The thesis is focused on knowledge management and discuss the possibilities of its usage in the area of project management. Knowledge management comes up with systematic work with knowledge. The aim of knowledge management is to create a company culture which motivates employees to share and apply their knowledge in an effective way. Knowledge is today a huge competitive advantage and it makes companies get interested in knowledge management ant its implementation. Communities and knowledge base are great tools of knowledge management and they both have a great potential of usage in different areas.

Diploma thesis describes the possibility of further development of tourism in the region Sedlčany. The basis for processing the information obtained from local budgetary organizations and the Association of Municipalities Sedlčany interviews focused on the municipalities that cooperate with this organization. The goal is to analyze the current situation in managing the development of the region Sedlčany and suggest possible further steps towards achieving the objectives using the tools of marketing management destination.
Corporate culture in selected company

I tried to give account of corporate culture of bigger company in South Bohemia in this diploma paper. I´m analyzing (through the use of questionnaires and "TBSD test") collective team and work environment of this company.I can suggest some new relevant disposals on the basis of discovered facts. These information could abet to improvement of corporate culture and thereby can also abet to increase productivity of labour. Due to these measures could increase efficiency of this company and improve its status on the market.

Systémy pro podporu rozhodování

Práce se zaměřuje na psychologii rozhodování, omezené možnosti člověka, racionální složku rozhodování a vliv emocionálních aspektů na tvorbu rozhodnutí. Především pak na rozhodovací proces v hospodářských subjektech a v celospolečenském procesu řízení. Na pozadí vývoje systémů pro podporu rozhodování, je popsán proces, kdy dochází ke sblížení a zapracování poznatků o psychologii rozhodování do nových přístupů ke konceptu podpory rozhodování a řešení problémů. Poukazuje na nedostatky původních teorií zaměřených především na podporu racionální složky rozhodování a na způsoby, jakým způsobem moderní trendy řešení problémů a podpory rozhodování stále více akceptují nejenom racionální složky lidské osobnosti, ale i skryté nevědomé faktory, znalosti a zkušenosti i emocionální aspekty lidského jedince.

Práce srovnává styly řízení a vedení českých a zahraničních manažerů na základě modelu Vrooma a Yettona. Dále pak porovnává české a slovenské manažery podle manažerské mřížky od Blake a Moutonové. Zkoumá vliv kulturních odlišností na chování a rozhodování manažerů. Porovnává styly řízení dvou skupin států.Do první patří Česká republika, Slovensko a Turkmenistán. Do druhé pak Rakousko, Itálie a Německo.

This paper analyzes the relationship between e-learning and knowledge management. It describes the possibilities of practical applications of this relationship, in context of supporting knowledge management in a company. It analyzes the theoretical background of e-learning and knowledge management. The paper also examines the ways of creation, dissemination and use of knowledge. It looks for common methods, goals and tools used in both e-learning and knowledge management. The concluding chapters describe the usage of particular e-learning applications, present relevant statistical data and the last one provides suggestions for e-learning solutions for different sized companies.
Modification of a system for managing knowledge of workers focused on SW development

Knowledge in business area became the main competitive advantage in the last years and therefore it is necessary to manage knowledge effectively. This paper is focused on analysis of a system for managing knowledge used in a big software company and on suggestion of possible modifications of chosen parts of this system, which is the overall goal of this paper. Concrete goals are defined within the analytical part of this paper.
