Traffic Accidents and their Impact on Revenues and Expenditures of the Czech Republic.

The main aim of my thesis is the analysis of the traffic accidents and their cause on the roads of the Czech Republic.The first part of my thesis deals with the theoretical outcome of this matter which is necessary for further cover of my work.It is followed up with a practical part in which all statistic data, that had been used for the assessment of the situation,have been worked out.The methods the data have been coverd are the endorsement method, method of sequence and the method of respected sequence. In the frame of this thesis the comparison of the Czech Republic with a chosen EU state has been done. The secondary aim of my thesis is to find out the impact of the accidents on the revenues of the state budget, particularly of the problematic groups that cause the accidents on the roads.In the last part of my thesis there is a summary of all analysed results of the matter and subsequently safety measures for potential improvement of the situation have been done.

Statistical inspection

This work solving with the statistical inspection verification of big amounts of products imported to Czech Republic. Work it self is designed as general handbook and it will be possible to use it on other products then the model one. This work was elaborated with company which is importing screws for wood industry. We used common standards to define quality requirements of verificated products, and to design statistical inspection plans. The goal of this work is technical and economical evaluation of designed method, which was used on model product.

Organic agriculture and consumption of organic foodstuffs in the Czech Republic

The master thesis deals with the organic farming and the organic food consumption, not only within the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the master thesis, characterizes this dynamically developing industry, subsidy policy, legislative page and describes each of the production and non-productive functions of organic farming. It also presents the action plan for the following years, in which the sector should take. On approaching the definition of the concept of organic foodstuff, its specifics, the essentials of marking, control system and forms of sale. Finally, it deals with comparison of nutritional values of organic food and conventional food and also organic food consumption itself on the domestic market, with a forecast for the next years. Filling the empirical part is a statistical comparison and analysis of time series of organic farming, to which are added the individual predictions for the following four years. Furthermore, the practical part, respectively the consumption of organic food, supplements the statistical analysis of data obtained from an anonymous questionnaire survey concerning the preferences of consumers in matters of purchasing and consumption of organic food. Conclusion of the work is devoted to a summary of the data from the questionnaire investigation and proposing recommendations for organic farming and the Czech organic food market.

The thesis describes the history, structure and function of Eurostat in the European Union. Furthermore, it deals with the Eurostat database and maps the field for which the European statistical data are publicly available. It also discusses the topic of population and its health conditions in more depth and based on the data obtained from the Eurostat it examines the position of the Czech Republic within the European Union.

The development of the crime on credits in the South Bohemia before 2014

The aim of this study is to analyze the development of committing a credit fraud offence under § 211 of the Act. no. 40/2009 Coll., the Penal Code (particularly the development of this crime and the development of the amount of the damage) and consequent comparing the selected macroeconomic indicators development in the period 2005-2014 in the region of South Bohemia. In this work secondary data analysis methods were used. Statistical data obtained from the South Bohemian branch of the Czech Statistical Office and statistical data from Crime Police of the Czech Republic was used as the source. The data evaluating the amount of detected cases of this crime committed by the offenders in the Region South Bohemia, according to the region where the fraud was commited, was analyzed. The analyzed file was 5,713 offenses and 4,219 offenders. The defined set was divided into seven parts (districts), according to the local jurisdiction of the territorial departments of the Czech Police. The observed data was compared with selected macroeconomic indicators. From the results it can be concluded that the highest rate of loan fraud offence (calculated per 1,000 inhabitants) is in the district Stra-konice. Conversely, the lowest crime in the same period is in the district Jindřichův Hradec. This work also re-vealed that the development of macroeconomic indicators has no effect on the development of this crime. In conclusion, it is recommended to promote economic education at primary and secondary schools, thus improving the financial literacy of the population. Furthermore, we can recommend the consistent use of, the Central Credit Register, which is already available, as well as supporting of changes in the legislation, so that the providers have an obligation to investigate the credit applicants more and make the offenders of this crime discouraged by higher penalties imposed for credit fraud.

