Leadership styles and options of personal assesmment

The objective of this bachelor thesis was to perform analysis and review management style in company Quelle ltd. from the view of terminal units and to suggest changes if necessary. The first part of thesis deals with the manager{\crq}s character and several theories of leadership.The second part of thesis includes the history, present situation, organization structure and following analysis of the leadership style in company.
Management and organization in the choice company

The goal of the thesis was to evaluate a system of organization and management in Seznam a.s. and to suggest possible changes which could lead to improve current situation. On the basis of theoretical knowledge mentioned in literary search output, the analysis of management style and organization in the company was made by survey and by interview with one member of management. Survey results demonstrated that company prefers democratic-consultative style of management, meaning that manager discusses his ideas and suggestions with his employees to let them make their own way how to reach defined objectives. There was also a hypothesis confirmed that most of managers are younger aged. This connection in the company works to the satisfaction of all employees and managers, but there is still a room for improvement.
Efficient leadership and staff motivation in a chosen firm

This bachelor work deals with the leadership and staff motivation. The main object was a detection of the mistakes which the managers in a chosen firm make in this sphere. The alternate targets were to analyse the staff satisfaction with their leaders and to detect the managers´ style of leading. The close of my work contains my own suggestions and recommendations how to eliminate the detected mistakes and how to improve current situation in a firm.

Support of bachelor and master thesis couching

Today, procedure of creating bachelor and master thesis suffers from many problems. Amongst them the main issue would consist of absence of central storage ability connected to creating and couching the thesis. In practice that would mean information about records from consultation, comments to thesis etc. are to be lost and neither student, nor his thesis couch can take a look to the history of thesis progress. Furthermore, there is a lack of date registration for consultations and deadlines of handing out thesis. As a consequence, both efficiency and quality of final thesis are decreased by such poor management. As a solution, support of whole thesis procedure with software tool is suggested. There are many options of such software solutions, however only one is the most suitable and that is exactly what this thesis is trying to find. Thesis formulates requirements for such software application, after the analysis of current situation and identification of core issues. Application should bring improvement of the situation and at the same time should be users, operational and financially acceptable. From wide spectrum of available solutions, only those which had fulfilled basic conditions were chosen. Basic conditions such as: users interface in Czech language, saving documents availability and large capacity of users accounts. Final group of potential solutions was put through detail analysis for support utility for thesis couching. This analysis finally shows the most suitable solution. This bachelor thesis brings analysis of utility for commonly available web application or hosted applications for bachelor and diploma thesis couching. The implementation could be done quickly without further problems, thanks to the undemanding IT and financial requirements of software application. After finding the most suitable solution, this thesis shows how large scale of efficiency Microsoft SharePoint Services 3.0 brings. Furthermore, at the end of this thesis, many more options for using this application are shown.
Vedení a motivace lidí na základě zkušenosti z AIESEC

Cílem této práce je na základě vlastních zkušeností z AIESEC a nastudované literatury navrhnout komplexní model ideálního týmu a popsat jeho charakteristiky, analyzovat a zhodnotit fungování týmů pod mým vedením a porovnat je s navrženým modelem týmu ideálního. Smyslem práce je ucelená a podrobná sebereflexe mého působení jako vedoucího několika týmů v AIESEC a vyvození patřičných závěrů pro mé kvalitnější vedení týmu v budoucnosti.
Manager skills in the process of conduct and negotiation

Obsahem této práce je popis manažerských dovedností v procesu jednání a vyjednávání a jejich důsledky na rozvoj firmy. Hlavní zaměření je orientované na důležitost komunikace a komunikačních technik během všech procesů uvnitř i vně firmy. Následně jsou popsány funkce, které manažer ve firmě vykonává a jejich rozdělení dle různých aplikovaných modelů. Práce je strukturována do dvou celků, teoretické a praktické části. Teoretické poznatky získané studiem odborné literatury jsou uvedeny v první části. Pro druhou, praktickou, část byly vybrány dvě firmy, které se od sebe významně odlišují. Na základě pozorování jsou popsány metody a činnosti, které manažeři v daných firmách vykonávají. V závěru jsou uvedeny rozdíly a příčiny těchto rozdílů ve stylech řízení mezi firmami navzájem i mezi realitou a teorií obsaženou v odborné litaratuře.
