Volumetric model of human vocal folds
Vampola, T. ; Horáček, Jaromír
The article describes the vollumetric 3D FE model of real human vocal folds in a defined phonation position. The model was developed from the CT images of the plaster casts obtained by a special procedure during experiments with the excised human larynges, when the phonatioon caused by the airflow was suddenly stopped without changing the position of the fixed larynx. The model is determined for studies of dynamical stresses in the vocal fold tissue during vocal folds collisions.

Partynglová, Hana ; Koudelka, Jan (advisor) ; Zamazalová, Marcela (referee)
The aim of the work is to introduce the offer of private labels of selected chain stores and analyse the consumers' perception of the labels with the aid of a questionnaire survey. A range with private label includes all products sold by a store under its own label. The packaging is furnished with the name and logo of the distributor, meaning this marked product won't be found in another kind of store. Originally, there used to be only groceries and dring sold under private labels. However, nowadays, there are also private label drugstore commodities, domestic appliances, sports equipments and other products available. Private labels offer advantages as well as disadvantages to producers, sellers as well as consumers. Acoording to the price and quality we can devide the private labels into three categories -- economical, standard and special. The most developed market with private labels can be found in Switzerland, its market share reaches 53 percent. In the Czech republic this share amounts to about 35 percent, with private label goods being included into all chain stores' assortment. The foremost position is held by the Tesco company. The results of my questionnaire survey have shown that private label goods are bought by 85 percent of the respondents, the most important criteria for their purchase being the lower price range. On the other hand, the buyers' scepticism and lower quality of the goods work in disfavour of the purchase.

Hošková, Laura ; Maule, Petr (advisor) ; Lukášová, Tereza (referee)
The theoretical part of the Bachelor Thesis comprehensively illustrates the status and representation of persons with disabilities (PWD) on the current labour market in the Czech Republic. In a general manner, the Thesis looks at the employment policy as well; especially its legislative basis in the legal framework of the Czech Republic and selected EU countries. Furthermore, the legal obligations of employers of PWD and the possibilities of fulfilling the mandatory share of PWD employment are stated. Findings of two qualitative employment studies are presented showing that PWD enter the labour market equipped with specialized competencies, which they are willing to complete by retraining programmes in case of need. The employers perceive the employment of PWD mainly as a financial profit, granted to them by the state; and the legislative conditions are a sufficient incentive for them. The questionnaire survey pointed out that the weakness in the employment of PWD is the lack of part-time jobs, which are highly demanded among them. Therefore the Thesis presents a solution, which could be the creation of shared work positions.

Mrvová, Lucie ; Němec, Jan (advisor) ; Paulenková, Kristína (referee)
In many countries there are several political parties in power. In some of them, however, one party is in a position of hegemony. Other political parties are prevented to exercise their real power and often act only as a parties creating an illusion of democracy in a state where it does not exist. The present thesis deals with the hegemonic party systems in terms of their origin and subsequent transition. The thesis is based on the hypothesis that changing the rules of the hegemonic party will lead it to lose its status and power. As a case study of the hegemonic party regimes serves political system in Mexico, Mozambique and Cambodia. The first chapter defines the notion of a political party, party systems theory and transition mode. The second chapter deals with the hegemonic party systems. The third chapter deals with the case of Mexico and its system of hegemonic party. Findings refute the validity of the above hypothesis, since in many countries, even after the successful completion of the transition, earlier hegemonic parties maintain their power and their electoral support is high.
