Evaluation and motivation in public administration
Vašíčková, Natálie ; Mitwallyová, Helena (advisor) ; Vláčil, Jan (referee)
The theme of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation and motivation of employees in public administration. The introductory part outlines the evaluation and motivation of employees on a general level, and then describes the specifics applicable for public administration. The practical part is focused on the evaluation and motivation systems used at selected institutions of public administration. It aims to assess these systems, suggest possible recommendations and find out whether the systems in use include modern management methods, such as evaluation interviews, competency models and regular system of employee evaluation as such. The research method consisted of interviews with human resources managers at selected institutions of public administration. Complementary information was obtained from materials created by these institutions themselves. All institutions of public administration are governed by Act No. 234/2014 Coll. on Civil Service, enshrining the evaluation of state employees. However, it depends on whether employees are evaluated formally, or if additional evaluation tools beyond the framework of the law are deployed, e.g. competency models. Officials of territorial authorities are subject to Act No. 312/2002 Coll., which does not explicitly define employee evaluation, yet employees are evaluated at many regional as well as local administration units. The results of the research survey confirmed that modern management methods are used in public administration and that the evaluation systems do not have any significant shortcomings.

Liška, Juraj ; Opatrný, Josef (referee)
Characteristics of Tourism in San Francisco de Sales, Colombia (a doctoral thesis summary) The country areas of Departamento Cundinamarca, which creates the background of the nine-million-inhabitant capital city of Bogotá and thus represents the most important Colombian region, have shown a significantly decreasing production and effectiveness of both primary and secondary economic sector since the second half of the 20th century. Consequently, since the end of 1990s, an economic alternative has been sought in various regions of Colombia. Ecotourism, which has been found as a reasonable solution, appears to be a suitable economic alternative also for the town of San Francisco de Sales. Active tourism in Colombia, i.e. tourists coming to the country, has decreased recently as a result of the problematic situation of the country. However, despite the economic crisis, domestic tourism remains the moving force of development on both local and regional levels in many areas. This research does not include one of the significant phenomena of the Cundinamarca region countryside, i.e. "the second home". The main purpose of this research is to identify and characterise tourism developing in the town of San Francisco. The author researches possibilities of sustainable development of the town provided by its hotel...

Music and words in the chamber cycles Lukáš Hurník
Franěk, Milan ; Nedělka, Michal (advisor) ; Bezděk, Jiří (referee) ; Pecháček, Stanislav (referee)
The emphasis of this thesis was put on a complex analysis of two cycles, which belong to the rather abundant vocal output of Lukáš Hurník. A second chapter became essential which explicitly discusses these aspects in detail. There were several factors which motivated me to choose this topic: musical and literary content and its parameters as well as the emerging views on pedagogical interpretation in a current school. However, I did not primarily follow the exact explication of these incitations, which would normally be conclusive for the chosen compositions. I also did not determine the exact educational level in which these compositions could be used. This offers numerous variable possibilities of usage, depending on which result of the analysis will be preferred by a particular educator, to which purpose and in what situation he decides to use this composition. The main interest was therefore to make sure, that certain impulses to this interpretation would be clearly evident in the results of these analyses but simultaneously would not claim to be dogmatically untouchable. Even though the main point of my observation was the complex analysis, containing all the attributes of a serious study, 1 could not act schematically. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
