Solving the state of traffic in České Budějovice in relation to the current traffic infrastructure
FIKLÍKOVÁ, Ivana
The main objective of this text is to take stock of the traffic situation of the city of České Budějovice with a focus on the transport infrastructure. A secondary objective is to propose improvement measures by assessing what the priority transport structure is that will have a positive impact on road transport in the city and by proposing a method to monitor the traffic situation and to re-evaluate the priority of the construction of individual segments. The first step was to obtain information and background documents about the transport situation and transport infrastructure in the city to make an overview and to gain an insight into the issue. This was followed by a more detailed study of methods used in other countries for determination of the traffic problem defining processes, for evaluation of traffic situations and for solutions involving a proposal of transport projects. Given the scale of the problem, the analysis and the proposal that follow only deal with road transport, more specifically with the construction of new roads. Road construction is, according to experts, a key part of any improvement measures since the quality of the current road network is not sufficient not only in cities but in all of the territory of the Czech Republic. Based on the available literature an overview has been made to assess the significance of the city as a transport hub, an overview of the local transport situation and the transport services available in České Budějovice. This was largely based on the Integrated Traffic Management Plan (Integrovaný plán organizace dopravy), the main strategic document. The actual analysis covers only road traffic and the evolution of its intensity. Traffic intensity was monitored on selected roads in České Budějovice and the results were compared with values from previous years. Other criteria regarding the suitability of transport projects were not included in the analysis. The outcome supports the view that construction of transport infrastructure along Strakonická road, Na Dlouhé Louce, Milady Horákové, Husova and the road towards České Vrbné will improve the quality of transport throughout the city.
Analysis of the use of freight traffic in the selected company
KURAN, Jiří
This thesis focuses on modern transport equipment used in road haulage to the issue focused on the optimal use depending on the nature of the transported loads and the nature of the roads. In the conclusion, I suggest that modern transport facilities for the selected company.
The issue of transport in international trade
SOUKUP, Václav
This diploma thesis deals with international shipping. Transportation in international trade holds, despite unstable developments during the last few years, is of vital importance. The main factor that affects most of the weaknesses associated with the current issue of transportation, the effect of the impact of the global economic crisis. The thesis also focuses on detail to frequent damage of cargo and proposes measures for their elimination.
Evaluation of the transport with barter system on the holding of primary production agriculture
JELÍNEK, Jan
The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the exchange system with barter system on the holding of primary production agriculture. The first part is devoted to theoretical knowledge on this issue. The second part evaluates the farm system and barter system, which consists of tankers, bulk silo structures with extensions and spreaders. In the above-mentioned bodies has been analyzed performance and return on the investment and operating costs and their components.
The development of rail transport and its infrastructure
Henkl, Dan ; Eisler, Jan (advisor) ; Kadlec, Jaromír (referee) ; Novák, Vladimír (referee)
Investment projects of companies can be assessed by various methods. There are methods non-profit character, as well as static methods, dynamic methods and real option methods. The basic requirement for the method should include liquidity factor, time factor and the risk factor in the evaluation. Methods that do not respect these demands, we can consider the approximate methods. However, there are areas where these methods can not be simply used.             The main objectives of this thesis are the specifications of the problems of development of transport, especially railway transport in the Czech Republic and its comparison with neighboring countries and the characteristics and assessment methods to evaluate investments in transport, which are used for the assessment of transport projects in the Czech Republic.
The Transport in Prague in connection with legislation
Rybníčková, Petra ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Křížová, Zuzana (referee)
This Bachelor's Thesis consider the problems of transport (and transporting system) in Prague, the Capital of the Czech Republic as a specific kind of transport problematic. Transport in Prague is compared withother city logistics systems around our country and is given into the connection with legislation as a very important part of it's being. My hope is to find out all the junctions between the needs of Prague (reality) and the legislative actions (the theoretical base for it), discover weak aspects of our rules and to describe pssible resolution to this problem.
Analysis of rail container terminals in the Czech Republic and suggestion on the optimal arrangement
Šimůnek, Dominik ; Bolotov, Ilya (advisor) ; Hinčica, Vít (referee)
This theses describes a combined transport in the Czech Republic, the part, which are involved in, its problems and prospects and its infrastructure where the most important part of the combined transport are terminals. In the Czech Republic there are only the terminals between rail and road transport. The goal of this thesis is to try to find a possible options for development and the location of these rail terminals, which would maximize the use of our rail network and minimize truck traffic.
Daily Spatial Mobility of the Residents of Bystrice nad Pernstejnem Region: the Analysis of Selected Processes and Their Geographical Determinants
VÍCHA, Lukáš
The bachelor thesis is devoted to the topic of everyday spatial mobility in Bystrice nad Perstejnem, to the analysis of selected processes and their geographical determinants. It is focused on the analysis of the data on the spatial mobility of local residents by means of household saving in characteristically different areas. The main purpose of this research is to identify main forms, objectives, reasons and ways of population mobility and searching for their geographical determinants.
Characterization of Liposomes Used as Model System of Biological Membranes by Glassy Carbon Electrode
Parisová, Martina ; Navrátil, Tomáš ; Šestáková, Ivana ; Barek, J.
This contribution deals with study and characterization of liposomes. These vesicles may serve as model membranes used for study of transporting processes of heavy metal ions across the real phospholipid membranes (PLMs). 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine was used for the formation of large unilamellar vesicles (LUV). These vesicles were prepared by hydration method. Interactions of cadmium ions with LUV in solution have been characterized using voltammetry, where glassy carbon electrode was used as the working electrode. Size and presence of liposomes in sample was proved by dynamic light scattering and free cadmium ions in samples were determined by differential pulse voltammetry.
