Attitudes of Outdoor Education Specialization Students at Charles University Faculty of Physical Education and Sport towards Adrenaline Sports

Title: Attitudes of Outdoor Education Specialization Students at Charles University Faculty of Physical Education and Sport towards Adrenaline Sports. Aims: The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to analyse the relationship of students specializing in outdoor education at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University, towards adrenaline sports or challenging activities and determine whether their attitudes have changed after choosing this specialization. Methods: 83 students specializing in outdoor education participated in the research. An anonymous survey method was used. The survey was created on the Survio online platform and subsequently distributed via email or personal contact. The survey consisted of 19 questions, including 13 closed-ended, 3 semi-closed, and 3 open-ended questions. The resulting data were processed and evaluated using Microsoft Excel, and the subsequent values were inserted into pie charts and bar graphs and briefly described. All data obtained through this survey were used for the research results. Results: The results of the survey showed that the overall attitude of respondents towards adrenaline sports is 75.9% positive. Use of experience in the prevention of risky behavior

The topic of this thesis is the use of experience in risky behaviour. The work is divided into four chapters. The first three chapters are theoretical. In the first chapter, we deal with preventive risk behaviour and related legislation, the role of prevention methodology and other workers, the status of the school prevention program together with the use of classroom hours; followed by teaching a separate subject of health education. The second chapter describes individual types of risky behaviour (regarding occurrence among pupils in elementary schools), their specific signs and manifestations. The last theoretical chapter deals with experiential pedagogy, its starting points, basic principles, and methods. We also present selected experiential programs that are used specifically for risky behaviour in selected educational facilities. The goal of the work is to find out what the experience of prevention methodology is with the use of experiential pedagogy methods in the prevention of risky behaviour. The main topic of this bachelor thesis is primarily the principles of experiential pedagogy. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces the reader to basic pedagogical concepts, the development of Music, and the term experiential pedagogy. The practical part is focused on working with primary school pupils in music lessons. The goal is to show some of the experiential methods that can be used to make music education more effective and fun.
Possibilities of using leisure and experiential pedagogy in relation to the teaching of biology

This bachelor thesis deals with experiential education and leisure education and possibilities of using their aspects in schools teaching, especially in Biology and Natural history. There is a need for clarification of definitions in the introduction, which will be followed by a brief chapter on history of experiential learning and leisure education in Czech environment. The main goal of this thesis is to point out that aspects of both branches of education have already been used in some modern education methods. Selected methods are closely described, for example their possible benefits and disadvantages or their extent in education at Czech schools. In conclusion, those methods are then compared with experiential learning and leisure education for confirmation of the main hypothesis of this thesis.
Use of experiential pedagogy to mediate visual impairment to intact children

The Bachelor thesis deals with the possibility of using experiential pedagogy programs to mediate visual impairment to intact children in the basic elementary school. The thesis describes the issue of visual impairment, its classification and functional impacts, and the system of education of individuals with visual impairment in the Czech Republic. The paper further focuses on a detailed definition of the term experiential pedagogy, defines the concept of inclusive education and seeks an answer to the question of why to introduce intact pupils to the issue of (visual) impairment. The research to this paper focused on monitoring how the perception of visual impairment by intact pupils at the elementary school changed after being exposed to an experiential pedagogy program, which focused on the issue of visual impairment. In order to achieve the research goal, a method of a qualitative interview was used for collecting the data and the open coding method was used in the subsequent analysis. Research monitored several partial areas of perception of visual impairment (the area of emotions, the area of knowledge and the area of having a hypothetical classmate with visual impairment). Social development at the camp using experiential pedagogy

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the use of experiential pedagogy at a summer camp for children. The theoretical section deals with children's camps, experiential pedagogy, and its applications in the field of free-time pedagogy for the social development of students. The study focuses on the adaptation of new students and their relationships with future classmates at a summer camp for children aged 15 to 18. The analysis also applies to the camp program's use of experiential pedagogy methods. In summary, it appears that the new student camp assisted in the formation of multidisciplinary relationships as well as orientation in the school's climate and the establishment of rules.
Summer Camps from the Instructors' Point of View

The thesis deals with instructors at summer camps. The main aim of the thesis is to try to find out, through qualitative interviews, what motivates counselors to continue to be involved as camp counselors. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the pedagogy of leisure and leisure time, the theoretical part introduces summer camps, their staff and the concept of motivation. The research part deals with the research question itself. In this part, four stories obtained through individual interviews with camp counselors are analysed. The analysis of the stories was conducted in the form of narrative-oriented research using two of its perspectives that range in content.
Adaptation course in schools

The bachelor thesis deals with adaptation courses in schools and their influence on the formation of new classroom collectives. In the theoretical part, attention is paid mainly to the meaning of adaptation courses, the definition of their most frequent participants (adolescents) and the definition of experiential pedagogy, which is an inherent part of these courses. The research part presents the research objectives (pupils' expectations from the course and their reflections), the chosen research sample (sixth grade pupils of the Třešt'Primary School) and the research procedure used (quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire survey)

The bachelor work deals with problems of experience pedagogical components and their use during classes. The theoretical part includes the literature search of the available sources and the explanation of the notions connected with experience teaching. The practical part deals with the preparation and implementation of an experience-teaching lesson for students of a selected secondary school of education. A model lesson focused on experience teaching components was prepared and was also realized. The results of feedback forms analysis are also presented in the work.
