Low-energy houses are becoming more common and requested. The Bachelor's thesis focuses on heating and ventilation of low-energy houses. The beginning chapters describe and explain basic principles of these buildings and basics of air-handling and heating systems. The main part of the work overviews contemporary heating and ventilation systems while pointing out their advantages and disadvantages. The work includes a design of heating and ventilation of low-energy house.

Mountain hotel

The Master's thesis dealt with the project new construction hotel in the village of Kvilda, district Prachtice. Mountain object is used for accommodation and meal serving of guests and its accommodation capacity is 50 reviews. The building is partly basement with three floors. The support system is made up in the basement of formwork blocks and in the overhead floors ceramic blocks, which are supplemented by insulation system Porotherm with Styrofoam. Object is an irregular floor plan and is covered with a single layer flat roof. In addition to fire safety, the work addresses the project documentation as well as an assessment of the proposal of concrete constructions and solves the heat heating object too.

Proposal heat sources for home heating

This bachelor’s thesis deals with heating and selection of appropriate heat sources for family houses. The first chapter describes heat sources used for heating by type of fuel. The second part is devoted to calculation of the energy balance and the amount of heat required for a particular object. According to the results, five possible options are selected. At the end, the economic evaluation of the selected heat sources are processed and the most suitable one is selected. The attachment provides floor plan, section, list of the elements (windows and front door) and also appearance of the house.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on search of one of the many methods of home heating systems, specifically on heat pumps. The first part describes the structure of heat pumps, the principle of how they work, main types, their two most important parameters and comparison of them to other systems of heating. The second part contains comparison of individual heating systems from economical point of views on a selected model house.

In the first part this thesis describes history of the heating systems and their development. Next part contains knowledge and principles of the systems using alternative sources of the energy. Last section is devoted to overview of this systems and their design for households.

Design of a heating system for a new apartment building

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a heating system of a new apartment building. The theoretical part deals with energy and heat sources. The calculation part includes a proposal for heating the new apartment building. It is a three-storey building with a basement and 17 apartments for a total of 46 people. Two condensing boilers are designed as a heat source and a storage heater for hot water preparation. Heating is provided by panel radiators.

Heating system of educational facility

The aim of diploma thesis is describes the design of heating in a primary school in Trenčín. In this project are two variants of the heat source. The first variant is heat pump of an air/water of split design and second variant is two gas condensing boilers. The thesis includes hot water preparation. In the experimental part of the thesis is deals with heating output of radiators.

Optimization of Flat House Heating

This diploma thesis deals with the supply of heat in a particular block of flats in Brno. It deals with supply for heating and for hot water heating. The introduction gives information about the considerated building and also generally, but especially with regard to the current situation with consumption and heat supply. Subsequently, the thesis describes the individual possibilities of obtaining heat. There are mentioned classical heat sources as gas boilers, but also less commonly used as co-generating units or solar collectors. Furthermore, the work is calculating from the technical and economic point of view for heating options chosen by the investor. Finally, the work compares the options from viewpoint of benefits, budgets and returns of possible investments.
