Communication Mix of a Specific Product
Morkesová, Zuzana ; Kaňovská, Lucie (referee) ; Mráček, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis deals with the communication mix for a specific programme focused on space technology. The thesis specifies the theoretical knowledge in the field of marketing communication in general as well as the specifics of marketing communication for universities. The analytical part focuses on competition within Europe, semi-structured interviews with current students of the programme and then an interview with the manager of the Brno Space Cluster, a group of companies operating within the Brno space industry. Based on the analysis, a communication mix for the programme is proposed and a communication manual for the Space Application programme is placed at the very end of the thesis.
Passive heat dissipation using carbon-based material
Genco, Ondřej ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The content of the diploma thesis is evaluation of the usability of carbon composites in the space industry. The aim of this work is to assess whether carbon composites can find application in mechanical systems of passive thermal protection of artificial objects. Model examples demonstrate the principle of operation of selected passive thermal protection. The evaluation is realized based on the results of thermal analysis. Analytical formulas from field theory of heat transfer are used as a calculation method. The diploma thesis consists from two parts. The theoretical part briefly describes the mechanisms of heat transfer, selected types of passive thermal protection and properties and applications of carbon composites. The practical part consists of the assignment, calculation and evaluation of three examples. The results show that carbon composites can compete with commonly used materials for specific requirements.
Development and manufacturing of insert for satellite sandwich panel structure with tailored mechanical characteristics
Multiplier effects of space exploration and exploitation
Harašta, Tomáš
Space exploration and exploitation have already been extensively researched in the past. One of the most notable outcomes of the space endeavors is the spin-off effect. The generation of applicable scientific knowledge is a prerequisite for any spin-off effects to occur. This thesis therefore delves into the impact of government space exploration and exploitation expenditures on fostering scientific knowledge creation. The multiplier effects are calculated, and space knowledge production functions are explored, to enhance our understanding of the variations in the efficiency of funding of space exploration and exploitation. The results reveal a significant difference in knowledge creation efficiency across different countries. The analysis also revealed two different space knowledge production functions in which countries find themselves. One production function includes countries with a more application-based space industry, and the other consists of countries with a more research-based space industry. The thesis thus points out that even countries with lower resources can effectively participate in space industry activities by focusing on fundamental research, which is the first part of the innovation funnel.

Rola vesmírnych aktivít při tvorbe obchodnej stratégie vybranej firmy
Adamišinová, Alexandra
Bachelor thesis represents space as a market. Investments in the space industry support national, economic and technological growth. The bachelor's thesis focus-es on the role of space activities in the business strategy of a selected company. To accomplish the goal of work, it was first necessary to dismantle the current state of the space industry in the Czech Republic. The contribution of space activities for the company was calculated by the Norwegian multiplier. After evaluating the cur-rent state of the company's external and internal environment, it was possible to write recommendations for the company to improve its position within the market.

Involvement of the Czech companies in the space exploration
Kuneš, Michal ; Hartman, Ladislav (advisor) ; Cejthamr, Václav (referee)
This bachelor thesis is about the space exploration and the space industry in the Czech Republic from the view of companies. First part summarise the importance of space exploration. The second part of my thesis is focused on space exploration and industry in the Czech Republic and involvement of the Czech Republic in ESA. At the conclusion there is analysis of the answers to my questionnaires about space exploration and industry.
