Social protection of families experiencing the death of their child before and after birth

92 Abstract: Social protection of families experiencing the death of their child before and after birth The thesis analyses the issue of social protection of families who are facing the loss of their infant. This includes stillborn children, children who died immediately or shortly after birth, fetuses after miscarriage and after artificial termination of pregnancy. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first chapter places the whole issue in the context of the present time. It discusses the terminology closely related to the topic, including its development over time. At the same time, this part also mentions the directions taken by foreign legislation and, last but not least, the scope of the cases analysed is defined. The second part, the core of the text, contains a detailed analysis of the applicable institutes that can be applied in the framework of social security law in the defined cases. Taking inspiration from the social system of the Czech Republic itself, this chapter is also divided according to the first and second pillar: into social insurance benefits and state social support benefits. Planned parenthood of women in reproductive age

The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The corresponding chapters of theoretical part are focused on the anatomy of the genital tract of women, the menstrual cycle, fertility and fertile age. Then follows discourse on family planning methods from different points of view (public health, social service, economy and low). Next chapter concentrates on modern contraceptive methods, compares each of them and analyses the advantages and disadvantages of parethood planning methods. The empirical part consists of quantitative research based on a questionnaire survey which was carried out among women of fertile age. The researched group consists of 106 respondents. The main aim of the thesis is to determine whether women in the CR planning their parenthood. The results of the research are showing that more than 77 % of women in reproductive age are planning their parenthood and relatively well can prevent unwanted pregnancies using various contraceptive methods. More than 50 % of investigated respondents prefer method of hormonal contraception. The results of the research are represented by tables and graphs. The position of the Supreme Court in the American political system and the significance of its decision-making for the political procedure in the USA.

The thesis "Role of the U.S. Supreme Court in American system of government and the importance of Court's decisions for the political process in the United States of America" deals with the institutional role U.S. Supreme Court has in American system of government and puts emphasis on Court's decisions and their practical consequences on the politics in the United States. In history of the country the Court was an influential decision-making body on many occasions. Although shortly after the federation was established many intended to put the Court in position where weak powers given to it would not enable the institution to fully play its role of the guardian that keeps an eye on the constitutionality of adopted laws, at the beginning of the 19th century the Court found its place and became exactly what it was originally intended to be. Decision in Marbury v. Madison gained the Court the crucial power of judicial review. The power of judicial review completely changed the role of the institution that finally became the guardian of the Constitution. Right to live vs. unnatural termination of life

The aim of this thesis is to clarify the concept of the right to life in the legislative in the Czech Republic and in abroad with a comparison with its unnatural end, while abortion and euthanasia. This work is primarily devoted to law regulation of these institutes, but also covers other aspects such as religion, philosophy and science. It is designed so that each and every chapter is in its introductory section devoted to the formulation of the topic, the historical development in the Czech Republic but also abroad, it introduces the possible procedures and attitudes, it mentions for example and briefly compares similar institutes. Other parts of the diploma deal with legislation whether the right to life, abortion or euthanasia, provides comparison of domestic legislation with internationals. In light of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights points the views and attitudes on the subject at the international level. The final section is then evaluated core issues especially from the standpoint of law.
Abortion - from the view of secondary school students in Czech republic

Insufficiently effective planned parenthood leads to unwanted pregnancies, which often end in induced abortion. Prevention is important especially for young people, so my bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of abortion from the perspective of secondary school students in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part-research. In the theoretical part, I tried to create a clear source of information about abortion. I started with a general history and history in the Czech Republic, then briefly described the intrauterine development of the fetus, the reasons that can lead women to abortion, methods, possible complications, various aspects of the issue, other ways to deal with unwanted pregnancies and last but not least the prevention of unwanted pregnancies, which includes sex education and contraception. I obtained all this information from professional literature and professional articles. In the practical part, I presented the main goal and six sub-goals. To achieve the goals, I chose an online questionnaire survey, which was attended by 309 students from various secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The main aim of my bachelor thesis is to find out how well women are informed about the issue of artificial termination of pregnancy. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, I briefly defined the term "abortion", described an evolution of abortion in the context of history in general and in the Czech Republic in particular. I also presented basic views on abortion, abortion methods, described post-abortive syndrome, and recommended fundamental steps that a woman should follow after termination of pregnancy. I gained this information by studying professional literature. In the practical part, I listed six selected partial goals and formulated questions related to them, which are stated in evaluation questionnaire. Then I evaluated the research within the framework of these partial goals on the basis of answers which I had received. As a method of collecting data for the practical part of the bachelor thesis, I used an internet questionnaire survey. I processed the data using tables and charts. The research results show that most women have some knowledge about the problem of abortion, for example, most women know what ways to perform an abortion exist, and they are also well aware of the risks and complications that may arise alongside this procedure....
Evaluation of preventive program "Prevention of unplanned pregnancies and abortions "

The aim of the thesis is the evaluation of the prevention program of the National Initiative for Life, o.p.s. "The prevention of unplanned pregnancies and abortions," which is designed for pupils of 9th elementary school. The theoretical part will be devoted to basic definitions related to the prevention of sexual risk behavior in primary schools. Furthermore, the issue of teenage pregnancy and the risks of abortion. The conclusion will be presented preventive program "Prevention of unplanned pregnancy and abortion." The practical part will deal with the evaluation of the prevention program at several elementary schools in the Region. As a research tool, a questionnaire will be used to pretest-posttest principle.
