The main trends in industrial production in the post-industrial period and geographical aspects (implementation in teaching geography at primary schools)
LÝSENKO-CHVÍLOVÁ, Petra
This M. A. Thesis evaluates the Geography of Industry in the post-industrial period. It focuses on the development of the world economy during this period with an emphasis on industrial production. Based on these findings, identifies the main trends in industrial production in this period. Of these major trends are then selected those that are enough significant to have been selected for practical implementation in teaching at primary and secondary schools. The practical part of this M. A. Thesis are new teaching materials according to current trends in industrial production, that were created after detailed analysis of already available teaching materials for elementary schools. These materials are presented in the form of instructional text, worksheets and digital educational material for the interactive Smart boards.

Project metods utilization /disposal waste from selected machine works
Šíma, Kamil ; Nekvasil, Richard (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The topic of my master’s thesis is waste management issue in selected engineering company with focus on industrial wastes. With use of information gained from selected engineering operation there is mentioned its brief characteristics, details about individual operations and products, impact of company activities on environment, facts about quantity of produced wastes and summary of current ways of waste management. On the basis of review of gained information there are suggested measures in the master’s thesis which realization would mean not only increase of material and energy utilization of produced waste, increase of degree fulfilment of waste economy and decrease of quantity of wastes placed in dump, but, in the long term, betterment of economical situation of company and its image.

Design of technology for a mould manufacturing for casting in short run production
Pivoda, Miroslav ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of thesis is to describe the basic methods called Rapid Prototyping in theory and using one of them to create master model. Master model will be used to create silicone mould where a limited series of wax models will be by means of vacuum casting chamber. They will also be used to make ceramic form in which the final pad will be cast from freely accessible materials. After processing it the suitability of the proposed technologies for the production of the part in question will be assessed.

Welding of thin-walled pipe
Kelča, Daniel ; Daněk, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
KELČA Daniel: Welding of thin-walled pipe The project, elaborated during the engineering study, field of study M-VTM (Production technology and industrial management) deals with welding of thin-walled pipes Cats in practise. There are methods of WIG and microplasma welding compared. The suggested basic material is corrosion-resistant ferritic steel X2CrMoTi18-2 (1.4521; AISI 444). Welding runs continuously and depends on the demanded length of the thin-walled pipe. The tests of the weld were designed on the basis of a literary study. They should help us together with the economic evaluation to assess the two methods.

Tar content in gas produced by the gasification of biomass always plays an important role because high tar content disables some potentialities of the further treatment of the produced gas. There is a strong effort to produce gas with low tar content from this point of view. High concentrations of hydrogen and carbon monoxide also advance possibilities of the usage of the produced gas. Experiments were carried out in a reactor for plasma gasification equipped with hybrid gas-water stabilized DC torch. They confirmed that the reactor is absolutely suitable for this purpose mainly due to extremely low flow of plasma composed of argon, hydrogen and oxygen and its high inner temperature. The measurements of the tar content, using wood as a treated material, were based on SPE method and the determination of benzene and toluene in a gas phase revealed really low concentrations of tar, mostly below 10 mg/Nm3.

Unconventional Technology of Wire Electrical Discharge Machining.
Svoboda, Jiří ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with technology of electric discharge machining with emphasis on application of the principle of material removal on wire cut electric discharge machine. The main part is concentrated on wire cut electric discharge machining in terms of a small tool making shop. The goal of the thesis is to create a wire cut electric discharge machining workplace in the company with a focus on the production of cutting tools. The thesis defines requirements for each component of cutting tools and strategies for their machining. Machining of model part and subsequent technical - economic evaluation is included in the final part.

Project technology of production components "Sprocket - wheel"
Haluška, Ladislav ; Rumíšek, Pavel (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is proposing of acceptable technology with manufacture for a part of chain sprocket of the material 11 500, which is designated for a small light motorcycle with a cubature at most 50 cm. It is the prototype, now. The work is specialized on a technology of precision cutting with a pressure edge, at first. This is use for a technology. The component of this work is needed the literary study, calculating and drawing documentation and technical – economic valuation. Et the end of this work, you can see all attachments and all sources, which I used for this work.

Production and verification of teaching project of elementary arts of karate
Faktorová, Dominika ; Venzara, Jan (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Jan (referee)
Title: Production and verification of teaching project of elementary arts of karate. Objective: Production and verification of efficient and methodical training programme of karate for children and youth, which increases technical ability and fitness. Methods: Experiment was made by the simple direct method and it took part in the observing five test's groups (one group was made nearly from 25 observed subjects). And than was used the testing and measuring method Eurofit test and test order ČSKe with criterions. The test results were rated by Microsoft ACCESS®, Microsoft EXCEL®, Statistica 6.0 ® a Graph Pad PRISM®. Results: The results validated utility of training programme, but this programme is not more efficient than common training methods. Key words: Karate, elementary arts of karate, teaching and training project.

Production of bottom body by solid forming
Kaděra, Jakub ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis, which has been elaborated within Master's study programme Manufacturing Technology and Management in Industry (2303T005), submits a production proposal of production of bottom body by solid forming and its economical evaluation containing all the economical essentials needed in order to produce and specify the final price of a forging. This thesis takes in all the necessary calculations and machinery proposals according to the material of dies and to annual capacity of 250 000 pieces of forgings requested. Semi-finished product for the manufacture of forging is cut size of bars of circular cross-section of steel 14 220 ČSN 42 5510.

Sizing of the waves geometrical parameters fabricated on the sheet metal die
Stupárek, Daniel ; Forejt, Milan (referee) ; Samek, Radko (advisor)
This thesis approaches the problem of the return of the original geometric shape of the wave which is created on die panels. Die is used as a structural feature of the fiber-cement roofing material in its shipment in the production line. Based on the study of the theory of cold formed sheet metal determine the actual status in the plant. The method of calibration was designed from the collected informations about the original manufacturer of sheet metal panels. Under this proposal and calculation of the required forming power for the recalibration wave in the factory device for the die calibration was designed and constructed. Equipment calibration was performed on two types of corrugated panels and the result fulfilled the theoretical assumptions. In conclusion is processed technological-economic evaluation and the accompanying drawings.
