Financial and economic crisis and its impact on the unemployment rate in the Czech Republic

My thesis concerns on the unemployment connected with world financial and economic crisis and its impact on the unemployment rate in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part explains what has caused the beginning of the financial crisis, following by the description of unemployment topic, mainly its consequences within economic and social field. Practical part involves questionnaire survey done among employees, and it is focused to their point of view and attitudes to the crisis, mainly in relation to their work. This topic is completed with the description of unemployment development based on public statistic data. I conclude my thesis with an overview of EU arrangements that should contribute to solve the unemployment.

We have identified number of possible advices for the Czech Republic to improve its rating for both Heritage Foundation and Fraser Institute Economic Freedom Index, which often leads to top 10 countries in the world. These advices range from cuts in government spending, betterment in judicial system, to the establishing healthier environment for startups and advices to combat corruption. We further noticed some divergence between above mentioned indexes and managed to evaluate those indexes, which showed the simplicity yet usefulness of Heritage EFI and flexibility and sensitivity of the Fraser EFI. Weak sides of the research were noted and ideas for further research were given.

Fiscal rules in selected EU countries between 2004-2015: sensible method for consolidation of public finances or fad of politicians?

The subject of fiscal rules is very topical issue. The rise of public debt in certain developed countries resulted in what is sometimes called "debt crisis". Debt of those countries which is higher than their annual gross domestic product is viewed as unpayable by some economists. The main objective of this thesis has been to prove or disprove hypothesis that the fiscal rules studied in this paper are an effective solution for public finance consolidation. This verification was based on the analysis of fiscal rules functioning in selected countries between 2004 and 2015. As per results of analysis the paper aims to give recommendations for the Czech financial constitution proposal. The actual results of inquiry proved the hypothesis. Well-chosen fiscal rules are the right way towards fiscal consolidation, provided they are observed. Fiscal rules making thus requires an emphasis to be placed on the well-formulated exit clauses altogether with prospective sanctions. The current Czech financial constitution proposal is built on the correctly picked fiscal rule type, although the reference value lacks economic sense and it would not lead, with a high degree of probability, towards fiscal consolidation.

The possibilities and conditions for the use of tools for analyzing customer behavior on social networks

The thesis deals with free tools that can be used to analyze customers of SMB e-commerce enterprises on the social network Facebook in order to increase their competitiveness within the social network. The theoretical part focuses on defining key terms, distinguishes types of social media and describes present social networks situation in world and in the Czech Republic from a users perspective and in the Czech Republic also from an enterprises perspective. Furthermore, the theoretical part also deals with possibilities that social networks can offer to the SMB enterprises. And as well it identifies different types of analytical tools that can be used for purposes of monitoring customers or analysis of customers. In the beginning of the practical part there is introduced the company Dobrutka.EU s.r.o. (the e commerce B2C company). Afterwards is presented the analysis of the survey about how SMB companies that operate the best Czech e-shops monitor and analyze their activities and customers from the social network Facebook. Subsequently there is handled the selection of appropriate tools for SME companies, which are also analyzed in the following chapter. At the end of the practical part there is practical application of knowledge from the thesis to Dobrutka.EU s.r.o. through the design and pilot deployment of appropriate procedures and analytic tools, whose effectiveness is evaluated at the end of chapter. The main benefit is in act of finding and verification of free tools and effective method that allows for detailed analysis of company customers even for micro companies and thus also effectively achieve positive economic results even in emerging facebook presentations.

Multicultural nursing and spirituality of religion in nursing practice

v AJ: The Bachelor's dissertation treats of individual specifications of cultural and religious groups. To description of customs of each immigraton's groups living in The Czech republic is dedicating theoretical part of this labour. I have described cultural and spiritual customs with focus on areas that could be crucial in nursing care. The habits of Vietnamese, Russians, Ukrainians but also Christians, Jews and Muslims are described. The first part of research section of Bachelor's dissertation is attending views of non-doctors staff in Pardubická krajská nemocnice, a.s. to foreigners and try to map this questions. Is finding willingness to fulfil particular requirements of foreigners and pursuit for additional education. The second part of research section of Bachelor's dissertation presents interview with Mongolian woman. It looks on access of non--doctors staff by foreigner's eyes. This research metod has been focused on detecting deficiencies of non-doctors staff and effort to identify trouble situations as well. The conclusion is dedicated to all-round summary and possible steps which resulting from quoted facts. Succession in Czech family owned businesses

The intention of this thesis is to analyse case studies and identify factors of successful succession in Czech family owned businesses (FOB). The work is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the subject and objective of my thesis. Second one deals with theoretical background of entrepreneurship, history of entrepreneurship in Czech Republic and last but not least with theoretical background of FOB. The third chapter is an analysis of researches about succession in FOB made in Czech Republic and also in other parts of world. Personal experiences of teenagers with drug

This bachelor's work is focused on teenager's drugs experience and shows current situation in some selected secondary schools in Prague. It compares student's attitude and experience among gymnasium and secondary practice school with most common addictive substances, such as cigarettes, alcohol and marijuana. This work investigates extent of compatibility addictive substances with studies, parenthood and career. Theoretical part look into the cause of drug abuse, risks which follow from addicted behavior and juvenile crime in connection with drug abuse. There is summary of specific effects of addictive substances on teenagers and particular stages of the dependency progress. At the end of the theoretical part of this work you will find way of prevention and the official Czech Republic anti-drug strategy. This work is highlighting that drugs are very serious global problem of our today's world, and warning against the dangerous way of underestimation of drug abuse across all society. Strategic Trade Policy in Defence and Security Industry

The master thesis is devoted to a nontraditional, however, in the todays world to a very current topic, arms industry and its support. The thesis connects the theoretical concept of the strategic trade policy (defined by P. Krugman or J. Brander) to its practical interpretation and application in the defence and security industry. The first chapter explains the strategic trade policy using the Brander Spencer analysis. The topic of the second chapter is strategic industries and this chapter answers the question whether the defence and security industry is a strategic industry or not. The third chapter analyses the possibilities of the support of DSI and compares approaches of different EU member states. The last chapter is devoted to the solution of this problem. The main contribution of this thesis is a new interpretation of the strategic trade policy, analysis of the importance of the defence and security industry and its support and suggestion of practical measures for Czech companies and for the Czech Ministry of Defence.

Employer branding in Building Industry

The Master's Thesis is focused on a modern trend in human resource management, employer branding, analysed as a general image of a company as employer, its working conditions and a preference of this company as a stable employer. The main goal is to review the range and relevance of employer branding within Czech building industry based on existing company and comparison with its competition. The first part describes theoretical definitions of employer branding and its instruments. The second part presents the empirical research done in Metrostav a.s., comparison with its competition and a questionnaire between civil engineering students and construction apprentices that was focused on their expectations of future employment in the building industry. In the end of the thesis the research is evaluated and the improvements that would lead to empowerment of employer brand are suggested.
