Description of the older school age boys dental injuries in České Budějovice region and proposal of the health education materials.
TOBOLKOVÁ, Andrea
Thesis deals with the problem of the older school age boys dental injuries in České Budějovice region. The injury means: ?sudden damage of the health by effect of external factors which exceed adaptation options of the human body?. In the sphere of dental injuries the children is the most jeopardized group of population. The most often reason for the children injuries is their imperfect stability. In case of older children and young people there are injuries mostly caused by sport. Teoretical part of my thesis is focused on definition of older school age as well as on anatomy and teeth physiology. The part of thesis also is the enumeration of dental injuries and its treatment. I also mention prosthetic dentistry and the influence of accidents on individual physical and mental health. At the end of teoretical part there is mentioned process of the injured examination, posttraumatic dental hygiene and patient nutrition after teeth accident. Research part finds with the help of questionnaire survey the kinds of dental accidents, circumstances of injuries formation and the influence of accidents on individual physical and mental health in specific age category. The questionnaire survey was evaluated and processed in grafical part of thesis. The part of thesis also is health and educational material which helps to rise the quality of dental hygiene and also contributes to the prevention of dental accidents formation of second degree students at primary schools.

Sustainable tourism development of Vysocina Region
Veselá, Markéta ; Macháček, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vondráková, Zuzana (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the topic of sustainable tourism development at the regional level. This phenomenon is elaborated on the example of Vysocina Region. To evaluate sustainability of its development, the potential of this touristic destination is researched regarding various areas, including key products. These are subjected to comparisons with recommendations of significant tourism organization for the purpose of assessing the sustainability of tourism. The diploma thesis also includes a comparison with other Czech regions experience as a touristic destination. Vysocina Region has favourable initial conditions for its sustainable development, especially regarding supply of key products, which include both environmentally friendly goods and cultural attractiveness contributing to the personal development of individuals and promoting intercultural tolerance. The main issue appears to be the spatial imbalance of its development in the region, caused mainly by the concentration of tourist activities to certain areas and low local initiative in the less attractive areas. The diploma thesis proposes a number of solutions, such as utilization of geocaching and products of gastroturism, supporting the foundation of local destination management organisations, promoting cycling tourism and the foundation of highly visited tourist destinations.

Expected development of Business Intelligence applications in the coming years
Aschmann, Jakub ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Fortinová, Jana (referee)
This thesis focuses on the development of Business Intelligence applications. The main area is the potential development in the coming years, history of business intelligence and individual components. To acquire the necessary knowledge, I studied educational materials and electronic publications. In Chapter 3 I focus on the definition of BI, in the following chapter I analyse individual components and the last chapter is dedicated to the development in the future. This thesis will provide comprehensive knowledge and trends in business intelligence to readers who are interested in this area and are looking for complex information.

Deposition of Titania from Solution by Hybrid Water-Stabilized Plasma Torch
Mušálek, Radek ; Medřický, Jan ; Tesař, Tomáš ; Kotlan, Jiří ; Lukáč, František
Thermal spraying with liquid feedstock presents a novel route for deposition of functional coatings. In this study, possibility of preparation of titania coatings from solution by hybrid water stabilized plasma torch is presented. Coatings were prepared from solution of titanium isopropoxide Ti[OCH(CH3)2]4 in anhydrous ethanol. Fragmentation of feedstock stream in the plasma jet was monitored by shadowgraphy. Deposition was carried out on steel samples mounted to the cooled rotating carousel. Cross-sectional images from SEM microscope showed successful formation of the deposit with dual morphology consisting of fine feather-like features combined with bigger droplets. X-ray diffraction revealed formation of nanometric rutile crystallites.

Cutting experiments with ASJ at 1500 bar
Zeleňák, Michal ; Foldyna, Josef ; Souček, Kamil ; Klichová, Dagmar
The aim of experimental work was to determine cutting condition maximal, middle and fine traverse speeds for selected materials and thicknesses. Materials were cut at pressure 1500 bars and 10% of suspension concentration. Secondary objective is long-term monitoring of nozzles wear using X – Ray CT tomography.

Basic documents for revitalisation of the historical garden of the chateau in Benátky nad Jizerou, Czech Republic
Veselá, Anna ; Vaněk, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to collect materials and documents about historical garden of chateau Benátky nad Jizerou and analyse the current overall condititon of the garden and trees in it. The second goal is documentation of past revitalisations of the French formal garden and collection of materials for future revitalization of the French formal garden and the English landscape garden as well. The thesis can be used for future revitalization of the English landscape garden.

Natural houses in gardens
Formánková, Kristýna ; Kunt, Miroslav (advisor)
Thesis discusses natural houses which are supposed to be part of our lives in the future. These houses may be for someone and they might prefer smarter building with non-recyclable materials when choosing a new housing. But it is necessary to think about our future and sustainable development. We also need to tell ourselves what is really a priority for our planet. There comes a time when they will prefer building materials which can be used somehow after some time or be recycled. This is related to the design of the garden. It is designed to fulfil an ornamental, economic and social function. The garden is an integral part of each house, therefore it is important for each element used to be creating the garden as a linked harmonious whole. The study deals with the concept of a natural houses home in accordance with the maximum use of the garden.

Vývoj metodologické a technologické platformy pro neinvazivní odhad fenolických látek v listech a bobulích
ŠEBELA, David
Plant optical signals can serve as important source of information about biochemical and physiological processes in plants. These signals are influenced by compounds synthesized by plants during primary or secondary metabolism and thus, can also serve as their qualitative and quantitative indicators. Light reaching plant surface (leaf or fruit) can undergo three main pathways- it can be (i) reflected, (ii) absorbed or it can (iii) transmit through plant material. The probability of these three processes depends on particular wavelength of incident irradiation and on the morphological characteristics of plant tissues themselves. As such, plant contains various spectrum of photosynthetic pigments and fluorescent compounds which can either reflect, absorb or pass incident irradiation through at specific wavelengths. Biophysical techniques working with these optical properties of plant pigments and/or other compounds have become universal and common tool in basic and applied research. To quote some example, chlorophyll fluorescence imaging, UV induced fluorescence or spectroscopic techniques are on the top of interest thanks to its non-invasive nature, allowing maintain the integrity of measured cells or the whole plant constituents. The main aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive study on the possibility of non-invasive monitoring of phenolic compounds in the leaves and fruits.
