Magdalena Straková ABSTRACT The thesis Beginnings of Czech Private Universities, based on the case study of the University of Finance and Administration, addresses the period from 1999 until 2009 when an amendment of the Higher Education Act enabled the creation of the first private universities. It maps and structures the field from the perspective of oral history in a case study of one of the first private universities. The thesis divides the school's history into three parts: preparation of the project and creation of the school, the period of growth, and the time of emergence of the first quality and reputation issues. It also answers the question of how much the existence of private universities changed the sector of tertiary education. Title of the Master's Thesis: The management structure of universities Abstract: Master's Thesis "The management structure of universities' mapping key organizational elements in universities in Czech Republic, both in terms of internal point of view and from outside view from different institutions that are linked to universities, control them or are otherwise tied to their existence. These organizational elements are also compared to the practice of business management and key moments are shown, where the practice of business organizations differs from universities. As part of familiarizing with the organizational structure the analysis of the number of managerial staff was performed both in absolute numbers and relative to the number of students at selected universities. Finally, interviews were conducted with senior managers of these universities to compare their experiences of college life. Digital repositories at universities in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to present, analyse, compare and evaluate the current state of digital repositories at universities in the Czech Republic that use a software application for their digital repository. A theoretical part, which introduces the reader into the issue of compilation and operating of digital repositories in the Czech academic context, precedes the practical reserach. The crucial chapter of the practical part are the results of the actual analysis. The results of a supplementary survey of universities that do not run a digital repository with usage of software application and choose a different way of storage and access to their grey literature draw on the results of this analysis. The conclusion of the entire thesis is the outline of future development of the investigated issue and the perspective of further progress of the Czech academic milieu.

Labor relations academics

Thesis on labor relations academics in its introductory chapters provide a comprehensive overview of the historical development of labor law, legal norms and the development of higher education in the Czech Republic. Further explanation was provided about the sources of law, they have been characterized in detail the different legal standards. The purpose of the above analysis was to create a comprehensive overview a system of labor law. In the fourth chapter, were analyzed in detail types of labor relations to the next chapter was at a particular college, the University of Jan Evangelista in Ústí nad Labem, pointed out how the above-mentioned issue addressed in practice.
