Methods for study of soil fungal communities - application on soils disturbed by outdoor cattle husbandry
Jirout, Jiří ; Elhottová, Dana
Fungal organisms comprise a physiologically and genetically diverse group of organisms with the key role in soil ecosystems. However, dynamics, structure, diversity and biomass of populations of soil fungi remain unclear and unknown. Conventional methods in microbiology provide only a glimpse view on the fungal diversity, but the last 15 years have brought many technological advances in community profiling and cultivation independent approaches to studying soil microorganisms. Changes in fungal diversity associated with agricultural management may affect the soil fertility and stability, but the effect of the agricultural practices on fungal complex community is still unclear. Conventional and modern methods in soil microbial ecology were used for study of microbial communities at the pasture used as a cattle overwintering area. Soil environment at this site is relevantly disturbed by cattle impact.

Sport Centre Královo Pole
Kostíková, Lenka ; Teplý, Vladimír (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Ladislav (advisor)
The theme of my project was design of facilities for Sport centre in Brno, Královo Pole. The plot is situated near the existing sport complex on the Vodova street. Part of the designed centre are 4 objects. The main building is the object with facilities for existing outdoor ice rink. There are changing rooms for visitors and offices for management of the centre. In another building there are cafe, shops and the facilities for the football stadium. Each object is accessible for wheelchair users. All objects are two-storey. Objects are connected by footbridge at the level of the 2nd floor. The footbridge is not only for wheelchair access to all buildings, but also like view point of the ice rink. The objects are designed as a frame construction made from steel profiles HEB. The shape of the building creates several equal blocks, which are differently assembled at each object. The footbridge is made from steel columns. The facades of all buildings are covered with larch wood.

Particle Size, Mass and Chemical Transitions from an Outdoor to Indoor Environment in Prague, Czech Republic with Attention to Nitrate
Talbot, Nicholas ; Kubelová, Lucie ; Makeš, Otakar ; Cusack, Michael ; Schwarz, Jaroslav ; Vodička, Petr ; Ondráček, Jakub ; Ždímal, Vladimír
As people spend most of their time indoors it’s important to understand how outdoor originating particulate can migrate indoors, their relative abundance indoors and how physico-chemical processes acting upon particulate can change the overall aerosol composition. Species volatility can complicate indoor data, change mass size distribution profiles, and implant artifacts on data measurements, enhancing uncertainty on results. This research describes the findings from high temporal resolution I/O, offline and online measurements, identifies outdoor aerosol loading dynamics and describes proportional compositions indoors relative to calculated I/O ratios.

Crane Runway of Container Transshipment in Moravský Krumlov
Robotka, David ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this paper is focuses on the design and to check of a supporting steel structure of an outdoor crane runway for an overhead crane for container manipulation. The structure is located in Moravský Krumlov. The crane with carrying capacity 50/12,5 t, hoisting class of appliance HC3 and claffication of fatigue actious s5 moves on a track. Total length of the runway is 50 m with span of the crane bridge 28,5 m of a total height 13 m above the terrain level. Crane runway beam of the main crane track consists of a welded single symmetric I profile, and is accompanied by trussed surge girder of crane runway beam. Spatial rigidity of the structure is provided by columns in a lateral direction, and by braking bracing in the longitudal direction. The columns are designed as a plate column, in the shape of double symmetric I profile. The load-carrying structures are made from a S355 steel grade, while the columns are made from a S235 steel grade.

Mathematical problems inspired by the nature
Králíková, Jana ; Šarounová, Alena (referee) ; Odvárko, Oldřich (advisor)
The diploma thesis consists of five exercises, which can be used within mathematical education at secondary schools. In these exercises students get involved with mathematical applications in ordinary life, which they can practically experience. A part of each exercise takes place outdoors, outside of the classroom. Objectives of the exercises are to display both mathematical and practical problems of the application. The topics of exercises are Tree height measuring, The measuring of unreachable distances, The altitude profile of a track, Cryptography and The Tower of Hanoi. I tried to make these exercises to solve real practical problems and to use the secondary school mathematics as much as possible at the same time. Students will use their knowledge in plane geometry, goniometry and trigonometry, functions and their graphs, sequences, series and proof by mathematical induction. Purposes of the exercises are to develop mathematical and logical thinking, to teach how to express the real situation in a mathematical way and to recognize mathematics in other fields of human activity.

Competency profile of Fitness Instructor
Peterová, Marta ; Janák, Vladimír (advisor) ; Procházka, Jan (referee)
Title: COMPETENCY PROFILE OF FITNESS INSTRUCTOR Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out competencies of fitness instructor and make a competency profile, containing competencies, which are important for excellent fitness instructor. Methods: I applied the method of interview and the method of research in my thesis. The interview was used to make a list of competencies of fitness instructor. The research was applied in the final part of making competency profile, for an attestation of explorative competency profile of fitness instructor. Results: The result of the thesis is competency profile, respectively a list of competencies, which distinguishes an excellent fitness instructor from an ordinary one. Keywords: competence, instructor, fitness, fitness centre
