Self conception and Identity of Pubescents and Adolescents inTterms of the South Bohemian Region.
STAŠKOVÁ, Ladislava
The bachelor thesis deals with the self-conception and identity of pubescents and adolescents in terms of the South Bohemian Region. The theoretical part encloses the history of self-conception, self-conception from the view of contemporary psychology, it explains the terms of adolescence and pubescence. Furthermore, it deals with the individual elements, which are connected with self-conception and identity. Basically, it is e.g. the cognitive aspect of Me, self-definition, temperament, self-evaluation, values, motivation, emotionality, social environment. The thesis also provides information about Czech and foreign research of adolescents? self-conception and self-evaluation. The practical part informs of an experimental sample, stated experimental questions and hypotheses, on the basis of which a mixed research strategy was chosen. In terms of the quantitative research, the Rosenberg?s self-esteem scale was used. This quantitative research was enriched of a qualitative research part, which consisted in a short contemplation of ?What I am like and what I would like to be like (what I would like to change)?.

Discrete and Linear Structures in Enumeration
Teimoori Faal, Hossein ; Loebl, Martin (advisor) ; Klazar, Martin (referee) ; Kang, Mihyun (referee)
The central theme of this thesis is to nd the multiset version of the combinatorial identities arising from the cyclic decomposition of permutations of nite sets. The main contributions of author's work are as follows. In Chapter 1, we nd the appropriate multiset version of the Stirling cycle number. Then, using these new Stirling numbers, we give a new equivalent statement of the coin arrangements lemma which is an important trick in Sherman's proof of Feynman conjecture on two dimensional Ising model. We also present a new proof of the coin arrangements lemma. Finally, we show several relations of the coin arrangements lemma with various concepts in enumerative combinatorics. In Chapter 2, we rst give a new proof of the Witt identity which is an algebraic identity in the context of Lyndon words using the Bass' identity for zeta function of nite graphs. Then, we present a new proof of the Bass' identity by only slight modi cations to the approach that has been developed by Feynman and Sherman as the path method for combinatorial solution of two dimensional Ising problem. In Chapter 3, we give a multiset generalization of the well-known graph-theoretical interpretation of the determinant as a signed weighted sum over cycle covers. In Chapter 4, we nd a multiset generalization of the graph-theoretical...

Current French Immigration Policy: Continuity or Innovation?
Novotný, Marek ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Miklošová, Kateřina (referee)
The Diploma thesis "Current French immigration policy: continuity or innovation?" is treating the actual development of policies towards immigrants in France. It is focusing mainly on the analysis of two recently adopted laws in this area. Namely, the Law on Immigration and Integration from 26th July 2006 and the Law on Immigration, Integration and Asylum from 20th November 2007. Both Laws comprise of three integral, namely; selective immigration, illegal immigration and the connection between immigration and national identity. Each of these issues is addressed in its own chapter. Each chapter starts with an explanation of particular concepts, like the combination of terms "immigration choisie" and "immigration subie", legal and illegal immigration and the concept of national identity. Next, the focus is on the continuity of the restrictive character of particular policies from the beginning of the 20th century which are influenced by economic (slow economic growth, high rate of unemployment), demographic (ageing of population) or political crises (activities of extreme right). The final part of each chapter considers the justness of the adopted proposals of the concerned laws. At the same time they identify possible areas where the French government policies towards immigrants could focus to achieve higher...

Globalization processes and their influence on society on the example of Czech Republic's membership in the European Union
Prokešová, Zuzana ; Hubinková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Navarová, Jindřiška (referee)
This thesis deals with the globalization processes and their influence on society. The aim is to analyze the social consequences of globalization and to point out that globalization processes do not have only economic but also social consequences. It was used the available literature and relevant statistics and also a survey among young Czech people was carried out. Firstly, the thesis focuses on a definition and characteristics of the concept of globalization, its historical development and the characteristics of globalization processes. In the next section, attention is payed to the influence of globalization on the society as a whole and also on specific aspects. In the last part, the paper focuses on the Czech Republic and its membership in the European Union as one of the examples of globalization processes that our state and Czech society experience. The last part presents the results of the survey devoted to this topic. The main conclusion is that the impact of globalization on society should not be neglected, and vice versa should be in the spotlight as strongly affects our everyday lives.

The crisis of manhood from perspective of contemporary sociological literature
RAUŠEROVÁ, Jana
Initially the bachelor thesis "The crisis of manhood from perspective of contemporary sociological literature" deals with development of the crisis of manhood and further it focuses on field of designing of the man?s identity with emphasis on identifying theories. The work also surveys theme of social statuses and gender stereotypes. Likewise the concept of the absent father and description of particular patterns of the juvenile men are presented in the thesis. Another part of the work is noticing more closely the question of the new paternity. Not least the thesis is concerned with characterization of the new man and in the end of the work it perceives theme of the male group. The bachelor thesis introduces basic lines of the crisis of manhood.

