Intelligent Fighting Units

The field training of army units includes high financial, material and human resource investments. From this reason, an emphasis on the simulator training of these units arised recently. But the training in simulator needs to have the simulated units as intelligent as a human beings are, so the field training with real human opponents can be successfully replaced with the simulator training. This work deals with the design of fighting unit's intelligent behaviour, that will be applicable in the E-COM simulator environment. Work covers the description of intelligent agents and ways how to achieve their rational and autonomous behaviour. The proposal and the analysis of intelligent fighting unit's implementation and unit's communication with surrounding environment, basic implementation of this proposal and experiments with created implementation are also described in this work.

Meaning of practice and achieving of working experiences during the tertiary education due to competitivness on labor market in focus on graduates

This thesis is focused on the topic of job opportunities for graduates after the graduation on the labor market in the Czech Republic and possible preparation for this issue during the studies too. The object of this work is the participation of students on their career paths in the future and the competitiveness of their human capital. The position of graduates in the history of the Czech Republic is various. This thesis describes the university degree during the history and present of the Czech Republic. We're talking about the time period of socialism, then the Velvet Revolution and the period of tertiary education in a democratic society. These periods are described using the academic sources, theories and opinions. The thesis focuses on the time horizon of ten years from 2006 to 2015 in the research study. By the research author examines the various strategies and attitudes of students confronted with this issue. Respondents of the target group of graduates are interviewed for their actions during the tertiary education. The world is changing. There is technological progress, globalization and the countries are developing in all ways of socio-economic units. Fan Cost Index in Fortuna:Liga

Title: Fan Cost Index in conditions of Fortuna:Liga. Objectives: The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to present Fan Cost Index of the Top Czech football league. Fan Cost Index indicates shopping routine of fans and base on that it is capable to calculate average spent of fans for one game. Methods: An electronic questionnaire was used to collect data for Fan Cost Index. Data were analysed by using statistical functions of Microsoft Excel program that included calculations for each individual club. Results: Acquired data showed following results. There are three members in an average group of fans visiting one game. This group buys in average 2x tickets, 1x season-ticket/number of home matches, 2x sausages, 2x soft drinks, 5x alcoholic drinks and 1x match program. Emotions and utility maximization

The goal of this thesis is to examine the role of emotion as it pertains to the utility maximization problem and make an argument for incorporating emotion into economic models of decision-making. It further aims to demonstrate by means of a social experiment how specific emotions influence intertemporal judgment. The results from the experiment reveal that in line with previously documented findings, incidental sadness increases the level of economic impatience. However contrary to theoretical predictions, the prosocial emotion of compassion cannot be used as a tool to reduce economic impatience. In fact there is evidence to indicate that compassion, in some situations, is not reliably different from sadness in terms of its influence on economic impatience and can therefore be detrimental to economic wellbeing.

Cost-benefit analysis – Moral in economy

The subject of the bachelor thesis is cost benefit analysis and its ethical origin. Theoretical part presents ethical and philosophical movement of utilitarianism together with its main representatives. After that the bachelor thesis is dedicated to cost benefit analysis, whose basis is closely connected to utilitarianism logic and its way of value perception. Theoretical part is also devoted to the methodology of this particular decision-making instrument, which is widely used by governments and corporations. Practical part is focused on the relations between utilitarian way of thinking and the cost benefit analysis, which was used in existing practical studies devoted to the impact of smoking on the public finance of the Czech Republic.

Validation of Utility Theory of a Consumer in Practice

This bachelor thesis is focused on validating of Utility Theory of a Consumer in practice. The aim of this work is to confirm or disprove the theory of decreasing marginal utility on the two test groups of respondents coresponding to a pre-prepared questionnaire.
The work is divided into two main parts first is a theoretical and second is a practical. The theoretical part is devoted to the authors, who were stadied to the issue of consumer behavior from the past until present.
These findings are used to develop questionnaires and subsequent elaboration of the practical part. In the practical part are analyzed using a graphical representation individual responses to the questionnaire from two interviewees groups. These data lead to the evaluation of whether the theory of diminishing marginal utility confirmed or not. Average utility are further processed in statistical calculations to compare whether the average utility in the two groups tested statistically significantly different or are the same average utility.
