The objective of the thesis was to recognize the effects of maltreatment, abuse and neglect in childhood in the girls living in the Educational Institution in Jindřichův Hradec. The second objective was to identify what subjective needs we can see in girls suffering from CAN syndrome who were put in the Educational Institution in Jindřichův Hradec. The quelitative survey carried out in connection with the topic in question used the theory anchored in deasing. The method employed in collecting data involved interrorgations using the technique of semi-structured interview. Qualitative content analysis was selected as the method for data processing. The research target group comprised of 10 girls who had been subject to maltreatment, abuse and neglect in their childhoods and who have been assigned to live in the Educational Institution in Jindřichův Hradec. The outcome of the survey schows that the selected girls who were subject to abuse in their childhoods suffer from depressions, apprehensions, anxieties, and embarrassment. Commonly , they schow low self-esteem and no trust in themselves and people around. Other frequent consequences of CAN (child abuse and neglect) syndrome, which the girls mentioned in the guided interviews, include experiments with addictive substances, aggression, and self-aggression. Current needs that the girls quoted most frequently included: need for family, partner, freedom, but also continuous attention of another person. The survey suggests that the girls have an unsatisfied need for harmony, understanding and love. The results of the survey may be used while completing individual plans of care for the girls assigned to the Educational Institute in Jindřichův Hradec. The thesis might serve as an inspiration for those who work with developmentally traumatized children and youth for special educators and other specialists working in other institutions around the Czech Republic.

The man who succeeded in overcoming barriers of his middle class origin and making himself an indispensable advisor to top representatives of the Czech Kingdom and even Emperor Ferdinand II and to manage elevation to Imperial Earldom towards the end of his life. Michna, a butcher's son from Budyně nad Ohří, became thanks to patronage of the High Chancellor of the Czech Kingdom Zdeněk Vojtěch Popel z Lobkovic in the early part of the 17th century the Czech Kingdom Court Office Secretary and reinforced a group of catholic militants who gradually started to exploit the Czech Kingdom Court Office for the benefit of their own influence at the expense of Protestant majority. Even though Michna had signed the Imperial Charter of Rudolf II that guaranteed all subjects in the Kingdom freedom of worship, he alone prosecuted Protestants during his office period in the Czech Kingdom Court Office and was aiming to restrict their rights. Theatre and iIlusion
Bartoš, Zdeněk ; Císař, Jan (advisor) ; Hyvnar, Jan (referee) ; Porubjak, Martin (referee)
The thesis explores different meanings of the illusion in theatrical context in the past and searches how to define this effect. It compares definitions in classic resources (Fureti?re, Marmontel, D?Aubignac, Stendhal, Hugo etc.) as well as in contemporary dictionaries (Pavis, Corvin) and asks a question if an illusion as a false appearance of reality (in so far the spectator forgets he is in the theatre or takes the watched performance or its part for a real event) is possible. The study affirms such an illusion is excluded in essence, except for occurrences when the theatre-goer is unable to distinguish between the intentional and unintentional potency included in the artwork (according to Mukařovský) or between the technical and image aspect of the work (according to Zich) or he does not discern a model from the original (according to Osolsobě), i.e. he does not identify the theatre as such. Author quotes some concrete (feinted or real) examples of an irruption of ?extra-theatrical reality? into a running show. Main part is consecrated to the analysis of the illusion as in-play (i-llusio), i.e. creation of a ?ludic reality?, framework of a game which theatre-goers may join. Author considers this playful, ludic aspect, contained in the root of the word ?illusion?, as the most important and vital thing related to matters of the theatre illusion. It is necessary to think over possibilities how to involve spectators in such a game (play) and consequences of these attempts. Effects of theatralisation, once considered as anti-illusive effects, are very close to it (today we can look at them as on a small part of rich theatrical conventions).

Pohlová, Světlana ; Nováková, Jitka (advisor) ; Marešová, Jana (referee) ; Stejskalová, Veronika (referee)
Newborns with very low birth weight ( under 1500g ) are at high risk of developing perinatal complications. These complications can significantly influence the quality of life of not only the children themselves but also their families. The goal of this work was to discover the ways in which families were forced to change their lifestyle and their family organization, and also whether the relationship between the parents in any way changed due to the care that such children often require. The theoretical part of this work is dedicated to the quality of life for the children, a summary of the most serious consequences of perinatal impairment and ethical problems in neonatology. In the reserch part, questionnaires which investigated family situations and the quality of life for children were sent to families and the results were evaluated.