Jesus in the Koran; with Regards to Islamic As Well As Christian Traditions and the Person of Virgin Mary
Hemala, Jan ; Jandejsek, Petr (advisor) ; Lyčka, Milan (referee)
Different perception of the person of Jesus Christ remains to be among the most frequent and challenging questions of the dialogue between Christianity and Islam. Intention of this work is therefore to introduce at least basic elements of qur'ānic christology, i. e. the peculiar "word" of the Qur'ān about identity and mission of Jesus. It follows the fascinating process by which one religious tradition or culture adopted and assimilated the towering figure of another tradition and embraced it in its own conceptions of history of prophecy and of revelation from God. It further compares controversial attitudes of the Qur'ān (and let us say of Islam generally), such as refutation of Christian dogmas of the divinity of Jesus or the Holy Trinity, with creeds and statements of Christian christology; it devotes special attention to the person and story of Virgin Mary either. Within its explanation the work attempts to search out eventual origins or sources of the specific Islamic appreciation of Jesus, especially in Christian, canonical or apocryphal traditions. To emphasize the significance which is attributed to the mission of Jesus by Islamic orthodoxy and ordinary believers the essay refers also to the perspectives and narrations of later Islamic tradition which embellishes and elaborates qur'ānic indications...

Primary School Teacher - the Relationship Between Theory and Practice in the Professional Training
Urbanová, Radka ; Štech, Stanislav (advisor) ; Smetáčková, Irena (referee)
This work deals with permanent and yet actual subject of the relationship of theory and practise in education of teachers. The main subject is connected closely to professional identity of primary school teachers, as well. First of all, the theoretical part of this work focuses on the relationship of theory and practise. It's based on works of both Czech and foreign authors, specifically German and Swiss ones. Because there are different systems of teacher-preparation in these countries, the view on theory-practise relationship is different in many points, as well. Theoretical part is divided into five chapters. First one presents primary school teacher and shows his typical features which differentiate him from teachers in another levels of education. The second chapter describes a concept of pedagogical education of teachers. The third chapter deals with how differently may concept "practise" be percieved in context of their mutual relationship. The fourth chapter describes the relationship of theory and practise in pedagogy and the last, fifth one is the most comprehensive one and is further divided into three chapters.

Man´s Position In Family Planning
CÁPOVÁ, Adéla
The participation of men in family planning appears to be a suitable tool for the improvement of relationships between couples and their children. This thesis studies the attitudes of men towards family planning questions. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into three main chapters: Family planning, The Male Indentity and the Social Roles of Men. The research methods which were chosen were based upon the collection of data. Twenty semi-structured interviews with early adult men were processed by means of grounded theory. Interview questions involved the definition of family planning and seven categories were created upon that basis: the association of the concept of family planning, images of family, attitudes towards the meaning of children in life, male attitudes regarding men{\crq}s role in child care, paternity leave, contraception as well as solutions regarding fertility disorders. The chosen methodology should assess the important social influences that play a role in the attitudes of men towards family planning and the roles of men in family planning. The setting of the conditions for the beginning of reproduction should be the result of negotiation within the couple. In spite of the willingness to change parenting roles, negotiation still leads to a traditional division of these parenting roles, where the woman is a care-giver and the man is the breadwinner. Gender sensitive upbringing is a good way to give support towards the responsibility within the family planning of men and women; it leads them in equal negotiation regarding questions of parenting. The results of this thesis is the creation of a new theory about the role of men in family planning and interested researchers are to be encouraged to verify its validity by continuing in this area of research.

All you need is love? "Optio fundamentalis" as a criterion of situation ethics
Lédl, Josef ; Kútny, Ivan (referee) ; Trojan, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this work is to present a system of situational ethics and decision making concept known as Optio fundamentalists, put it in historical, philosophical and theological perspective, find out what their content applies beyond the framework, find in what way is possibly identical and try to connect them using the basic decision as the central criteria situational ethics. Universality in Amorphous Computing
Petrů, Lukáš ; Wiedermann, Jiří (advisor) ; Janeček, Jan (referee) ; Neruda, Roman (referee)
Amorphous computer is a theoretical computing model consisting of randomly located tiny devices (called nodes) in some target area. The nodes of an amorphous computer can communicate using short-range radio. The communication radius is small compared to the size of the target area. The nodes are all identical, initially have no identi ers, work asynchronously and there is no standard communication protocol. An amorphous computer must work for any number of nodes under reasonable statistical assumptions concerning the spatial distribution of nodes. Moreover, the computation should use very limited amount of memory on each node. For the just described concept of amorphous computer we investigate the question whether a universal computation is possible at all in a corresponding theoretical model. To answer this question, several subsequent steps are performed. In the rst step, we design a formal minimalist model of a node and of the amorphous computer as a whole. In the second step, we develop communication protocol for the amorphous computer. In the last step, we show the universality by simulating a computation of a universal machine. The size of the amorphous computer will depend on the space complexity of the simulated machine. All the previously mentioned steps are described in detail in this work....
