Chapters from Ladislav Malý's Life (1862-1956)

The main aim of this thesis is to describe the personality and life of Ladislav Malý (1862-1956), a teacher, writer, traveller and amateur national historian, who put forward the foundation of the Museum of Příbram. The thesis also tries to situate Ladislav Malý's life into the context of the era and to assess his importance in the history of Příbram, the Příbram region and the Habsburg monarchy, respectively the Czechoslovak Republic. The third task of the thesis is to assess if Ladislav Malý fits in this context and whether or not, in some way, he is out of it. The story about Ladislav Malý is not strictly chronological. As the title "Chapters from Ladislav Malý's Life" sais, the individual aspects of his life (teacher's work, writing, traveling, etc.) are described separately to make them easier to understand and to place them in the overall picture of the era of second half of the 19th century till the middle of the 20th century.
Count Maurice de Benyovszky and the central European literary reflections of his life and work

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to focus on the traveler, adventurer and Madagascar king Count Maurice de Benyovszky, his life and his work, and to discuss his personality and his significance within the Central European region. We will attempt to name the differences between his portrayal in the literary works of the mentioned area, find the reasons for them and confront them with the historical reality. In addition to that, we will pay attention to various editions of his memoirs and the way of translating them to Slovak and Hungarian language as well. Consumer protection in air transport

The master thesis is dealing with the consumer protection in air transport. The legislation is primarily stipulated in the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union regulation, to whom is dedicated the beggining of this thesis. In next step the study is devoted to operating irregulariarities followed by problems concerning luggage that could potentially occur during transportation. The end of the theoretical part is discussing the companies that assist passengers in receiving their compensations from air carriers if they are entitled to it. The second section is mainly analytical and it is supported by the theory from the first part of the thesis. Research is done within this part via method of questioning. The aim of the thesis is checking the awareness of passengers about their rights whilst using air transport. The thesis also contains subgoal which is a summary of a basic overview of consumer protection legislation. The conclusion is devoted towards proposals for addressing any identified deficiencies.
A creation of a holiday package to the Dodecanese Islands

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create a 10 day holiday package around Rhode Island, Kos Island, Nisyros Island and Patmos Island. The main task of the thesis is to organize the right combination of air transport, sea transport and road transport. The thesis is divided into 3 chapters. The first chapter explains the basic terms of tourism as holiday package, travel agency or different types of services. The second chapter introduces the beauty and the diversity of the Dodecanese Islands from the point of their historical monuments and natural sights. In the last chapter is created the holiday package itself including a 10 day itinerary and calculation of the holiday package.
Operating irregularity in air transport: application and subsequent enforcement of passenger rights within EU

The main objectives of this thesis are identification of operating irregularity which can be met in air transport by common traveler, outline cause of these irregularities and characterize direct influence on traveler in air transport within whole Europe. Then I focus on defence against these unexpected or deliberate irregularities, which are available for standard citizen of European Union but also for every carrier. Methods which I going to use and realize in this thesis are based on my own experience and practice which is especially based on cooperation with external subjects. External subjects deal with this issues. In conclusion of this thesis should be a clear proces and structure which clearly determine when and under what conditions is carrier responsible for irregularity and simultaneously when traveler have a right for compensation.
Internet travel communities

The present Thesis is devoted to the category of online projects aimed at communication between travelers, generally describes the above mentioned topic and its recent history. The main goals of the work are presentation of this area of the World Wide Web, explanation of its meaning for intercultural exchange and development all over the World. At the same time, the Thesis underlines the importance of the described field for global tourism development and strives to promote these new ways of travelling at a higher, scientific level. The Thesis also offers practical information for participation on such online projects, seeks possible paths for further development of travel communities, describes financial aspects of activities which these communities carry out and explains how these projects interact with other areas of tourism, first of all with entrepreneurship in this field. The main outcome of this Thesis is made up by presentation of the mentioned innovative ideas in modern tourism at a scientific level, definition of possible trends in new ways of traveling and hypotheses considering further development of World tourism in connection with continuous growth of virtual, which are at the same time real, communities of people from the whole planet with common passion for traveling. The basis for the Thesis consisted of theoretic knowledge as well as personal experience with operation of Internet travel communities of the author.
