Analysis of social services for seniors in the Czech Republic during the years 2007 - 2015

This thesis focuses on the theme of social services for the elderly and its development since 2007 to 2015. The goal is to describe the development of social services in the Czech Republic, in the regions of the Czech Republic and comparison between them. The Bachelor thesis also has the goal of informing about the current situation and future predictions. The theoretical part deals with the definition of social inclusion services within social policy. An integral part is the description of the basic forms of social services, social service providers and legislative and financial framework for social services in the Czech Republic. The method used in this part is the literature research focused on characteristics of social policies, particularly on social services. The empirical part follows information from theoretical part. The research is focused on the Czech Republic as a whole and then goes into exploring the specifics of individual regions and their comparison. Here, the methods used are: analysis of the existing system of social services and regional comparison. The data sources are mainly from Czech Statistical Office and Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The result of my investigation is the confirmation of the need for social services in the lives of seniors. The goal of this thesis is to highlight the current systemic shortcomings of providing and funding of social services, mainly because of increased number of seniors in Czech Republic.

The issue of church restitutions in Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue called church restitutions and the topic of the separation between churches and the state in the Czech Republic. Its main goal is to provide a comprehensive view on this controversial theme. The theoretical part provides basic definition of related concepts and contains a historical analysis of church property. The practical part consist of analysis of the Act. No. 428/2012 Coll. and highlights its strengths and weaknesses. It also contains some examples of contentious cases dealing with the return of church property. Based on this bachelor thesis we can say there is a many irregularities and critical points of adopted Act and we may find this topic very debatable.

Teaching the theme human parasites on grammar school.

Nowdays, when people travel all around the world and they can become infected with different parasites, teaching about human parasites shouldn't be neglected even in education on primary and grammar schools. In my work, I have mapped the basic knowledge of parasitology and human parasites of students from the selected primary schools and lower grades of grammar schools. For this purpose, I have created a test which examined the knowledge and attitude of the students. The work has also sought to propose a new approach to teaching of the subject in biology lessons. Two different teaching concepts were tested and compared in two paralel classes of the same grammar school. Presented representatives of human parasites, were chosen on the basis of analysis of biology textbooks for basic schools. Final suggestion of teaching at schools, which was teste dat three schools contains powerpoint presentations suitable for use in the lessons and practical exercise taken like didactical games.

Hooligan as an object of film analysis

Final thesis reflects the preproduction and production of thesis film with the topic of radical football fans. Work defines the theme of violence in the world of rowdies and film work with them. Further analyzes not only the history of football fans, but their categorization in terms of sociology and their impact on contemporary society. Work is devoted to the history of Czech cinema, working with the motif of the football world. The reasoning at the conclusion of the thesis reflects the impact of the films on this topic at the general audience and selected subculture.

Public Opinion Toward the Tissues and Organs Removal for Transplantation Purposes

The bachelor thesis 'Public Opinion Toward the Tissues and Organs Removal for Transplantation Purposes', as the title suggests, aims at examining the public opinion on the given topic. The objective of the paper was to research how the society perceives the removal of tissues and organs, as well as the level of public awareness in this field. The bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretic part is dealing with the current conditions of the tissues and organs removal for the purposes of transplantation. This part is divided into three main chapters. Main topics covered by the bachelor thesis are the medical, ethical and legal issues related to the tissues and organs removal. The aim of the practical part was to examine the public opinion on the removal of tissues and organs for the purposes of transplantation. Another objective was to find out whether the society is sufficiently informed about the issue, mainly from the legal point of view. Given the fact that the law 285/2002 Sb. (the transplant law), which has changed the field fundamentally, was introduced almost 12 years ago, I was interested whether the public has sufficient information on the principles of the assumed agreement with the organ and tissue removal. The two determined hypotheses were: Hypothesis 1. The public agrees with the removal of tissues and organs for the purposes of transplantation as a way of saving someone´s life. Hypothesis 2. The majority of respondents does not want to be registered in the National Register of Persons Refusing Posthumous Donation of Tissues and Organs (NROD).The thesis highlighted some issues concerning the removal of tissues and organs for the purpose of transplantation and examined opinions and the level of knowledge of the public in the health-related, ethical and legal matters.

The Public Procurement for the Supplies

The thesis deals with the theme of procurement of supplies in the Czech Republic from its beginnings to the present in the context of legal and economic developments. The current situation is analyzed on the basis of the Public Procurement Act, in connection with monitoring the preparation and adoption of new legislation. Legal issues will be extended by an overview of relevant laws and evaluate the problems in the formation of tender documents for the conclusion of framework agreements for the supply and reviewing compliance with the principles of the Act on financial control in public administration. Theme in the application of profiling on public procurement, focusing on a framework agreement designed to capture recurring delivery. The study is supplemented with practical experience in the field of public procurement for the conclusion of framework agreements, provides an analysis of the positive and negative aspects of this method of procurement, including proposed solutions. The practical part is elaborated on the basis of a comparison of the specific tender documents with the statutory legislation, qualitative research and secondary data analysis of tender documents for contracts to supply a valid framework contracts signed by the selected organization in the years 2012-2016.

At the same time his work also mention the European System of Central Banks and the Eurosystem, as an integral part of the management issues and implementing the policy of the European Union.

Motivation as a leadership

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of Motivation as a leadership. The
theoretical part describes the given issue and defines individual terms related to
management and motivation. The motivational theories of modern management and the
functioning of motivation in company practices are also included in this part. The practical
part comprises of my own research which consists of structured interviews with individual
managers. The main goal is to determine the importance of motivational processes in
leading people and the importance of using motivational stimulus from the managers' point
of view. Five managers from one company are inquired about this topic. The participants
are asked twelve questions concerning given issues. In conclusion opinions of individual
participants of the research are evaluated and compared.
