Comparison of Two Audio Examples as an Android Application
Zhantemirov, Sultan ; Beneš, Karel (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with an implementation of an Android application for comparison of two audio examples by using special technics. The goal of the fnal program is a simple demonstration of comparison algorithm and it’s acceleration. The frst part of this thesis is concerned with theoretical analysis and suggestion for the comparison, while following parts review implementation, acceleration and testing of the algorithm in scope of final demo application.
PATTERN PAINT ROLLER LAB
Giacintová, Zdeňka ; Arndt, Jan (referee) ; Ondrík, Jozef (advisor)
My work focuses on the technique of pattern paint rollers and their historical context. Above all, the work presents an opportunity for me to engage with a phenomenon that was very popular in its time and to explore its potential beyond traditional perceptions. Through a series of tests, I experimented with creating new designs and explored the possibilities of this technology, which included, for example, tests of the materiality and size of the roller matrix or the transfer of the decor from its typical interior setting to an exterior environment.
Object detection
Baáš, Filip ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with detection of rigid objects in images. Chamfer matching algorithm, which is built for this kind of tasks is used as detection algorithm. First part of this work is dedicated to theoretical explanation of the algorithm. Most commonly used metrics of distance transform are explained, which is needed for the algorithm. Also explanation of chamfer distance calculation and pyramid representation of information is here. Next part is dedicated to development tools used in this work, which is integrated development environment Visual Studio and libraries OpenCV for image processing and Qt for graphical user interface creation. In last part of this work, practical implementation of object detection is described. This part explains the way objects are rendered, steps for creating a template from rendered image, method to create set of templates, comparison of speed of distance transformation calculation in different metrics, comparison of speed of common and pyramid detection and method of score calculation. The conclusion summarizes reached goals of this work.
Surroundings / Fragments of Life / Vernacity
Pelikánová, Šárka ; Nikitinová, Alice (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
The collection of paintings entitled SURROUNDINGS is based on my long-term interest in observing the everyday world. In the diploma work, I return to my family, to my home village. I look at my surroundings with gratitude and nostalgia. With gratitude for such a carefree, loving childhood, for the diligence that our parents taught us from an early age. I look nostalgically at what remains the same around the village so far, and regret at everything that changes. During the creative process, I explore maps, recording the shapes of ponds, houses and roads. However, I narrow the resulting set of paintings to the local forests, their transformations and work in them. Paintings with repeating patterns look at first glance with an emptied aesthetic impression, like a purely thematic prank. In fact, I bring personal experience into this decorative repetition, repetitive family stories that have happened, are happening and that I want to capture with this stylized form.
no noon on
Janechová, Lucia ; Houser, Milan (referee) ; Štindlová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the theme of sun. We perceive the sun in many different ways according to its position on the sky, to where we are located or simply depending on our current mood. In paintings and objects I look for ways to capture it's visual form or the imprints of feelings it's capable of creating. For that I use spiky or round branch-like shapes as the variations of the sun rays, in the centre of paintings is usually a circle. I combine acrylics and oil with dry pastel, which enable more relaxed and free strokes. In effort to expand the scale of medium I included materials like copper or concrete in my work. The series is therefore finished with relief almost-objects and a copper “gate” the sun figuratively passes through at noon.
Sensor Security - Verification of Image Authenticity
Juráček, Ivo ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis is about image sensor security. Goal of the thesis was study data integrity gained from the image sensors. Proposed method is about source camera identification from noise characteristics in image sensors. Research was about influence of denoising algorithms applied to digital images, which was acquired from 15 different image sensors. Finally the statistical evaluation had been done from computed results.
Verification of Programs with Pointers Based on Pattern Detection
Kubíček, Jan ; Erlebach, Pavel (referee) ; Vojnar, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper presents our results in study of verifiaction of infinite state space systems. We deal more concretely with abstract model checking. As main part of study we learned about pattern-based verification. This method is supposed to verify programs with dynamic memory structures like lists. Those structures are presented as directed graph. Pattern-based verifiaction abstracts any number of nodes by replacing them with summarized node. This way we achieve bounded  presentation of unbounded memory structure. Afterwards, verification is very effective due to low number of possible memory configurations. In our own work we deal with making model of a program for a tool that implements pattern-based verification. This model isconstructed from a subset of the C language. The main contribution of work is making the verification of simple programs written in C language completely self-acting by automation of constructing input model. In this paper wepresent the grammar of created subset of the C language and implementation details of translation.
Following Julius Fučík in the children's magazines between 1945-1970
Jozífová, Kateřina ; Knapík, Jiří (advisor) ; Köpplová, Barbara (referee)
The Diploma work is focused on the media image of Julius Fučík in the children's magazines between 1945 and 1970. The main aim of the work was to find out how often Julius Fučík appeared in the contents of selected magazines for children and how he was presented to them. Eleven periodicals intended for elementary school children were selected for the research - Vlaštovička, Vpřed, Mateřídouška, Studánka, Plamen mládí, Člověk a příroda, Ohníček, Pionýrské noviny, Pionýr, ABC mladých techniků and přírodovědců, Sedmička. Texts devoted to the topic of Julius Fučík or his works were subjected to frequency and thematic analysis. Based on them, it was possible to determine the period of ups and downs of Fučík's cult of personality, as well as to determine six main themes that were associated with his person in children's magazines. In the conclusion, all predetermined research questions are answered and the results of the entire work are described in more detail way. The analyses showed that the period of the strongest Fučík's cult had occurred in 1953. On the contrary, between the years 1945-1948, 1955-1956 and 1965-1969, not a single text related to Julius Fučík appeared in children's magazines. The research also showed that Julius Fučík was presented to children as a national hero, a role model, both...
