Japanese cultural standards

The objective of this thesis is to identify Japanese cultural standards from the Czech perspective. These cultural standards enable us to disclose and understand the specific features of Japanese people, their norms and ways of thinking, feeling and acting. In today's context of globalization and the rising importance of international cooperation, the knowledge of Japanese cultural standards is essential for successful communication with Japanese partners. This thesis is divided into three parts. The first one is a theoretical introduction to the issue of culture in general, as well as culture describing methods - cultural dimensions and cultural standards. The second part of this thesis deals with Japanese culture, its characteristic features and specifics of Japanese mentality. The closing part, which is based on empirical research, puts objective on defining Japanese cultural standards from the Czech perspective, as well as identifying the main cultural differences between these two nations.

Memes and the Theory of Universal Darwinism

The article deals with the philosophical presuppositions and groundwork of the memetics. The central question is an analysis of Universal Darwinism as a common and universal evolutional principle or pattern that always springs in every environment when there're fulfilled required conditions. An evolutional process could be possibly described like an algorithmic process that faces to the rise of organized orderliness. Darwinism in this generally universal sense points to a distinctness survival of any kind self replicated code of information that has some influence over its probability of replication. The article stresses methodological importance of memetics as it makes possible to introspect variety of cultural development from a simple unification perspective.

Analysis of customer perspective metrics of Balanced Scorecard in Socialbakers a.s.

This thesis deals with application of the customer perspective from Balanced Scorecard and customer relationship management in the selected company Socialbakers a.s. First, this thesis studies theoretical basis of the chosen issue. The second part deals with practical use of customer perspective metrics. The current state of measurement and management in this area in Socialbakers a.s. is described and evaluated. Then knowledge gained from relevant literature is used to suggest improvements for this area.

Environment in China - current state, problems and perspectives

The problematics of the environment has been underestimated in China for a long time. This country has been developing with incredible speed in the last three decades. The price for such growth is the current state of the environment in China. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the current state of the environment in China and the development of the stance of the Chinese government towards the protection of the environment in the new millennium. In connection with the economic growth is analysed the dependence on air pollution and Chinese GDP. Last but not least are offered possible solutions and perspectives of the future development of air pollution in China.

The perspectives of tourism in the Canary Islands (with special focus on Gran Canaria)

The Bachelor´s thesis is aimed at discussing tourism and analyzing diffferent perspectives of developement in the Canary Islands, namely in the island of Gran Canaria. The goal of this thesis will first be to evaluace the current situation of tourism in Gran Canaria. It is necessary to find the various perpectives of developement for this area, while also assessing strategic proposal plans in order to increase the competitive ability. The theorical section of this thesis is focused on tourism determination, and destination of tourism. In addition, the origin and developement of tourism in the Canary Islands is discussed. The practical part of this thesis is focused on tourism in Gran Canaria; the life cycle is applied to the destination of Gran Canaria, and there is a complete description of the attractions and infrastructure of the destination. Additionally, a SWOT analysis will take place analyzing the strengths, weakeness, opportunities and threats of tourism in Gran Canaria. In the final chapter, suggestions and solutions for tourism in Gran Canaria will be made based on strategic plans from the Canary institutions of tourism.

The perspectives of Scotland in the international relations

This bachelor thesis analyses small states and their foreign policy and pays a special emphasis on the position of Scotland as an independent country. It describes the process of devolution, which had been finished with unsuccessful referendum on independence in 2014. In connection with this plebiscite it names the "pro" and "con" arguments, which affect the international relations. The last chapter deals with current position of the region of Scotland in international politics, international organisations (especially in the European Union) and discusses possible perspectives of this region in the future.
