Traffic Simulator
Kučera, Lukáš ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The object of the bachelor’s thesis was to study a code of a traffic simulator TRASI, to find causes of a malfunction in giving way at the crossing and to fix these causes. Several methods of solution were suggested and one was selected and implemented into the simulator (the priority mask system). The solution’s functionality has been tested on three simple model situations. On a crossing with a main road, on a crossing with a right road priority and on a crossing with traffic lights. The design of these situations is as well the part of the bachelor’s thesis. Then there is a brief manual for the simulator, both for users and the following programmers, in the thesis.
Driving School - Rules of the Road
Porč, Jiří ; Žák, Pavel (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on a traffic simulator design. The matter of simulation methods is described here as well as a project of a town model, road system and its usage in an implementation in a traffic simulator. The work further explains the principles and techniques for creation of the town model in an editor and it analyzes traffic rules that are necessary for the creation of the simulator of this type. The created simulator uses various engines for its functioning. It would not be possible to continue in further work without their proper adjustment. That is why the installation of the used engines is described in the thesis. Principles of 3D model and texture usage are also explained.
Public Transport Simulation in Brno
Němec, František ; Král, Jiří (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement public transport simulator in Brno. Information about the departure times and routes of each public transport lines are extracted from online traffic timetables. Data from which traffic network is generated are obtained from OpenStreetMap project. The thesis contains a description of the basic approaches to create traffic simulators, especially the description of the microscopic approach on which is this simulator based. The second part of thesis includes the design and implementation of simulator, whose main components are ways of traffic management, representation of transport networks and the generation of OpenStreetMap data.
Simulation of Traffic on Roads and Highways
Zajdák, Jiří ; Vícha, Karel (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with a simulation of traffic on roads and highways. The thesis analyzes important concepts of road traffic law and their relation to simulation system. Further are here described problems of design and creation of traffic network which simulator uses. Work explains principles of models of behaviour of traffic participants which are extensible by force of plug-ins. The thesis also valorizes how many details is advisable to model the reality in particular parts of simulating system.
City Traffic Simulator for Web
Kováč, Kristián ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a city traffic simulator, which visualizes its results on a web interface. Information about the traffic network is obtained from the OpenStreetMap project. The simulation is based on a microscopic model and focuses mainly on the Brno - Střed area. Vehicles are modeled as separate entities that communicate with each other and follow the traffic rules. The thesis describes the basic principles of traffic modeling and simulation. It also deals with some existing microscopic traffic simulators and their properties. The second part of the thesis describes the design and implementation of the created application. It focuses mainly on the description of OpenStreetMap data processing, vehicle model, structure of simulation results and their visualization on a web interface.

Toolbox pro dopravní simulace
Dohnal, Pavel
The Aimsun simulator is powerful tool for simulation of traffic flow while the Matlab environment provides the rich set of functions that simplify the process of design, optimization and testing of developed traffic control. Toolbox combines together advantages of both of them.
