Faltysová, Lenka ; Buttry, Ivana (advisor) ; Jakub, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this work is the processing methodology and presentation process how to restore monuments of garden art. On the example of the revitalization of the castle garden immovable cultural monument Castle Doudleby nad Orlicí, based on the study of literature, similar interventions and the analysis and interpretation of various types of archival material the current quality of historic garden was evaluated. It is based on field survey, which consists of dendrological research, analyzing the authenticity of trees and appreciation of all the collected documents, historical sources and professional literature. Concept recovery of castle garden is based on the expert authority´s binding point of view of the state care of historical monuments. Renaissance castle in Doudleby nad Orlici is located in the eastern part of the town on a slightly raised hill on the right bank of the River Divoká Orlice. There was a wooden medieval fortress with the farmyard on this place in the 13th century. Sr Mikuláš from Bubno started to build a hunting lodge in the Renaissance style as villa in 1588, which was finished in 1590. The significance of Renaissance residence, which complement the early Baroque elements from the late 17th century, is enhanced by the opulent and impressive sgraffito - carpet pattern covering all external and internal frontage, restored in 1886 by Kirchner. The tall chimneys are the part of decoration in the courtyard decorated with sgraffito as well. The chateau complex is formed along its circuit of farm buildings and residential buildings. Building of castle itself is separated by a park with old trees and newer lawns (Hieke, 1984). Castle park in Doudleby nad Orlicí was founded in 1809 in compositional continuity of the Renaissance castle building. The park forms one organic complex with the castle. The promoter strived, like in the castle rooms, to demonstrate here his wealth, his sense of art and his botanical-dendrological knowledge. The park is designed as a narrow disposition in landscape style and it is composed as a long vista to the castle. The area of the landscape park is 3.76 hectares nowadays. The literature search is especially dedicated to the Renaissance and its relationship to the garden art. The monument care in the Czech Republic and the activity of professional organization of the monument care of the National Heritage Institute in Josefov is introduced in this section. The methodological guide describes the used bolsterings and resulting outputs on the basis of them are implemented of such measures, which will help to improve the health and vitality of existing promising trees and new plantings of trees, which are consistent with the original composition with emphasis on the rehabilitation and upgrading of historical value of the object. Treatment of trees and supplementary planting will be done within the frame of total revitalization of the castle park. The practical unit describes the current status of vegetation monuments of garden art. The inventory trees is the essential tool for analyzing the current status of vegetation monuments of garden art. Inventory, which should provide quality base for a draft recovery, should also be addressed in certain parts with characteristics of individual species (Krejčiřík, 2015). The results of field investigation were completely recorded in the graphical output.

Nursing care of patients with nephrostomy
ZIKOVÁ, Jana
The subject of the Bachelor thesis is Nursing care of patient with nephrostomy. Despite the fact that creation of nephrostomy is not as common as for example colostomy, patients with nephrostomies are on the increase. Nursing care is based not only on complex nursing of patient but also on careful raising his awareness and education contributing to complete self-sufficiency in the area of the care of nephrostomy. Nurse has to approach patients with nephrostomy individually with consideration to their current needs. The Bachelor thesis is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part there is a description of nephrostomy intervention itself, its indication, complications, advantages and disadvantages. In the next chapter notion of nursing and of nursing process is defined. It is followed by a description of nursing care in the preoperative period. In the postoperative period there is described the work of nurse which is monitoring physiological functions of the patient. Next, the thesis focuses on patient´s life after the creation of nephrostomy and on its skills in the area of care of nephrostomy. In the empirical part it is detected if nurses of chosen departments of the České Budějovice Hospital (Department of Internal Medicine, Department of Surgery and Aftercare Department) have not only theoretical knowledge in the area of the care of nephrostomy, but also the fact if they know particularities of the care and if they are able to care of patient with nephrostomy. Research inquiry was realised also at patients with an inserted nephrostomy. Three aims of the bachelor thesis were set. First aim detect if nurses are able to care of patient with nephrostomy. Second aim detect if patient is limited in relation to inserted nephrostomy and third aim detect if patient is able to care of nephrostomy. In the thesis three hypotheses were set. The first hypothesis nurses are not able to care of patient with nephrostomy. The second hypothesis patients in the home milieu are able to care of nephrostomy and the third hypothesis nephrostomy limits patients in everyday life. To verify hypotheses questionnaire method of data collection was used. Research inquiry was realised in the period from December 2013 to March 2014 at the Department of Internal Medicine, at the Department of Surgery, at the Aftercare Department and at Urology Ambulatory Surgery. First questionnaire was designated for nurses. Definitely 105 questionnaires were processed, 31 from the Aftercare Department, 36 from the Department of Surgery and 38 from the Department of Internal Medicine. Second non-standardized anonymous questionnaire was designated for patients with nephrostomy who are regularly dispensarized at the Urology Ambulatory Surgery or hospitalized at other departments of the České Budějovice Hospital. Because of relatively low occurrence of patients with nephrostomy 70 questionnaires were distributed altogether. From it 10 questionnaires did not return and it was not possible to use 5 questionnaires because of data incompleteness. Results of questionnaires were then processed by means of computer programme Microsoft Excel 2010 and transferred into charts. From the research inquiry it results that nurses are able to care of patients with nephrostomy, that is why the first hypothesis was not confirmed. The inquiry confirmed the second hypothesis that patients in the home milieu are able to care of nephrostomy. The third hypothesis was also confirmed, patients feel limited in everyday life. The thesis should serve to familiarization with nursing care for nephrostomy and to a possible elimination of mistakes which could arise at general sisters in relation to care to these patients. Results of the thesis will be used in practice in the form of an information booklet. This booklet could be used not only by sisters but also by patients to acquire knowledge and skills related to this issue.

MARCHALOVÁ, Miroslava
The topic of this thesis is the regional elections 2012 on example of South Bohemia region. In the theoretical part were described the regional administrative bodies and principles of regional elections. The practical part dealt with the analyses of the elections results and application of features of the second-order elections, which were described by Karlheinz Reif and Hermann Schmitt in the 70s years of the last century. The last part of thesis deals with Theory of political coalitions. In the regional elections 2012 was established the minimal winning coalition, which included two left-wing political parties.

Using European Data in Journalism
Barr, Caelainn
The European Union is awash with numbers. Data about how european citizens live and our taxes are spent are widely available - the challenge lies in using them. Figures are published on a centralised, national and regional basis with little in common. Data formats, presentation and quality vary greatly. How can we use this information as citizens and journalists to understand the union and generate stories? Why should journalists and developers work together to look at European data? Using practical and live examples of data use including commission expenses and structural funds we will demonstrate how to get EU data, how to prepare it for analysis, the trends to look out for and how to translate it into a story.

Map of criminality in Prague
Cibulka, Jan
I plan to show how the Prague Crime Map was created. The starting point was data published officially by the Police, followed by a more specific database, which I requested from the Police. We will look at the first attempt to visualize the data, which failed spectacularly. On this example I will demonstrate the importance and necessity of analysis before data requests and project launching. I will also show how the second version of the map was created in cooperation with the Czech Statistical Office. Finally, demonstration of final data refining and its visualization will be shown. The map itself should be more accurate than the current map of crime compiled by the Police (the project is still running, final version should be ready by the end of August).