Statistical analysis of the index of economic freedom

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to statistically analyze the relationship between economic freedom index issued by Canadian Fraser Institute and the Index of Economic Freedom published by the Heritage Foundation in conjunction with The Wall Street Journal. Stated goal we try to achieve by means of statistical methods of data analysis. The first part shows the theoretical background of the both indexes of economic freedom and their input parameters. In the second part we try to statistically analyze the relationships between them and interpret their results. Also we look at the evolution of the economic freedom index for the Czech Republic and neighboring countries, Poland, Germany, Austria and Slovakia.This thesis would point on different results in the two indexes above, although both are trying to quantify the same socio-economic phenomenon. In conclusion, we show results, that we achieved and their possible interpretation.

Statistical analysis of selected wage level indicators in regions of the Czech Republic

The thesis describes the development of selected wage indicators in regions of the Czech Republic in the period 2002-2014 and predicts the future development of these indicators for the next three years. Subsequently thesis classifies individual regions into clusters based on similarity in terms of wage indicators and selected labour indicators and then compares these clusters within two years - 2002 and 2014. Foundations are taken from the website of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and Public database of Czech Statistical Office. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part and contains eight chapters. The theoretical part explains terms of remuneration of workers, describes the selected indicators, regions and used methods. In the practical part is applied time series analysis, principal component analysis and cluster analysis. The results of the analyses are summarized in the conclusion of the thesis.

Real Estate Market of Russia

The aim of the thesis Real Estate Market of Russia is to analyze the real estate market in the Russian Federation with a deeper exploration activities of foreign investors in the Russian real estate market. Thesis theme is very topical and interesting, because among other things, examines the impact of the financial and economic crisis on the real estate market and changes in the interests of foreign investors in the Russian investment projects in real estate and interests of Russian companies abroad. Currently, the real estate market in the Russian Federation is developing very dynamically, it can be said that over the years of crisis and financial instability signed on aggregate supply and demand for real estate in Russia very little. However, at the moment it is merely a statement - proof of this statement is to provide this thesis. The thesis analyzes not only the interest of foreign investors in the real estate market of Russia, but also the interest of Russian investors in the Czech real estate market. Already in the nineties of the twentieth century has seen a significant interest of Russian citizens on housing and commercial real estate in the Czech Republic. It is interesting to explore whether this interest persists to this day and the extent to which the Czech real estate owned by Russian citizens or legal entities whose members are Russian citizens. Another objective of this thesis is to evaluate the real estate market in Russia, with a focus on international development company. This objective will be gradually implemented through the analysis of the current real estate market and evaluate the activities of foreign investors of their share of development projects. The operational objective of the thesis is to evaluate the interests of the citizens of the Russian Federation on real estate in foreign countries (for example, the Czech Republic). Czech Republic was chosen as analyzed state due to good orientation of the author of the thesis in the Czech environment and find out the appropriate options detailed information about the problem. Sub-objectives will be achieved through a detailed analysis of the statistical data of the Czech Statistical Office and also the author's own analysis carried out "in the field". The main hypothesis of this thesis is the claim that the interest of foreign developers in the Russian real estate market is increasing. During the meeting the objectives of the thesis should be stated hypothesis to prove or disprove. The methodological basis of the thesis will consist primarily statistical analysis of data from the Czech Statistical Office and the Russian Federal Statistics Service, as well as data from the media and Russian companies. After selecting the appropriate data and information to analyze existing and ongoing development of real estate markets. Another method used in this thesis, the method of synthesis. With the synthesis of the work will examine the influence of individual factors (financial crisis, negative fluctuations in the economy of Russia, migration processes in Russia) on the real estate market of Russia. In the context of the activities of Russian citizens in the real estate market in the Czech Republic to examine the impact of the liberalization of laws and overall trends in immigration and migration policy of the Czech Republic in question increased interest of Russian investors in real estate projects. The work is logically divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on general characterization of the terms used in the thesis and their relationships. The theoretical part is to explain the main factors affecting the price of real estate and its variations. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the description and analysis of the current state of the property market in Russia and the Czech Republic. Among other things, describes the current development and privatization processes in Russia in 1990 - 2000. These analyzes and research are part of the practical part.
