed building of the city hall is situated in the centre position in a designed building. A close connection with Provaznikova street provides a connection to a current building a good accessibility for pedestrians and also for cars. At first was built the city hall, neverthless during following steps it would fit in the designed building. A position „centre“ and it´s own importance of the city hall allows to create a new strong binding with a current territory since it´s beggining. The public building and a public open space fill in this territory with an active life in a public space. A material solution of the city building reacts on a current and a future urban context. The traffic connection continues with a current communication. An entrances into the building are from Provaznikova street and a suggested square. An entrace to underground garages are on right side from a main entrance in a new designed street. A concept of the city hall includes two materials connected by communication hall which closes a public area of the square. Materials in a ground plan creates almost letter U. A combination of offices, servises for citizens, a multifunctional hall, a ceremonial hall and a cafe offer an optimal contain for a current and aslo for a future city hall. The height of building is moderate and isn´t higher than a designed or sorrounded buildings. A criterion of the building shows a kindness to people going by and also an honour to it´s meaning. A significant architectonic point of the city hall is a rotating arcade created by colonnade in an axial distance 2m and height 6,5m. This point itself contributes to an extraordinariness of this building and refers to Greek archatype. A regularity, a rast and a tectonics in all building is based on a constructive module which influenced an inner layout structure. A strenght and a stability is impared by a facade from a classical obverse masonry which has two visual solutions for an administrativelly – authoritilly part and more decorated for a part with a hall and a hall. A transparency of developments which is connected with a phylosophy of the city hall is shown in a glass entrance hall, furthermore in a solutions of corridors and offices and all kinds of boardrooms. The building is designed with a consideration of a premanently sustainable developement and management with energies, as a sustainable building.

Czech and Moravian Christmas traditions
Mrtková, Veronika ; Dvořáková, Markéta (advisor) ; Dvořáková, Michaela (referee)
This dissertation is looking into the Czech and Moravian Christmas traditions in detail. The theoretical part provides a complete picture and characteristic of the Christmas period. The focus then turns to topics discussing the historical background, timelines, Christmas symbolic, sayings and mainly the Christmas traditions. The theory mostly draws on resources from expert literature, which is supplemented with information from other resources on the given topic. In the practical part, the author then analyzes the different ways of spending Christmas times in the Central Czech and South Moravian regions in depth. The course of the Christmas time was mapped by interviews with chosen respondents from contemporary Czech households. The adherence to or diversion from traditions, new trends and tendencies and the influence of commercialization on the Christmas holidays were given a higher importance. The closing chapter is dedicated to a comparison, whose main goal was to explain the eventual differences in adherence to Christmas traditions among sociocultural characteristics, mainly by the location.

Applications of capillary electrophoresis in life sciences
Křížek, Tomáš ; Coufal, Pavel (advisor) ; Pacáková, Věra (referee) ; Tůma, Petr (referee)
Tomáš Křížek: Applications of Capillary Electrophoresis in Life Sciences (Dissertation thesis) ABSTRACT This thesis is focused on the applications of capillary electrophoresis in two important areas of life sciences, proteomics and enzyme assays. In the first part, Pluronic F-127 copolymer was studied as a sieving matrix for proteomic applications of capillary gel electrophoresis. The effect of thermoassociation of Pluronic F-127 on the separation selectivity was investigated and no difference in selectivity of the separation below, inside and above the thermoassociation temperature region was observed. The performance of Pluronic F-127 in capillary gel electrophoresis was compared with dextran as a commonly used sieving matrix. The results showed, that Pluronic F-127 offers superior performance for low-molecular-mass proteins because it provides higher separation power than dextran with significantly lower viscosity of the background electrolyte. The lower viscosity makes the polymer easier to replace after each analysis, which leads to remarkably higher repeatability of the experiments. On the other hand, dextran, due to its higher viscosity, was shown to be more convenient for separations of protein digests, where extremely high separation efficiency is required. The second part focuses on...

Time-resolved potentiometry on liquid-liquid interface
Mansfeldová, Věra
MSc. Věra Mansfeldová Dissertation thesis: Time-resolved potentiometry on liquid-liquid interface Abstract The aim of this work is to explore the method of temporal resolution in potentiometry as a new prospective electrochemical analytical technique. In connection with interface of two immiscible electrolyte solutions (ITIES) it may find utilization in analytical chemistry. This technique up to my knowledge has not been published yet. Potential response of analyte on liquid/liquid interface includes both distribution processes, their temporal resolution and redox processes, which specificity can modified by changing the composition of individual phases. Unlike "classic" potentiometric techniques, limited just to potential determination, this method, which I have given the working name "time resolved potentiometry at liquid-liquid interface" utilizes time development of potential response, which was found to be an analyte-specific function. The time resolved potentiometry presented in this work includes time course of potential response to analytical parameters specific for particular analyte. It brings series of data characterizing the analyte in given environment in a similar manner as spectra and may allow creating analyte-specific data package - fingerprint. Combination with ITIES allows, unlike...
