Theoretical considerations on the liability of a sportsman in the Czech legal system (liability of a sportsman in collective sports)

Personality type based on Myers-Briggs type indicator
Hladníková, Nina ; Froněk, Jan (referee) ; Šnýdrová, Ivana (advisor)
Each individual is unique. Each of us is a product of heredity and environment. Big influence and impact on our personality has the family, culture, life situations and experience. The result is the difference from everyone else. Each person supposes that other people's minds function on the same principles. However very often, the people with whom we interact do not assess and perceive things in the way do or they are not interested in the same things. Their thinking functions differently. These differences create space for application and usage of personality type theories. With various perception patterns, opinions and views we meet in all areas of our life - in the family, school or working environment. To understand these differences we might be helped by the Personality Type based on Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®). MBTI makes it possible to identify why people act as they do, why they drawn other conclusions then we expect. Four dichotomies which give basis for creation of sixteen personality types are used by MBTI. In addition to understanding basic human behavior, we can use this type theory in other domains, e. g.: personal development, planning and career development, coaching, communication improvement, conflicts and problem-solving, teambuilding etc.

Economy of Chile in 1960s and 1970s with Accent on Market Reforms after 1973
Strejčková, Klára ; Pekárek, Štěpán (advisor) ; Ševčík, Miroslav (referee)
This bachelor thesis puts the stress on the analysis of economic reforms approved in Chile in the 60's and 70's years of the 20th century. The focus of this work is profoundly dedicated to the analysis of two important macroeconomic indicators: developments of inflation and trade exports, bearing in mind the context of the coup in 1973 which is seen as a direct consequence of the communist rule of the Salvador Allende's Cabinet (1970-1973). The Allende's Cabinet strove to transform the Chilean economic society into a socialist one. The bachelor thesis has validated a hypothesis stating that the pro-market reforms approved after 1973 led to diversification of the Chilean export as well as a gradual and progressive stabilization of the country's inflation that had reached as 350 % during the socialist Allende's government. This work brings a comparison of two very different economic doctrines that formed Chile in the 70's of the last century. There is being compared a socialist government approach, having focused on nationalizing of the private sector, to the liberal government's approach aimed at decreasing the public sector, privatization as well as tearing down international trade barriers.

Social impact of mental anorexy of child patient´s to a family.
ŠOUNOVÁ, Jitka
SOCIAL INPACT OF THE MENTAL ANOREXIA AFFECTING CHILDREN´S PATIENTS ON HE FAMILY In choosing the subject of my degree work I was influenced fundamentally by my experience gained during the department of children´s psychiatry. At thes very interesting work I had opportunity to become acquainted not only with various psychiatric diagnoses but with plenty of human fates in particular. The girls with plenty of human fates in particular. The girls wth mental anorexia were frequent patients of this department. During their long-term and often repeated hospitalization I met both the patients and the whole families. That´s why I could follow the development of the children affected like this and the impact of this illness on the family as well. The mental anorexia is a very grave and lingering illness belonging to the group of disorders in food ingestion. The consequences of this illness for he health can be of an persistent character and it is not exceptional that this illness is even fatal. The therapy is spite of all therapeutical possibilities, the modern psychiatry has at disposal. Therefore, the families of the patients have not only to get over the fear for the life and health of their members, but they have also to overcome longlasting psychological stress connected with the care of the person affected like this. This care can influence the running of the family fundamentally. It often happens that the family has to reduce the professional activities with respect to the exacting care. This can result in aggravation of the economic situation of the family. A considerable lowering of the living standard and the following crisis can take place in families with low incomes. Permanent psychological stress, deterioration of the economic situation and fair for the child can influence also the relations between individual members of the family. It is no exception that this stress has an adverse effect on the marriage of the parents, and that expecially in the case that the marriage was a problematic one as early as before the child fell ill.

Geopolitical position of Syria in the first half of the 20th century. The process of shaping Syria within its current borders in the context of rivalry between British and French imperialism and mutually conflicting ideologies of local separatism, Arab nationalism pan-Syrianism and pan-Arabism
Přebinda, Petr ; Gombár, Eduard (advisor) ; Mendel, Miloš (referee) ; Sorby, Karol (referee)
This survey deals with the geopolitical position of Syria in the first half of the 20th century and tries to find answers to the question why and how did today's Syria come to its existence. Since this state could be, to some extent, thought to be artificial, and its territory largely deformed, this works focuses on the process of territorial shaping of Syria in its current borders, which took place under rivalry of the British and French imperialism and antagonist ideologies of local separatism, Arab nationalism, pan-Syrianism and pan-Arabism. The time frame of this study is defined by the beginning of the 20th century and the end of the World War II which roughly coincides with the final stage ofthe French mandate over Syria and its admission to the United Nations. The survey consists of se ven chapters copying the time line of the S yrian history in the first half of the 20th century, with the exception of the first chapter, which deals with the definition of Syria and geographical Greater Syria and the delimitation of the contemporary borders in the area. Nex:t chapters are reflecting milestones of the contemporary history of Syria (i.e. the end of the Ottoman rule, the beginning and the end of the Syrian Kingdom of Emir Faisal, the Great Syrian Revolt, the French-Syrian Agreement of 1936 and others)....

Motion in Faulkner: An Analysis of Movement in The Sound and the Fury
Hesová, Petra ; Ulmanová, Hana (advisor) ; Matthews, John Thomas (referee)
The Gothic is an extremely viable mode in the history of American literature. As a genre concerned principally with distortions and aberrations, it provides a platform for writers to voice their concerns about periods of transformation and destabilized boundaries. William Faulkner, one of the leading authors of the American South, frequently employs the Gothic mode in his portrayals of the South as a traumatized region trying to cope with the echoes of the Civil War and with the disintegration of old aristocratic values, which manifests itself in the decay of institutions (such as the family) as well as a collapse of individual minds. This emphasis on the human psyche is evident especially in the novel The Sound and the Fury, whose main characters and narrators are representatives of the various extremities of the human psyche (severe mental retardation, suicidal tendencies, schizophrenia and paranoia). Faulkner's use of the Gothic mode is rather unorthodox and innovative, employing inversions and parody which can be appropriately demonstrated by the category of motion and his use of the traditional Gothic devices and character types. The traditional motion patterns - flight and pursuit, quest and purposeless wandering - that are originally connected predominantly with only one Gothic type (the...
