Older Adults Excoursion Tour as a Specific Form of Education

This bachelor thesis focuses on the (sightseeing) tour for older adults as the specific form of education. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the introductory chapter the main theme of this thesis is set into the context of demographical ageing and silver economy. Following two chapters focus on the specifics of older adults that are important for participation on tour for older adults. Simultaneously these chapters are focused on educational aspect to subsume the sightseeing tour into forms of adult education. Another part presents the specifics of the sightseeing tour for older adults in accordance with senior tourism. It is followed by analysis of the tour for older adults which are offered by travel agencies in the Czech Republic, which verifies a validity of theoretical knowledge about specifics of older adults presented in previous chapters. The Specification of Lecturers in the Leisure Adult Education - Guides at the Historical Monuments

This bachelor thesis approaches guides at historical monuments as the lecturers of leisure adult education. It begins with characterizing leisure education in the context of andragogy and in the life of an adult, then shifts to the issue of lecturers in the leisure adult education. The thesis indicates lecturer's roles and requirements posed on them, outlines opportunities for their progress and professionalization, and summarize basic competencies and characteristics of lecturers in the leisure education and adult education in general as well. For this thesis is fundamental the guide activities at historical monuments (from the leisure adult educator's position). Through the outcomes of questionnaire survey, it shows the guide's characteristics from three viewpoints, it clarifies the contemporary situation of the guide's education and attitudes of guides and their supervisors to possible further education in terms of the guide's job. Development of Interest-Based Adult Education in Czech lands since 1945 until now

This diploma thesis deals with the development of interest-based adult education in the Czech lands since the end of Second World War until now. The aim is to provide a view on the development of the functions, aims and content of interest-based adult education based on the study of historical documents. Historical and political context is mentioned. Chosen strategic and legislative documents, which influenced the development of interest-based adult education, are analysed in detail. Both the specifics and the institutional support of interest- based adult education in each epoch are described. The bachelor's thesis deals with the field of interest adult education and its support in a selected locality in the Town of Velešín. The theoretical part defines the basic terms connected with the topic of interest adult education. A theoretical basis is analysed there and a special discussion to the key terms in the presented area is described. In the practical part the particular regional aspects in interest adult education are shown and a comprehensive view of these issues in a selected locality is presented. In the selected institutions that present the widest offer of interest activities in this field and are involved in the area of interest adult education, the content and methodology of offered activities are analysed and, at the same time, the marketing aspects of offers of other kinds of education are explained. The result of the thesis is a comprehensive evaluation of the present state of activities of interest adult education offered in a selected locality and also the recommendation and suggestion in which way the facilities can present their activities further on.
