Dependence of Sludge Thermal Pre-treatment on its Dewatering
Žerava, Zdeněk ; Houdková, Lucie (referee) ; Boráň, Jaroslav (advisor)
The first part of the thesis is focused on the problems related to sludge and evaluates sludge disposal from waste treatment plants. The thesis mentions factors influencing method selection of sludge disposal as well as it compares sludge disposal in the Czech Republic and in the other states of the EU. It describes a complete waste treatment line and sludge disposal in the area of sludge treatment and disposal. It deals with sludge disintegration and describes the most effective methods of disintegration. The second part of the thesis describes an experimental part of disintegration of waste treatment sludge. An experiment was conducted in the school laboratory in a way of thermal disintegration in the double-surface pressure tank. The disintegration was conducted to temperatures of 60 °C, 90 °C, 120 °C, 150 °C, and 180 °C. We monitored dependence of the sludge dry residue content on disintegration temperature as well as content of suspended solids in liquid fraction (FUGAT). It was possible to choose optimal temperature of disintegration in accordance with processed results.

Study of combined climatic influences and hydrophobization effects on sandstone pinnacles from the Santa Barbara church in Kutná Hora
Drdácký, Miloš ; Lesák, Jaroslav ; Slížková, Zuzana ; Pospíšil, Stanislav ; Delpech, P.
The report summarizes results of the first part experiments in the Jules Verne climatic wind tunnel CSTB in Nantes. It presents diagrams of temperature and moisture changes measured on both the exterior surface and inside historic sandstone pinnacles from the church of Santa Barbara in Kutná Hora at different combinations of climatic loads with changing temperature, rain and wind velocity characteristics. Thermography has been applied for surface temperature measurements. During the tests the hydrophobization effect was studied, too.

Psychology of happiness
Marková, Kateřina ; Uhlář, Pavel (referee) ; Bahbouh, Radvan (advisor)
In theoretical part of this thesis the aim is to define the concept of happiness with its broader consequences. As the basic frame for following reasoning is chosen the assumption of an emotional basis of happiness therefore the concept of emotion is discussed in detail. Besides the basic approach to happiness the fundamental historic view follows including religion, philosophy and psychology. After that happiness is defined in detail followed by differential definition, folk concept of happiness and broader partition. In this thesis the interest also focuses on biological, social, psychological and spiritual aspects of happiness, which are discussed in detail. For a summary the factors influencing happiness are recapped in a special chapter. The interest also focuses on happiness from developmental view. As the imaginary height of the whole theoretical part are considered the chapters about the effects of happiness, meaning and positive strategies with the special regard on the consequences, an inner source and the possibilities of improving happiness. In the empirical part of this thesis the aim is creating the grounded theory of happiness based on qualitative methodology. This theory expresses the specific categories with their relationships as occurring in individual interviews and offers the...

Hydrodynamic mixing of water-ask mixture in vessel
Holub, Přemysl ; Franc, Zdeněk (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
Master´s thesis Hydrodynamic mixing of water-ash mixture in vessel is interested in describing fluid and solid particles flow in a vessel. The mixing was conducted in cylindrical vessel by a radial nozzle. The goal of the thesis is to describe flow field and places where the most of the particles are descending according to position, depth, flow rate and nozzle orientation in the vessel. An experiment was conducted in order to investigate and document 8 different positions and orientation of the nozzle. Significant changes in flow fields and mixing time were observed. A mathematical model of the vessel with the nozzle was created in Fluent program. Places with the lowest velocities according to the model were in good agreement with places where the most of the solid particles were descending.

Simulated chemical accident associated with the release of phosgene
NOVÁK, Jan
The thesis entitled "Simulated Chemical Accident Associated with Phosgene Leak" focuses on the issue of disasters in general and specifically on chemical disasters associated with leakage of dangerous chemicals. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into four subchapters. The first subchapter deals with accidents in general, and the classification thereof into natural and anthropogenic contingencies. The subject of the second chapter deals with specification of accidents that occur in the chemical industry. A special focus is given to causes of chemical accidents, among which there are anthropogenic (human factor) and technical causes as well as working conditions and organization of work. As regards classification, chemical accidents are divided into chemical accidents associated with leakage of dangerous chemicals, further accidents with leakage of radioactive substances and those involving oil leaks. With regard to the topic of the thesis, the third subchapter specifically focuses on characteristics of chemical accidents associated with leakage of dangerous chemicals. This is the key part of the theoretical basis of the thesis. The subchapter deals with causes, classification, development, characteristic effects and consequences of such accidents. Factors are also mentioned that affect the spread in the environment of dangerous chemicals leaked as the result of chemical accidents depending on a number of conditions. The fourth subchapter is linked to the preceding chapter in that it provides a brief characteristic of dangerous chemicals. A special focus is given to a comprehensive specification of phosgene. The core of the practical part of the thesis lies in the implementation of research consisting in simulation or modelling of a chemical accident associated with leakage of a selected chemical from a particular chemical plant. For the purpose of modelling phosgene was selected as the dangerous chemical. The company Synthesia, a. s. located in Pardubice, was chosen as the chemical plant in question. The practical part of the thesis aimed at modelling a chemical disaster associated with phosgene leak at Synthesia, a. s. The software tool TerEx, version 2.9.1. was used for simulation. Using this computer program a total of ten contingency scenarios were prepared involving phosgene leaks of different quantities as consequence of a chemical accident at Synthesia, a. s. Another aim of the practical part of the thesis was to assess risks following from the chemical accident. This assessment was made on the basis of the results of the TerEx program in the form of toxic exposure, recommended examination of toxic phosgene concentration within certain distance from the place of leakage, areas of necessary evacuation of the population, and last but not least time dependence of phosgene concentration and accumulated dose within distances of necessary evacuation of the population. The third and also the last aim of the practical part of the thesis was to assess impacts of this potential chemical accident on the health or lives of the population. The results of the modelled chemical accidents involving phosgene leak from Synthesia, a. s. showed that this contingency would especially impact health but not lives of the population. The phosgene concentrations showed only threshold levels (from 10 to 20 mg/m3) that would cause irritation of the eyes and the upper respiratory tract / nasopharynx. Even though the results of the research showed that no serious impacts on the health of the population should occur, the worst possible contingency scenario should always be considered in the event of such chemical accident.

Results shows low justness ofmonitoring heart-rate during this exercise and hight mean ofload recording and enhance training beat. Key words: Sporttester, Lift it, heart rate, exquisiteness ofweighting, mood, fitness, heart- rate zone.

Social economy in Czech republic and its' implementation in projects of CIP EQUAL
Šimková, Marie ; Dohnalová, Marie (advisor) ; Šloufová, Romana (referee)
The thesis deals with the concept of social economy and its practical implementation in the Czech Republic. Not only does it describe the current situation of social economy and social economic subjects in the European Union, but it also deals with the introduction of the concept in the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis is concerned with the NAPSI documents and the CIP EQUAL programme. Examples of social economy in practice are shown, and the analysis of these projects provides suggestions for the further development of the concept in the Czech Republic.
