Medical personnel's knowledge of restraints and legal aspects of their use

The bachelor thesis entitled " Medical personnel's knowledge of restraints and legal aspects of their use" deals with restraints, their types, the method of use, the legal requirements that accompany their use and the knowledge of medical staff about restraints. Objectives: The aim of this work was to find out what knowledge nurses have about restraints, whether they know what elements the medical documentation must contain and what their responsibilities are. Methods: A 17-question questionnaire was designed to obtain the results of the study. Nurses from the Central Military Hospital were approached. Internal ward, psychiatric ward and aftercare ward were selected as the target units. Out of a total of 80 questionnaires, 50 were returned completed. Results: The results of the survey show that nurses' responses did not differ according to gender and hardly differed according to the highest level of education attained. However, there is a difference in the dependency of the responses and the department in which the respondents work. Nurses on the psychiatric ward are more educated on what their duties are or who is allowed to indicate restraints, for example. Insects as a model group of organisms for the research of knowledge about and attitudes to invertebrate animals

This thesis is a literature review that aims to process the available literature on attitudes towards insects, knowledge about insects and the ways in which the perception of insects by humans can be influenced. In the chapters focused on attitudes towards insects, I show how the emotions of disgust and fear lead to negative views of insects and, conversely, how the perception of their beauty and importance promotes positive views of insects. In the knowledge section, I show how people confuse true information about insects with myths, inaccurately distinguishing between what is an insect and what is not, which insects are dangerous and which are not. In the last chapters, I present the literature that deals with the ways in which attitudes towards insects and knowledge about insects can be influenced. I deal with the effect of urbanization, experiential educational programs and the picture of insects in human culture, namely in language, poetry, fictional literature and fine arts

The first part is the theoretical background that serves as a basis for the remaining parts. This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a system for managing employee knowledge in a specific department. The thesis includes a development gap and needs analysis using the Skill Matrix database tool. Based on the identified development gaps, procedures and measures are proposed to improve the current status and meet the future production requirements.

The Fairtrade awareness at the Faculty of Economics, University of South Bohemia

Thesis deals with the identification of knowledge and awareness of Fairtrade at the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The aim of the thesis is to identify knowledge in the area of Fairtrade and to propose measures to increase awareness of Fairtrade among students and employees. The practical part of the thesis deals with conducting marketing research among students and employees of the Faculty and subsequent analysis of the data from the questionnaire survey, which forms the basis for evaluating the established hypotheses and proposing recommendations that, once implemented, could help to increase awareness of Fairtrade at the Faculty of Economics.

Bachelor’s thesis deals with the requirements for manager of the construction company. The theoretical part focused on manager attributes, knowledge, managerial activities and the ability to lead the team. The practical part bachelor’s thesis based on the hypotheses, which I checked by a questionnaire survey. This survey finds especially which requirements are placed on managers in the construction company and whether students of Faculty of Civil Engineering Brno University of Technology are comply with these requirements.

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to analyze information system of company IMC Slovakia s.r.o., which is operating on the engineering market. Based on the analysis of the current state of the information system will be proposed changes that will bring greater efficiency in working with the information system and also increase the security of ICT. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part will be described all the theoretical background and used methods of analysis. In the practical part, the analysis of the system will be performed using the above methods, on the basis of which the changes will be proposed.

Knowledge base was created in cooperation with experts in the medical field and contains real data.

Proposal of Methodology of Monitoring of Employees

My thesis will serve as a monitoring tool for the management of an educational division in company BooK s.r.o.. This monitoring will consist in setting up a new form of monitoring feedback mechanism with help of a made-to-measure web application created by me. The feedback check will reflect the customer’s satisfaction with services provided by this company as well as the evaluation of employees concerned. Creation of this new form of feedback was requested directly by the company management of BooK s.r.o. and the implementation and using itself will bring benefits the company primarily in automatization of the monitoring process and time factor. At the same time this application will serve as a tool for evaluation of satisfaction of the customers whose opinions are crucial for the company’s success and improvement of the standard of the provided services which will result in increasing the company’s competitiveness.
