Faradji, Elise ; Štěrbová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Seror, Patricia (referee)
Nowadays consumers purchasing behavior is influenced by new factors such as the social and environmental implication of companies. This is why Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a growing trend which companies need to look after carefully. However implementing an efficient CSR strategy is a complex process for corporations; especially since the core concept of CSR remain quite blurry. The goal of this study is to analyze the perception of consumers towards CSR to find out about the value creation that CSR produce for consumers and its impact on their purchasing behavior. This paper will ultimately help companies to implement their CSR strategy more efficiently. This study aims to contribute by conducting an in-depth analysis of consumers attitudes and behavior towards CSR. If most of researchers are using a quantitative approach this study means to deal with the issue with a qualitative perspective. Indeed twelve semi-structured interviews will support the findings. On top of those practical and physical interviews some theoretical knowledge will be added to the construction of the argument especially to bring a framework that shows the importance of all types of value creation (functional emotional and social). The findings of the thesis emphasize the facts already proven by other researchers; value creation is fundamental to make consumers care about CSR. However the study will show how much skepticism towards CSR can impact negatively consumers purchasing behavior. The research will help companies implementing more successful CSR strategy and develop new solutions to reach customers and influence their purchasing behavior through the creation of value for them.

Function of the pilgrimage in history of European culture
Lebedová, Šárka ; Matějů, Martin (referee) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor)
We surely can maintain that peregrination is as old as mankind itself. Since the dawn of Christian events, pilgrimage is an universal phenomenon closely tied to European culture, mainly thanks to long-ago wanderings to Rome and Santiago de Compostela. Today, Santiago de Compostela is protected by UNESCO and the so called 'Camino Francés' is accepted as allegedly the first European pilgrimage trail. The immemorial pilgrimage trails of Saint James form the key historical and symbolical system of Spanish and Galician trails across regions and countries. They amalgamate Europeans as subjects and witnesses of their common past and present. The main source of information putting a seal upon it is the Codex Calixtinus, one of the crucial world-renowned pieces of medieval writings. The 'Way of Saint James' became most popular in the eighties, in paradox endangering Santiago de Compostela with all the downsides of mass tourism. In this perspective the year 1993 constitutes an important landmark, which marks the beginning of modern religious wandering in the region. In effect, the devotional pilgrims became tourists themselves, unwittingly growing and creating a specific travel product.

The phenomenon of a stranger in male and female culture
Kučerová, Jitka ; Czumalo, Vladimír (referee) ; Soukup, Václav (advisor)
Modern society does not support variety. Globalization proves this and it affects gender, as well. Society tends to negate variety and reacts inappropriately - by segregation, ridicule, suspicion, etc. Variety is still understood as something of little value. This work studies the issue of variety in gender, whose problems it compares to problems of a stranger. It analyzes both issues in the perspective of modern Western society and offers the analogy of gender issue and the issue of a stranger. This analogy is outlined in three major areas of social life: family x society, specific male and female occupations, and partner relationships. Our work especially stresses tolerance and willingness to find what is realistic in contrast to prejudices. Any kind of discrimination not only disturbs the discriminated but also the discriminating. The obscurity of gender roles in modern times and difficulties in understanding these roles lead to negative effects for both sexes, including a lack of freedom.

The issue of the United Nations Security Council from the perspective of the public international law
Kubová, Gabriela ; Grmelová, Nicole (advisor) ; Votava, Tomáš (referee)
This Bachelors thesis deals with the matter of reforming the United Nations Security Council Membership (UN SC). Security Council is divided into two groups of states. The first group consists of the five permanent members, which has the privilege of the veto. Ten member states are in the secont group of non-permanent members and they are elected for two years. This system did not change during last fifty years and is grossly unfair to some parts of the world. Member states of the UN are calling for many years for the reform, which would fix current status.

The thesis deals with coaching and education of coaches as this form of developing and leading people is actually representing a new phenomenon. Coaching is not legislatively amended in Czech Republic what causes that anybody can call himself a coach. For this reason, three professional associations exist on Czech scene which associate professional coaches with required level of education acquired in specialized programs. One of those programs is "Academy of Coaching Excellence" which is the main topic of this thesis. Using qualitative research it was established that coach competencies of European Mentoring and Coaching Council were found in reflexions of participants of the program which should be followed by all coaches leaving the academy. In conclusion I also suggest recommendations that can further enhance not only the quality of program but also a quality of coaches.
