Euroregions in the Czech Republic and Their Partial Geographical Analysis

This article deals with the issue of the cross-border co-operation in the euroregions in the Czech Republic. It is especially focused on the characteristics of development in agriculture, industry, tourism and environmental protection in the euroregional areas, which were defined according the map of Centre for Regional Development Czech Republic from February 2003. The article includes a few cartograms, which could be useful by comparison of situation in the different euroregional areas.

Řízení lidí v multikulturním prostředí

The main objective of the thesis was to define and analyze key aspects of managerial work in multicultural environment, in one of the Shared Services Center department, of multinational company based in Prague, Czech Republic. Further thesis aimed to define essential competencies of the successful manager and leader driving performance of multicultural department and provides recommendations to improve managerial performance in key aspects of manager s work such as communication, motivation, performance management and cross-cultural leadership. It is argued that presence of intercultural interactions between managers and their subordinates, impacts effectiveness of the managerial performance. Thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. First part of the thesis explores theoretical concepts regarding culture, communication, motivation and leadership with respect to multicultural environment specifics. In the second part, used research methods, conducted research analysis and outcomes are presented. Further in practical part recommendation towards analyzed aspects of managerial work that would lead to higher overall department performance are defined.

The dissertation thesis Splendor curiae regis. Life and culture in the court oj the last Přemyslid is dedicated to a study of the sovereigns' court of the second half of thirteenth and beginning of fourteenth century. The author' s effort is focused on the royal court, and the regnal period, of Wenceslas II, king of Bohemia and Poland (1278/1283 - 1305). The text inc1udes reference to parallels crossing the borders of this chronological framework both into the earlier and into the later time periods. The royal court constitutes a target of study as one of the most important institutions of the medieval period, as its centralizing influence permeated all society. The court represented the place where politi cal decisions were taken, the supreme instance of power and representation. Much in the same manner, the court constituted a centre and vanguard of courtly chivalric culture, bursting into a full bloom in this very time. The texť s seven chapters include, first and foremost, an analysis of sources and specialized literature and presentation of the author' s methodical approach (Chapters 1-2). The major results are presented in Chapters 3-8. The subject of this thesis is a suggestion on mechanism for automatic interfacing of boring and facing heads with CNC U-axis on horizontal machining centres made in Tajmac-ZPS company. The thesis is terminated in modal analysis which is done in the point of view of the constructed boring head´s behaviour.

Design of hydrogen pressure tank installation on the VUT 001 Marabu wing

The content of this Master thesis to design installation of hydrogen pressure tanks for airplane VUT RAY 051. Survey was conducted of the available fuel cell on the market. Position of the tank was chosen over the wing using components for mounting a jet engine TJ100 M for aircraft VUT 001 MARABU. For fuel tanks were designed fairings. Further was calculated mass and centre of gravity analysis of aircraft, basic flight performance of aircraft and the drag variation in the location of the tanks above the wing. Further the strain and strength of hinges was calculated.

The Master of the Hradec Králové Altarpiece

ENGLISH ABSTRACT: In a war of Hussites the Prague art activity was going to her disappearace or was pushed away to the countryside where succumbed in a certain way become popular. Desk painting in the Czech territory was after the Hussites was adjusted almost to its disappearence. Contrary of the south part of Czech Kingdom, which were as regards Hussites not jotted and the production of painting could continue in her making and already in the third decade of fiftenth century got quality late gothic style in the Master of Rajhrad altar with its Austrian signs. In fourth decade happened sudden step back to the past to "krásný sloh" to reiteration its marks, renewal devotio and Marian painting diferent ikonography types. The same was as in the middle Bohemia, the territory in the east of Bohemia was signed with Hussites war too. Chrudim in that time became late-gothic-style centre and with its production of paintings could compete with Prague. Unlike the memories for examples Kutná Hora, Chrudim was characterized by unity of style, which was determinated by activity of this manufactory and it can be derive from extanded quantity of pieces. Its production subordinate to influences from german Köln am der Main and Master of the Mary's Life. gothic style - altar - wood painting - Master - style of painting...

Contributions of Czech Centres with a focus on the promotion of export activities - the example of Belgium

The objective of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the contributions of Czech Centres with a focus on promotion of export activities and to suggest possible strategies for the improvement. More detailed analysis is specialized on Czech Centre in Brussels. At first, the theoretical basis of Czech Centres is defined together with their administrative and organizational structure, funding and target groups. Then, the activities of Czech Centres are analysed with a focus on promotion of export activities. That analysis includes detailed focus on the contribution of website www.export.cz - its existence was initiated by Czech Centre. Further activities of Czech Centres are evaluated through SWOT analysis and the Strategy for 2012 - 2015. In conclusion, the thesis focuses on the activities of Czech Centre in Brussels with the concentration on promotion of export activities together with the specific strategic proposals to improve its promotion of export policy.

Cultural capital of Bratislava and its influence on tourism

This thesis is analyzing culture and tourism in Bratislava, which has already became tourist destination in the past and it has large potential to become a favourite destination due to its rich history, culture and nature. Firstly, there are given basic definitions for better orientation and understanding of this theme. Last part focuses on culture and tourism in Bratislava with a view to the city as a tourist destination. In thesis I focused on analysis of tourist infrastructure, competition, marketing and destination management. The part of the thesis is presenting the analysis of Bratislava culture and information centre, which is aimed to the city promotion.

SMED Analysis in a Manufacturing Company
