Use of Oral History in Tourism

(English) The aim of this diploma thesis is to introduce possibilities of oral history, specifically its elements and principles, into services included in tourism. The theoretical part states the essential terms and definitions used in this thesis concerning oral history and tourism. This part also includes a vision of using oral history and its elements within the field of tourism. The empiric part shows the current use of oral history in tourism giving specific examples and supports them by interviews with narrators who work in Open-Air Museum of Mining and a travel agency and their interpretation. A few pages of the empiric part are dedicated for a research of tourist's demand for services in tourism that include oral history elements and a SWOT analysis of integrating oral history into tourism services including tourist guiding and other supplementary services in tourism. The aim is to introduce the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of this integration. The diploma thesis also notices the understudying of both tourism and oral history in connection with each other and shows the potential of such connection with the benefits for both subjects, travel agencies' clients and visitors to sights such as museums or open-air museums. Technical monuments in selected region and their use in tourism

The goal is to design a tour to increase the utilization of the selected technical monuments in Ostrava city, as it is a region where many of the interesting technical monuments are located.
Business Plan - expanding a travel agency

Master’s thesis "Business plan - expanding of the travel agency”, is focused on the preparation of a business plan, according to which it will be possible in the future to extend already functioning travel agency another business subject. In the theoretical part, on the basis of the available professional literature, the concepts concerning business, business plan and travel agency are outlined. In the analytical part, analyses are analysed which analyse the internal and external environment of the company and help in the design part. The design part consists of comprehensive steps, procedures and methods of a particular business plan for the expansion of the real travel agency.

Resume The aim of this thesis is to analyse the essential elements of a travel contract according to current legislation and to analyse the rights that a customer is entitled to. The thesis includes not just a comparison between previous legislation and that currently in effect - in some places it also offers a peek at the differences between current legislation and the Directive (EU) 2015/2302 of the European Parliament and of the Council, which is to be transposed into the legal order of the Czech republic by July 1st 2017. The thesis can be divided into four main parts: The first part is an analysis of the essential elements of a travel contract, which are as follows: 1. tour - a pre-prepared package of services related to tourism; this part includes a definition of services this pre-prepared package comprises of, as demonstrated on current case law. The creation of a holiday package to the Austrian state Carinthia

The aim of this thesis is to create a unique incentive trip to Austria, according to the demand of the client. It is well-known insurance company which wishes to create a holiday package for their agents. It is made according to the technique of the travel agent Traveller. First, all the requirements are consulted and the group of the clients is characterized. Then the destination and accommodation facility are chosen. Also the optional tours in the surrounding area and the programme for the group with partial itinerary are included. After that the calculation is accomplished. In the last chapter, this tour is compared with the competitors in the market. The benefit of this work is to create a special incentive trip with a complete program for insurance agents into a very popular tourist area.
Specifics of outdoor-oriented travel agencies in the Czech Republic

The work summarizes the specifics of travel agencies Kudrna, Adventura and Livingstone, which focus on active holidays and outdoor tours. The number of so-called Outdoor-oriented travel agencies in the Czech market are nowadays increasing and a more detailed description of their activities is therefore very interesting. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate and to analyze a typical outdoor tour from the point of view of the mentioned travel agencies. Personal structured interviews with representatives of mentioned travel agencies were used as a research method. The conclusion of the work summarizes the author's suggested proposal of a typical outdoor tour to Kyrgyzstan, including detailed itinerary and pricing for the entire trip.
Older Adults Excoursion Tour as a Specific Form of Education

This bachelor thesis focuses on the (sightseeing) tour for older adults as the specific form of education. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the introductory chapter the main theme of this thesis is set into the context of demographical ageing and silver economy. Following two chapters focus on the specifics of older adults that are important for participation on tour for older adults. Simultaneously these chapters are focused on educational aspect to subsume the sightseeing tour into forms of adult education. Another part presents the specifics of the sightseeing tour for older adults in accordance with senior tourism. It is followed by analysis of the tour for older adults which are offered by travel agencies in the Czech Republic, which verifies a validity of theoretical knowledge about specifics of older adults presented in previous chapters. Use of model ecosystems near Chomutov in basic education

This paper focuses on the teaching of eco-tour by cyclo around Chomutov in basic education. The main objective of my DP is a cycling tour with a focus on the comparison of selected characteristics of ecosystems occurring in the area. As I chose the selected ecosystems - meadows and pastures, forests and water bodies. Selected location near Chomutov offers direct observation of these ecosystems provide a number of paths for nontraditional ways of teaching, using bicycle wheels. Developed materials include design incentive hours for after-school teaching materials in the field and the draft final hours. For after-school education in the field are handled by individual worksheets ecosystems - meadows and pastures, forests and water bodies. Besides these main worksheets, I created a set of other activities in the outdoors. They are practicing first aid package of games and competitions designed for environments and other attractions that can fill the time spent in nature. Next, I created a complete methodological guide for teachers, which are summarized in detail all the information for planning, progress and completion of the excursion. The aim of this project is to propose and implement the information system of the products and services of the travel agencies. The system includes information about the travel agencies, resorts and particular package tours. The inseparable part of the system is the administration of travel agencies presentations. The goal of the system is to help an ordinary visitor choose from the offers easily according to his or her requirements. As the implementation environment was chosen traditional combination of languages PHP, HTML and relational database system MySQL.
