Intranet Design to Support Business Processes

The subject of this diploma thesis is the implementation of the intranet to support business processes. At the beginning are defined the basic concepts of the topic. Then I analyzed the situation in the company and the current status of ICT. Based on these analyses, I proposed the intranet implementation process leading to simplify and streamline business operations.

Logistics support police of the Czech Republic in dealing with crisis situation

Police of the Czech Republic provides for declaration of an emergency or crisis situation many activities. For the successful implementation of these activities must be appropriately trained police staff and to provide appropriate conditions for carrying out these tasks. An integral part of providing adequate conditions of police personnel and logistical support. This work provides a study of available literature and law basic picture of the logistical support of the Police in dealing with a crisis situation, which is described in the first part. Using quantitative research in the form of an anonymous survey validates the level of logistical support to the Police of the Czech Republic. The sample was composed of the officers of district police department of various regions of the Czech Republic. The sample consisted of rank and file police officers, as well as heads of district police department. A questionnaire survey during the first three questions focused on the characteristics of the sample. Another part of the questionnaire assessed, among other things, whether the respondents participated in a crisis situation, whether they are satisfied with the equipment your department, your company vehicles and their personal resources to tasks in dealing with crisis situations. Subsequently, respondents are asked whether they accomplish tasks in dealing with crisis situations and receive food and rest assured that they are by the employer in the event of damage to equipment and facilities these parts replaced and whether they changed equipment before its expiration time. The last section of the questionnaire addresses the information to carry out treatment (intervention), the possibility of connection points emergencies, providing medical services respondents and provide training with legislative changes well in advance. Based on the study of available literature in the thesis are defined in terms of crisis management, emergency, crisis situation and found there is a parallel between these concepts and the concept of logistic support. In the second part describes the methodology and hypotheses. The third part consists of the results. The final part consists of discussion, where they are analyzed achievements work. To achieve the objectives of the work in this work used methods of data collection, analysis, mathematical and graphical. When writing a thesis, I first studied the literature in logistics and logistical support and the study of the legislation, which serves as the legal basis for the logistical support of the Police of the Czech Republic in dealing with crisis situations. When choosing a topic for this bachelor thesis I stated hypothesis "Logistical support the Police of the Czech Republic is at a good level." This hypothesis was disproved in the thesis.

Use discussion groups to support education at universities

Focusing the thesis, the issue related to web 2.0 education at universities. The term web 2.0 is defined in the first part of the thesis. There are given its characteristics and an overview of the most used tools. Specifically, the topic of this thesis is one of the tools of web 2.0, which are discussion groups and their influence on support education. Discussion groups are generally characterized in the second part, which are created criteria for comparison and evaluation. The third part is devoted to four selected school discussion forums, which are described on the basis of previously established criteria and evaluated from different perspectives. Another aim of the thesis is view the using of Internet discussion groups by students of universities. It is recognized by the method of answering questionnaire, which is devoted to the last fourth part of this thesis.

Applications for team cooperation support

The topic of the presented diploma thesis revolves around team cooperation support applications, also known under the term groupware. The author first explains the common terms pertaining to the issue at hand and subsequently places these applications into the information system infrastructure of an organization. Afterward, the functions of these applications are listed and characterized in more detail. The core of this thesis lies in outlining a method of evaluating these applications in terms of their meeting predetermined criteria (groupware, the SaaS model, free of charge, general scope of functions). From the user's perspective, the applications are evaluated by criteria divided into four areas (graphic design, user-friendliness, functionality, technological compatibility). Weighted average is instrumental to the analysis. The method puts accent on flexibility, fair-mindedness, reusability. The final part of the present diploma thesis is devoted to the underlying principles of the manual which would help team leaders to choose the right groupware application.

Využití simulačních metod pro podporu procesního řízení v systémech integrovaného managementu

The main subject of this thesis consists of analyse aimed on the mapping, modelling and simulation tools for the use in integrated systems of management. The theoretical part of thesis analyses actual subject situation based on the literature research. This part describes mainly used standards and trends, methodology of process mapping, process evaluation, improoving and optimizing. The practical part of thesis includes a model of real manufacturing process and a simulation of its behaviour in the simulation environment Allcelar 2010. The real system is optimized by the use of economic criteria. The thesis employs methods of simulation, modeling and optimization, which are together with the decision making, systems approach, operations research and queuing systems content of the theoretical part. The goal of the submitted thesis is to apply and check gained knowledge for mapping and analyzing of specific business processes followed by the evaluation of its effectiveness and suggestion of its optimization. The area of business processes and process management is described in the theoretical part. Additionally the methodology of business process modeling and methods of process evaluation and process improvement is also described. The practical part is focused on identification of the company's processes, analysis of the innovative processes and evaluation of their effectiveness. The following optimization of the processes is based on the facts found out by the previous research.

Possibilities of the Internet Trade with the Accent on Small and Medium Sized Companies

Práce se v teoretické části zabývá definicí a vývojem internetu i elektronického obchodování nejen ve světě, ale také v ČR. V další části se věnuje problematice malých a středních podniků u nás. Posléze jsou poznatky z teoretických kapitol aplikovány na konkrétní případ středního podniku Skleněná bižuterie a.s. Po provedení analýzy využití internetu v dané firmě jsou zde navrženy možnosti, jak tento stav vylepšit pro zvýšení ekonomických přínosů, snížení nákladů a v neposlední řadě pro podporu image firmy.

Rozvoj venkovského cestovního ruchu prostřednictvím ROP v kraji Vysočina

The main focus of this diploma thesis lies on an evaluation of the support of the rural tourism industry provided by ERDF's Regional Operational Programme Southeast. Diploma thesis contains theoretical explanation of concept of rural tourism and potential development through EU funding. Theoretical part explains the concept of tourism, rural tourism and the beginnings of rural tourism. Contains argue about rural tourism in context of the sustainable development of the tourism. Thereafter follows an explanation of the principles of regional politics and functioning of support through EU funding. Last chapter of the literature research defines analyzed area from the viewpoint of its potential for the development of the tourism industry. The applied part of the diploma thesis contains an analysis of realized projects in the priority axis 2: Development of sustainable tourism (fields of support 2.1 and 2.2). Projects are analyzed according to selected criteria of rural tourism. Finally, an evaluation of the support of rural tourism provided by ROP Southeast and contains the final recommendations for the develompment of the rural tourism.

Facility Management in Czech Republic - market overview and IT/ICT support

Tato diplomová práce má za úkol poskytnout čtenáři ucelený přehled o Facility Managementu, jeho historii, současném stavu v České Republice a IT/ICT nástrojích jež se pro podporu Facility Managementu užívají. Trh Facility Managementu v České republice je analyzován ze tří úhlů pohledu. První částí je odhad regionálního objemu služeb Facility Managementu za pomocí vícekriteriálního hodnocení regionů dle makroekonomických a konkurenčních údajů získaných vesměs z Českého statistického úřadu. Metodika druhé části, jež se zabývá objemem služeb dle odvětvové struktury trhu, je obdobná. Třetí částí je analýza a definice služeb Facility Managementu a jejich přiřazení k jednotlivým poskytovatelům v České republice. Poslední částí této práce je přehled nástrojů IT/ICT podpory pokrývající Facility Management, jejich vzájemné porovnání a nalezení přidané hodnoty těchto systémů vedoucí k implementaci nad rámec standardních ERP řešení.
