Recreational rowing as a form of leisure-time physical activities.
Omcirk, Dan ; Hráský, Pavel (advisor) ; Šteffl, Michal (referee)
Title of bachelor thesis: Recreational rowing as a form of leisure-time physical activities Author: Dan Omcirk Supervisor of thesis: Mgr. Pavel Hráský, Ph.D. Objective: Find out why respondents chose recreational rowing as their leisure-time physical activity. How is rowing beneficial or has negative effects to respondents perceive. Methodology: For research purposes was used public inquiry of three rowing clubs. Survey was completed by total number of 32 respondents aged from 23 to 75 years, of which 18 were males and 14 females. Results: Participants of public inquiry indicates positive changes due to recreational rowing. Respondent's development of conditional assumptions. Recreational swing is not usually recommended by doctors as a leisure physical activity. Recreational rowing is not conditioned by age of respondents. Keywords: physical fitness, physical activity, hypokinesia, rowing, endurance requirements, power requirements
The ability to assess the physical endurance of students
Bohata, Pavel ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hlavička, Petr (referee)
Title: The ability to assess the physical endurance of students Objectives: Goal of this bachelor's thesis is to diagnose the endurance assumptions and determine the values of body mass index of students at second degree of primary schools. Another goal is in analyzing the results of students with common range of education and students with extended range of music education and aesthetics. Subsequently will follow comparison of analyzed results with goal of finding out statistical difference which is significant between endurance assumptions and the body mass index. Methods: The thesis is conducted in the form of quantitative research. The level of endurance assumptions is determined by multi-stage fitness test (Leger test) and by the values of BMI based on anthropometric characteristics. Results are evaluated in a form of histograms and tables. Analysis is performed by using a F-test and a t- test. The choosen test samples are students of two schools which first one is with common range of education and the second one is with extended range of music education and aesthetics. Resulsts: From evaluated and compared results is obvious that there is no statistically significant difference and therefore can't be said that students with extended music education and aesthetics would reach worse results in...
Comparation of endurance abilities cyclists and tennis players
Pečl, Adam ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Carboch, Jan (referee)
Title: Comparation of endurance abilities cyclists and tennis players Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is comparation results functional load diagnostics at the tennis players and cyclists. At the same time the objective is find out difference in endurance between tennis players and cyclists. Methods: In this thesis was used load tests up to vita maxima. Tennis players perform it on the treadmill and cyclists on the bicycle ergometer. The data are transform into the tables and statisticaly evaluate. For statistical process was used arithmetical average, standard deviation and calculate difference in percents. . Results: The results of the functional load diagnostics tests was different between tennis players and cyclists on bicycle ergometer. Cyclists achieve highest score at the all measured parameters. The maximum oxygen intake differed by 29.4%, the heart rate limit aerobic threshold difference was 7.4%, the heart rate at the anaerobic threshold, the difference of 5.4% for vital capacity was difference 14.8% and minute ventilation differed by 8.9%. Differences in values showed better endurance abilities. Keywords: Tennis, cycling, test up to a vita maxima, endurance abilities
Verification of the effect of Ventolin Inhaler N in athletes without a diagnosis of asthma.
Hampejsová, Kateřina ; Kovářová, Lenka (advisor) ; Horčic, Josef (referee)
Title: Verification of the effect of Ventolin Inhaler N in athletes without a diagnosis of asthma. Thesis' objective: The main objective of this Thesis is to determine whether the medicament Ventolin Inhaler N affects the performance of athletes without a diagnosis of asthma. Specifically, it is about how this medicament influences the parameters in aerobic and anaerobic zone, spirometric parameters and total performance. The other objective is to verify if any of the adverse events of Ventolin Inhaler N appears before the load. Methods: The descriptive analysis method for obtaining information about the issue is used in this Thesis. A test up to a vita maxima on a treadmill according to the protocol of Bunce, spirometric measurement and an answer sheet for the evaluation of subjective feelings immediately after the test is used for the research. Test was realized using a method repeated measurement, each tested person passed the test twice, once using the Ventolin Inhaler N and once without it. Results were recorded into tables and analyzed in SPSS programme using statistical methods. Results: The medicament Ventolin Inhaler N affects the performance of athletes without a diagnosis of asthma. The Ventolin influences the spirometric parameters measured before the test (FEV1, FVC), the spirometric...
Differences of functional load diagnostics results in tests on a treadmill and cycle ergometer
Hampejsová, Kateřina ; Kovářová, Lenka (advisor) ; Horčic, Josef (referee)
AABBSSTTRRAACCTT Tittle: Differences of functional load diagnostics results in tests on a treadmill and cycle ergometer. Thesis' objective: The aim of this thesis is comparing functional load diagnostics results of FTVS students with triathlets. Next aim is to compare results of FTVS students in their group in two tests up to a vita maxima - treadmill a cycle ergometer. Methods: In this thesis we use descriptive analysis method for obtaining information about this issue. For data obtaining we used two tests up to a vita maxima - treadmill and cycle ergometer. The resulting data is processed in tables and statistically evaluated using Wilcoxon test. We use percentage points for comparison of the results. Results: The results of functional load diagnostics test on cycle ergometer FTVS students are at 1,5% lower than the treadmill test. The results of these tests are different, but they are for FTVS students more alternative than for the triathletes, the difference was 4%. Differences of resulting functional load diagnostics values measured in tests on treadmill and cycle ergometer are not statistically significant. Key words: Endurance abilities, test up to a vita maxima, triathlon
