Employment subvention of visually impaired persons in České Budějovice

The work pursues the employment subvention of visually impaired persons. The theoretical section classifies a visually impaired person, it deals with the education system, employment of visually impaired persons problems and legal regulations. The practical section investigates with forms and ways the employment subvention is offered to visually impaired persons and how the workers of organisations are good at employment of visually impaired persons problems and their opinion about it. The results reflect poor employment subvention of visually impaired persons and ignorance by the workers in the employment sphere in České Budějovice.

Geographical guide of the arctic area - Špicberky

The main aim of this thesis is a preparation of the first Czech geographical guide to the arctic area of Spitsbergen (Svalbard). The thesis is based on English and German specialized books as well as on author´s personal experience that he gained during his three months working stay in there. Theoretical part consists of minute description in accordance with practice used for generation of geographical guidebooks. In practical part of the thesis is author´s draft of his own routes tracing, including thein difficulty, photos and specification. Part of it will work sheets for secondary school pupils, presentation and methodical manual for teachers.

Working with prisoners and the formation of standardized programs

In the year 2007 for the Prison Service of the Czech Republic the new treatment program for offenders of commercially motivated sexual abuse of children became preferred. Community is very focused on this area of criminality. In 2007 there were 1 205 of abuse of children. Getting over the long-standing taboo has criminological consequences, which has been confirmed by records on sexual abuse and maltreatment in personal files of dangerous offenders. Therefore, special treatment with offenders of sexual abuse of children represents part of the fight against the most serious criminality and contributes to protection to the most vulnerable members of our community. Commercially motivated sexual abuse of children has been frequently accomplished through a third person that uses pressure or violence on a child. That is why offenders deny their guilt before both the community and their own conscience. The standardized program should guide an offender towards recognition of reasons and consequences of his/her criminal activities. The research part of this thesis concentrates on how the program is perceived by both the offenders and the realization team. Superior and efficiency sport of visually impaired people in the Czech Republic

Project: Superior and efficiency sport of visually impaired people in the Czech Republic Aim of the project: The aim of the project is to compile an overview about Paralympic and selected sports that are done by visually impaired people here in the Czech Republic. The overview includes basic information about specification of individual sports of visually impaired persons as well as updated description of organization of sports for such disabled persons. Based on these facts it makes suggestions to improve the current state. Method: To achieve the aim of this project, an author made an analysis of literature specialized in the given issue, compared the selected documents and personally joined several sport events aimed at visually impaired persons. Results: The current state of organization and direction of the Czech Blind Sportsmen Association is not optimum. The suggestions to improve it are stated in discussion. The protection of the injured person and the victim in the criminal proceedings

THE PROTECTION OF THE INJURED PERSON AND THE VICTIM IN THE CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS - ABSTRACT The content of this thesis is a definition of the term "injured person" in the sense of procedural party of the criminal proceedings and of the term "victim of the criminal act" in the sense of subject that is being defined by other legislation than by the Criminal Procedure Code. In the introductory chapter of this thesis the reader will be learnt the status of the injured person in the criminal proceedings (not only) in our country from the historical perspective. Thereafter he/she will be clarified the term "injured person" and simultaneously will be learnt a catalog of permissions the injured person is being granted by the Criminal Procedure Code. Separate chapter is devoted to the victim of the criminal act. In this chapter the reader will be learnt in particular international documents and regulations of the European Union which are being devoted to this term whereas a part of this chapter is also devoted to the existing legislation in the Czech Republic. In this thesis is also possible to learn, at least in general, legislation in neighboring countries. In conclusion the thesis is guided by considerations on possible future changes in legislation concerning the status of the injured person and the victim.

The trans-fatty acids in subcutaneous fat and in fat content of breast milk as an indicator of their nutritional intake

Trans fatty acids (TFA) are unsaturated fatty acids, which have one or more double bonds in the trans configuration. Their main dietary sources are partially hardened fats and food products containing partially hardened fats (margarines, shortenings, bakery products, and fast foods). TFA are thought to increase the risk of coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes. These fatty acids have adverse effects on blood lipid levels, increasing LDL-cholesterol while decreasing HDL-cholesterol. Consumption of TFA can also impair insulin sensitivity. High intake of TFA is associated with systemic inflammation, activation of immune functions and endothelial dysfunction. Hypotheses also exist that TFA may have adverse effect on the metabolism of essential fatty acids and foetus development. The concentration of TFAs in subcutaneous fat is a very good indicator of dietary exposure of TFA. This concentration reflects long-term dietary intake of these fatty acids. Levels of TFA in human milk are more variable; however, it is quite simple to obtain a sample of human milk. Czech theatrical poster 1968-1989: visual semiotic

Method of visual semiotics applied in the environment of the Czech theater-posters in the period of 1968 - 1989 discovered conscious or subconscious reflections in the works of artists cooperating on the art designs advertising the National Theatre in Prague and other Prague's stages, as E. F. Burian Theatre (Divadlo E.F.Buriana, now Divadlo Archa) and S. K. Neumann Theatre (Divadlo S. K. Neumanna, now Divadlo Pod Palmovkou). Presented text deals with question of mapping out the posters created for an official theater stage of the National Theatre in Prague in the period of normalization. It contains a list of posters published by the National theatre in Prague in the period 1968-89 and a visual collection of such posters - altogether 70 posters. As main sources of information served year-books "Czech graphic art and maps" (Česká grafika a mapy), "Bibliographic catalogue of the CSSR" (Bibliografický katalog ČSSR) published by the State Library of the CSSR, the Archives of the National Theatre, Anenské square 2, Prague 1, Archives of the Moravian Gallery in Brno, and personal archives of the artists themselves. This diploma thesis discusses the connection trough the programmable automation (PLC) with a personal computer (PC) for the purpose of operating software simulation in NI LabVIEW. Diploma thesis is divided in two main parts. Design and manufacture of the communication unit, which is in charge of communication between PC and PLC and further programming simulation models in software NI LabVIEW.

Organization and management of production in selected enterprise

The topic of my dissertation is "Organization and management of production in selected enterprise". The main goal of this dissertation is mapping of selected enterprise in one year period and obtain sufficient amount of information for future analysis and suggest possible improvements. The identification data, characteristic, products and services and production planning of selected enterprise are provided in introduction of practical part of this dissertation. Analysis of present state with mapping of present state for individually semi-finished products is introduced in the next part of dissertation. For analysis of present state was calculated VA index and for each semi-finished product was created diagram of material movement in next chapter. The goal of analyses and diagram is the finding of narrow spaces in the material flow. The target map of future state was created in the next part. This map is based on present map. The future map presents critical factors that need to be improved. Finally it defines a new VA index, which should be approach to the current state. The penultimate section includes recommendations methods and elements of lean production to the new production hall which the company wants to build. Among the recommended methods are mainly the 5S method, visualization, standardization, SMED and Bottleneck. The last chapter contains a number of measures. For example employee motivation, continuous improvement, personal responsibility, introduction of EDI and ergonomics which would lead to the improvement of the business this enterprise.

The snooper - multifunkcional design study

The theoretical part of my diploma thesis entitled {\clqq} The Snooper : multifunkcional designer study ``, is analysing problem of the intersection into the personal privacy. This problem had stimulated the author to create a work of visual art. Hereafter it documents examples of historical use of ceramic wall tiles with relief decoration . Also it presents the technology of producing wall tiles. The practical part of my diploma thesis contains design, production and installation of wall tiles with relief motive of a{\clqq}snooper`` in the interior of public toilettes . It also photographically doocuments this happening.
