Rozvoj komunitního turismu u shuarského etnika v Ekvádoru

This bachelor’s thesis discusses the development of community-based tourism in Ecuador among the Shuar community in the region of Morona Santiago. The methods of investigation are literature review, interviews with the local entrepreneurs and their subsequent content analysis. The thesis focuses on the development of community tourism, the products and ideas offered by the locals, as well as how this type of business is perceived by the local community. It discusses the funding, legislation and organizations involved in tourism, and the overall operation of tourism. It considers the proceeds of the business, what happens to it and what local people use it for. Finally, it discusses self-promotion and marketing, sustainable development, and sustainable tourism. The research results show that the legal norms applied in the field of community tourism sometimes diverge from the reality that is reflected through the responses of local entrepreneurs.

The bachelor's thesis "Sustainable tourism in Central America" is focused on evaluating the approach of individual Central American countries to the development of sustainable tourism. The aim of the thesis is to describe sustainable tourism from the point of view of development and to evaluate its current state at the national level of the investigated countries. The thesis is elaborated on the basis of the proposal of the own set of indicators of sustainable tourism, which cover the economic, social, and environmental pillars of sustainability. The individual results of the indicators are presented through tables, graphs and supplemented with commentary. Subsequently, the approaches of Central American countries are evaluated and compared.
Recreational and tourist exploitation of the central areas of the Giant Mts NP and Beskids PLA

My thesis deals with evaluation of visits in central parts of Giant Mountains National Park in the summer month through three years of periodic monitoring and unique evaluation survey of visitors of natural protected area of Beskydy. It compares results of this protected areas each other and with other chosen national parks in North America, Australia and Europe. It has been recorded the quantitative load of selected localities in Giant Mountain National Park (Luční bouda, Labská bouda and U čtyř pánů) and natural protected area Beskydy (Pustevny). It were conducted guided interview with visitors at this locations. With this method used was obteined high ratio response (about 92 %). It was recorded a total of 44 281 visitors. The most frequented location was Luční bouda and U čtyř pánů in Giant Mountain National Park. But on the top of the Pustevny, the amount of walkers was twice times bigger. Statistically, it was subsequently found some answers to the dependence of demografic characteristic of population of respondents. From this conclusions were drawn both valid conclusions especially for the population of visitors, compared to other protected areas were also expressed about the conclusions of the participants travel mountain protected areas at all. Sustainable tourism and resident management in the central part of KRNAP

The constantly growing desire for discovering new landscapes, cultures, education and economic profit exerts pressure on the environmental and social surroundings that are stronger in the protected areas (PA). State and private spheres make an effort to regulate the flow of visitors through sustainable management, to which the promotion and coordination of all stakeholders of tourism is the main aim. Visitor monitoring is an essential management tool in PA and can lead to conflict resolution and reduction of the impact on nature and society. Charles University in Prague was the first institution in the Czech Republic to show concern through methodical regular visitor surveys in the PA. This work pursues and focused on the opinions of people in Krkonose tourist resort Spindleruv Mlyn (SM) in 1999, 2004 and 2009. Sustainable tourism and conservation of nature in NP (emphasis on NP Sumava)

Compilation part of the Bachelor thesis is focused on sustainable development and tourism. An integral part is conservation management with a focus on the NP Šumava. Thesis mainly concentrates on evaluating the impact of tourism on the environment whereas one chapter/part is an analysis of winter tourist season in mountain areas. The experimental part deals with monitoring of tourims in NP Šumava to which was used a method of questionnaire survey. The emphasis is put on winter sports tourism. Research results (from winter season) are compared with summer surveys. Among new findings belong a increase of car traffic by 5%, absence of adequate car parking facilities/parking spaces and diverse opinions of summer and winter visitors. Based on these results relevant management disposals are introduced.
Geocaching in relation to sustainable development

This thesis is focused on relation between geocaching and sustainable development. It deals with this relation on basis of approach of geocachers to cache-making and on basis of state of caches in different areas. Approach of geocachers to cache-making tests by semi-structured interviews analyzed by Grounded theory and by internet data analysis. State of caches in different areas tests map data analysis. Outcome shows rather positive relation of geocaching and sustainable development. Strong points of the game are in positive influence on sustaining and shift of memory of places, increasing place atractivity and partly environmetal education. Study can be beneficial for instance for protected natural areas administration, public administration or administration of destination management of areas. Scientific benefit of this thesis lies in surveying this theme and creating basis for next research. The Analysis of ecotourism in the central region of the Republic of Ghana

The aim of this thesis is to capture, analyse and also present current ecotourism and tourism development in the Republic of Ghana. The analytical research will focus on the development of ecotourism and tourism in the central region of Ghana. It will continue to focus on its share in gross domestic product and on the impact of tourism development on employment of the population. The first part of the thesis is a literature review that describes tourism I on a global scale and the definition and description of ecotourism. The second part is a practical part, evaluates the status and potential of ecotourism in the Central region in the Kakum National Park. In conclusion, the results of analytical reviews will be evaluated, and various recommendations will be proposed.
