Canistherapy and Hypotherapy As the Treatment Method on the Handicapped People

The work describes two zootherapy alternatives - canistherapy and hypotherapy. At first; on the theoretical level intents on course of the therapy, on the selection of the suitable animals and on the choice of the experienced therapeuts. Canistherapy and hypotherapy take advantage of the children, of the handicapped people and the seniors. On basis of practical experience is described the course and the advantage of this therapy with children who suffer from Cerebral palsy. The work treats of problems of partnerships and sexuality mentally affected people in Czech republic and of problems that consequently for their ascort men. In theoretic part the work describes status in this section, physiological and mental findings of people with mentally affected. It does its best afflict even spiritual reason lust for approximation. In practical part the work devotes to four concrete ease of partnership and posibilities that voted the people who escort them in Hospice for handicapped people. In fine the work features on what limit must the person who handicapped people keep the maximum their freedom and in so doing to prove learn live these men in partnership. The People with the Mental Impairment in the Role of Parents

My bachelor thesis is called "People with a mental impairment in the role of parents ". This work is divided into two parts. In the first part I describe the term mental retardation, its history and division. This problem has connection with human rights, particularly the right to marriage and the right to have children. I write about the social support for people with mental retardation before the childbirth and after the birth. I describe sexual competences according to the level of mental impairment and the problems in partner relations. I give suggestions how to prepare for the time of pregnancy, childbirth and care for the child. Some possibilities of living in the sheltered or supported housing are offered here. In the practical part of my bachelor thesis I try to find out the attitudes of people working with adults with a mental impairment. Should these people have babies? Psychosis and school reality, how to learn with psychosis

The subject of this thesis is difficulties with return to studies and the strategies of coping these situations of young people with serious mental illness. The theoretical part introduces the issue schizophrenia. It describes the difficulties and the deficits that arise in the person's life due to the illness. In detail, I explain the coping strategies of these people, the concept of early prevention and therapy of mentall illness and the international examples of supported education of people with schizophrenia. The practical part consists of five case studies of young people with psychosis who decided to return to their school life. The main issue of interest is finding the difficulties, that can appear in the process of the return, and especially tracking the strategies of coping the sdifficulties. As following, there is a wider picture of coping strategies discussed, the similarities and differences between the strategies of these five people explored and described strategies are related to the individual's studying success. Title: Motivation of Special Olympics athletes for participating and leaving the Special Olympics Program in the Czech Republic Student: Bc. Radka Příhodová Advisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, PhD. Objectives: The main objective of this project is to explore motivation of Special Olympics athletes for participation in Special Olympics Program in the Czech Republic and the reasons why some of the athletes leave the program. A secondary objective is to learn more about Special Olympics coaches, athletes and their families, and to receive further details about coaches' and families perception ofthe Special Olympics Program. Methods: The thesis is divided up into two sections: theoretical and the results. The theoretical section introduces the subject of mental handicap, different views of the term, the classification of the handicap and its etiology. With regard to common occurrence of Down syndrome among the population of people with mental retardation one chapter presents this chromosomal disorder. Mapping the Possibilities of Dílny Tvořivosti Development

My bachelor's dissertation is mainly focused on mapping the possibilities of implementing activities in the field of employment support for handicapped people in the small region of Opočensko, which is situated in the Královéhradecký region. I analyze current needs of handicapped people expressed through other social and educational service providers and also the state of the local social service market. I map the state of community and strategic planning of the towns Dobruška, Nové Město nad Metují, Opočno and the Královéhradecký region. The summary of its present progress and outputs concerning mainly the state and planned development of social services is further used for more specific definition of the activity of Dílny Tvořivosti nonprofit organization branch in the small region and for framing a draft of a proposed project directly addressing the local situation. In this way I have reached, as I firmly believe, a qualified decision that Dílny tvořivosti can offer its present experience in the field of supporting integration of people threatened with social exclusion and contribute to the solution of current issues of the region in this field. In the history the care of people with a mental health problems was going through a lot of changes. Most of the people were accepted as a part of a society. The family and a local community had been taken care of them. Only a small part of people with a mental health problems had been banished or kept in prison. With the beginning of a modern period the people with a mental illness have devoted and segregated in a large extent. The psychiatri and care for disordered people occured rapid developement in 20th century. In the 50's the psychiatric institution had been closing down in a many advanced countries. Institutional care was replaced with a out-patient and comunity care services. The main target of a community care is to help to the people with a mental illness so they can live in a naturally neighbourhood. The Great Britain has ranked among countries with a along tradition of community care. The broad range of services in the domain of living, employment and a leisure time arised here. The attitude to disordered people was also changed. In the Czech republic the community work set up to apply in 90's. Since the time the big progress was reached.
