Devices for video creation and its influence on the record
Chládek, Lukáš ; Truhlář, Filip (advisor) ; Krist, Antonín (referee)
Work is focused on video recording devices, their properties and how these properties affects technical and visual aspects of the video record. To achieve the objectives of the work there was done analysis of the types of devices, finding their principle of operation and analysis of the components used to generate the record. This knowledge has been applied in the comparison of types of devices for different purposes and in the selection of equipment for a real project.

Experimental investigation of air pressure, acoustic characteristics and vibrations of vocal folds on a complex physical model of phonation in humans.
Horáček, Jaromír ; Radolf, Vojtěch ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Veselý, Jan ; Laukkanen, A. M.
The contribution aims to provide material that can be used in development of more realistic physical as well as theoretical models of voice production. The experimental set-up, methodology and the results of measurement of airflow rate, subglottal, oral and generated acoustic air pressures are presented together with the simultaneously measured flow-induced vibrations of a vocal folds replica, made of soft silicon rubber, and recorded by a high speed camera. The data were measured during a ‘soft’ phonation just above the phonation onset, given by the phonation threshold airflow rate, and during a ‘normal’ phonation for the airflow rate of about three times higher. A model of the human vocal tract in the position for production of vowel [u:] was used and the flow resistance was raised by phonating into a glass resonance tube either in the air or having the other end of the tube submerged under water, and by phonating into a narrow straw. The results for the pressures presented in time and frequency domain are comparable with the physiological ranges and limits measured in humans for ordinary phonation and for production of vocal exercises used in voice therapy.

Pupil becoming a teacher with particular view to mathematics
Mudrová, Monika ; Hejný, Milan (advisor) ; Slezáková, Jana (referee)
In the diploma thesis "From a pupil to the teacher on Math lessons" I would like to survey my experiences with Math and teachers, which thought me. I survey cognitive pupils thought process by answer of verbal excercise in Math on primary school. Practical part of diploma thesis contains verbal excercise for pupils from 4th classes of primary schools, with proposition how to set this exercise before pupils. Diploma thesis contains record on DVD. Experiments with five pupils from 4th class of primary school are the body of thesis. They are record on DVD and logged. Three experiments are analyzed.

The archive of the Otava river floods and design of analog-based forecasting method
Vlasák, Tomáš ; Hladný, Josef (advisor) ; Soukalová, Eva (referee) ; Kříž, Vladislav (referee)
(EN): Study of historical flood events is important as a base for hydrological studies, as well as for proposal offlood control measures and real-time flood forecasting helping forecasters to support their decisions. This work deals with proposal of Flood Archive (databa of flood event) and its app|ication in the scope offlood protection ofotava river basin to Písek water gauge. The objective was to pťopose Archive of historical floods containing information about casual synoptical situation, connected weather phenomena (precipitation, temperature) and runoff response. Flood formation mechanism in otava river basin was described using this Archive. A forecasting technique based on analogue method was designed. This technique searches historical records for flood events of similar causes and estimates possible development of runoff response. Archive consists of 72 flood events that occurred between I 890 and 2006 and their peak flow in all cases exceeded given threshold discharge in Písek closin. profile (lO-year return period for 1890-196,l and ,l -year return period for 1961-2006). Available historical data was gathered and processed inÍ.lgraphic form (maps, graphs' tables). F|ood Archive is part of the di ssertation thesis. The most outstanding features of flood formation mechanism in otava river...

Implementation of Modern Approaches in Electronic Health Record
Dioszegi, Matej ; Říha, Antonín (referee) ; Nagy, Miroslav (advisor)
In the present work we study the possible implementations of electronic health record using modern technologies. The main goal is decomposition of server functionality among multiple parts. We use the idea of web-services, which means that each part of the system offers services available for remote hosts. The components communicate with each other using the SOAP protocol. We also study the possibility of storing patient's administrative information into separate storage, which suits the purpose better than original data trees, which are used to store clicnical information. Besides, this separation is suitable for anonymization of data used by statistical computing. In my work the manner of storing patient's clinical data in data trees and possibility of flexible modeling of data layer using knowledge trees, which together create a knowledge base, is preserved.

Application for Mobile Phone Which Will Proccess GPS Data (Symbian)
Klubal, Ondřej ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Horáček, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes a design of an application for Symbian S60 Platform 5rd Edition. Main purpose of this application is to collect data from  cellphone's GPS module, record them in standard format and analyze recorded traces. Particular attention is mainly focused on data accuracy and track points filtering. In this application it is possible to compare recorded traces. It also allows the visualization of the GPS data on cellphone's display as chart and previewing the route.

Actual problems of identification and description of web information resources
Synková, Veronika ; Bratková, Eva (advisor) ; Vlasák, Rudolf (referee)
This thesis deals about problems of identification and description of electronic information resources on the Internet. It is mainly focused on web resources. It outlines some specific features of electronic resources and reasons why conventional cataloging methods are not proper for description of these resources. The main goal of this work is to make reader acquainted with selected descriptive metadata formats and illustrate their usage in practice. -- Problems of determination of bibliographic unit are mentioned briefly. There is short chapter on IFLA study Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records (FRBR, http://www.ifla.org/VII/s13/wgfrbr/index.htm). Bibliographic entities and their relations are presented. -- Some technical standards for metadata communication are remembered - mark-up languages, Resource Description Framework (RDF, http://www.w3.org/RDF/) and a standard for encoding descriptive, administrative, and structural metadata METS (Metadata Encoding and Transmission Standard, http://www.loc.gov/standards/mets/). -- Next chapters turned to selected descriptive metadata formats and following systems and projects. Each format, system or project is briefly described - bibliographic unit, format structure, eventually differences from original format. The chosen metadata formats are mostly...

Determination of the kinetics of crushing tablets of microcrystalline cellulose
Jechoutková, Petra ; Řehula, Milan (advisor) ; Musilová, Marie (referee)
In the standard manner, mechanical resistance is evaluated by tablet strength in Newtons or by radial strength in MPa. It expresses the force or pressure at which the tablet breaks or is deformed. A new method for expressing the mechanical properties of the tablet is the use of the record of the force-course, which is recorded directly during the process of destruction. This record makes it possible to characterize the crushing process by means of the course of crushing in mm, crushing force in Newtons, or energy of crushing in Nmm. The present paper is focused on the determination of the optimal adjustment of the devices for the measurement of tablet strength. They were tested at a rate of preloading within a range from 0.01 to 0.1 mm/s, preloading from 1 to 4 N, and a rate of the cycle from 5 to 20 N/s. It follows from the results of the paper that for standard measurements it is suitable to use the following adjustment of the device: rate of preloading, 0.01 mm/s, preloading, 4 N, and rate of the cycle 5 N/s.
