Multiple births in Czechia and international perspective Abstract The bachelor thesis deals with the development of multiple births between 1950 and 2019 in the Czech Republic and compares it with the development of multiple births in selected foreign countries, which are France, Japan, Germany, Greece and Sweden. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the probable causes of the changes in the frequency of multiple births, which has been increasing worldwide especially in the last decades. The bachelor thesis examines the basic characteristics of multiple births and at the same time presents the factors that influence the frequency of multiple births and also looks at the risks associated with multiple births. This thesis includes the view of child from history to present. It describes individual differences in furniture for child´s bedroom according to child development. Theoretical part consist of all aspects and rules, as is ergonomics and anthropometry, which display on final design. Furthermore, it deals with various impacts such is impacts on new-borns, whose immunity is very low. It also considers all safety aspects, which are important for child´s health and it protects children from injuries. Excepting other factors that affects child´s sleeping, this thesis deals also with the multiple pregnancy. Parents need to give twice that much of effort and at the same time give the same quality of development during multiple pregnancy. The second part is about designs of child´s cradles. These designs come from various inspirations on the same market. Designs are supported with sketches and 3D renders. You can also find there more specific design with material and technological process of production.
Formation's twins identity

This thesis deals with the issue of identity of identical and fraternal twins from the age of eighteen to twenty-five. The theoretical part defines the terms identity and it's gradual development, describes clasification of twins, biological conception of twins, approaches in upbringning of twins and the social status of twins in history. The practical part presents poznatky of research which has been conducted by half-structured interviews with identical and fraternal twins. Questions of research are focused on areas influencing identity of twins like a family, upbringing, relationship of twins. There are also questions describing twin's daily life. My aim was to find common feature of identical and fraternal twins.
Communication of Twins in Various Communicative Situations

The thesis presents a pragmatic analysis focused on the communication of twins from the 35th to the 37th month of their life in different communicative situations. The paper is based on a case study of twins. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on texts on language acquisition and communication of 3-year-old children and acquisition of pragmatics. The material for the analysis comprises of audiovisual recordings made with informed consent from the parents of the twins who were further supplemented by information obtained through parental questionnaires and interviews with the parents. Video recordings are transcribed according to the principles of CHAT of CHILDES corpus. The material is analyzed in terms of means that the children use to express communication plans. Selective respiratory parameters and training of female tennis players

Title: Selective respiratory parameters and training of female tennis players Objectives: The focus of this essay was to gather information on the respiratory parameters of twin female tennis players and compare them with the general population and elite female players; both in the field and in controlled environment. Furthermore, we used results from the field and the controlled environment to create respiratory training for our twin players. Methods: We used analysis, comparison and conversation methods. The analysis method was applied to respiratory parameters of our twin players and the comparison method was then used to compare the results with the general population and elite players. With the structured conversation method, gathered data from our twin players for individual experience during the training with POWERbreathe. Results: The respiratory parameters of our twin players were average compared to the general population and below average compared to elite players. Laboratory and field results showed different results of VO2max. Multiple-births in Czech Republic

The main goal of this thesis is the analysis of multiple-births in Czech Republic between the years of 1950 and 2005 including the international comparison and assess of the influence of assisted reproduction on occurrence of multiple-births. The thesis is divided into five different parts. The first part is dedicated to the analysis of fertility according to a succession of births in Czech Republic while using the indicators of total fertility, the average age of mothers in the time of childbirth and the total number of new-born babies. The second part focuses on multiple-births considering both historical and contemporary point of view and on possible risks for both the mother and the foetus. Next part describes the assisted reproduction, its history, present and commonly used methods. The fourth part is dedicated to the influence of assisted reproduction on the occurrence of multiple-births and to the analysis of multiple-births with the use of absolute and relative number of mono-births and multiple-births indicators, indicators of total fertility, masculinity index, the rate of stillborn babies and the proportion of children born outside of marriage. The last part compares the development of multiple-births within the European countries according to NIDI 1999 classification.
Twins in Sociocultural Perspective

This thesis deals with twins in a socio-cultural perspective and the main aim is to explain, how stereotyping of twins influences the perception of twin identity in twins. The theoretical and empirical work includes a theoretical part explaining the key terms and concepts (eg. twins, history of twin studies, social perception and stereotyping of twins) and an empirical part based on a qualitative research survey, supplemented by knowledge from the theoretical part. The empirical study introduces the methodological process of the research survey and the resulting results, which comes from the analysis of interviews by ten respondents.
