Influence of ex-user's experience on therapeutic work with clients in addiction treatment: a qualitative study

In this thesis I deal with the influence of personal lived experience of ex-users on their therapeutic work with the clients in addiction treatment. The personal experience in this case is meant an experience with the substance abuse or playing on the slot machines which led to addiction. For this work it is also important the personal experience of following treatment of addictive behavior by ex-uers themself. In the theoretical part I address the former career of ex-user in addiction services, the role of ex-user in the therapeutic team, the motivation of ex-user to work with addicted clients, but also the opportunities of his education and anchoring the work of ex-user in the Standards of services for drug users and pathological players. As the goal of the practical part I set myself to describe how the ex-user's own experiences with addiction and its treatment participate when working with clients. Besides this main objective I am also dealing with ex-user's motivation for his work, the potential risks, the impact of education on the work of ex-users and also the relationship between ex- user and his colleagues. Ex-Users: The benefits and the hazards of working with drug addicts

This bachelor thesis is devoted to ex-users, who after a successful recovery from drug addiction started to devote their time working in organizations that help drug addicts. In the theoretical part, I start to explain the basic overview of the addiction. This includes the type of drugs used, how they are administered and the effects they have on individuals. I also chart the different options available in the treatment of drug addiction. The larger part of the thesis delves into the therapeutic treatments available and places particular emphasis on treatment in therapeutic community as well as what are the expected qualities of the therapist. I have collated a lot of informations from different experts in their field on the effects of the addition on drug addicts. The research part of the thesis is based on interviews with ex-users who work with drug addicts. It looks to ascertain what the benefits are and the risks involved in working with drug addicted clients. The research also looks to find what motivates an ex-users to work with addicted clients, how they view their own addiction and if any lessons are being learned from their encounters. Social work with people with mental illness

The thesis draws attention to the mentally disordered healthcare with the diagnosis of schizophrenia. It describes basic social services, with a focus on legislation and social workers' competencies and code of ethics. It deals with the methods of social services regarding schizophrenic patients. It defines the reasons for inception of schizophrenia and possibilities for patients' reintegration into the society. It deals with the concept of schizophrenia, examines the types of schizophrenia and possible treatments. In addition, it points out the importance of social workers involvement while working with mentally disordered people. Due to the fact that schizophrenia is a serious mental disorder, I decided to work as an intern in the therapeutic community Mýto. Based on my experience, I attempted a deeper analysis of this therapeutic residence.
Possibilities of using therapies for children with combined disabilities during preschool age

The diploma thesis considers possibilities of using therapies for preschool children with multiple disabilities in special nursery schools and in common nurseries with special classes. Provides an overview of therapies which mostly occur in schools. Based on the theoretical knowledge about single therapies identifies, how are integrated into the educational process in kindergartens. The analysis of the questionnaire survey highlights the shortcomings, that were the basis for a proposal to streamline therapies in these facilities.

The purpose of my dissertation is to analyze and further elaborate upon its main topic: the questions that are of a mutual deep interest to both medicine and philosophy. The dissertation has three parts. In the first part, I will introduce some of the key terms that will be used throughout the text. The second part, central to my work, is concerned with three possibilities that are offered to us - play and playing, dream and dreaming, poetic being - all become the places where comprehending, listening (to both the speech and the silence) and responding materialize. The work focuses on the emergence of therapeutic communities for drug addicts in the Czech Republic. Describes the history of addiction treatment in 1989 and subsequently the emerging system of care for drug addicts in 1989. It charts the evolution of the concept of therapeutic community and using the oral history brings experience and individual stories of each of the founders of therapeutic communities.
Non-compliance of the Patient in Surgery Rehabilitation

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the phenomenon of non-compliance (patient and healthcare provider services) in public rehabilitation surgery, with private physiotherapist and in special lymfocentre surgery using questionnaire. The theoretical part deals with the issue of non-compliance and explains the terms associated with it, describes the kind of rehabilitation, physiotherapy and mention epidemiological data. The result of practical part is the evaluation questionnaire and testing hypotheses.
Musicotherapy in elderly people

This bachelor thesis investigates the influence and the effect of musicotherapy treatment method in the elderly. Method was used at the St. Anežka?s retirement home in Velký Újezd and also at the Retirement home in Budíškovice. The aim of this thesis is to find out if seniors utilise this method and in which form is it realized. The theoretical part is devoted to the forms, directions and types of the therapy and to the seniors themselves, their roles, needs and adaptations. Furthermore senior facilities, therapists and their profession are described in the theoretical part. The practical part consists of respondent case reports which were obtained by standardized personal interviews. The results are compared with data from available literature.
Ethic elements of psychotherapy as one of tools of social work

My diploma work is theoretical. It consists of four chapters. First chapter deals with the area of social work, its goals and paradigms. Furthermore, it deals with the relationship of social work and other disciplines and theories relevant to social work. Second chapter is devoted to psychotherapy and its determination, to psychotherapy in the history of human thinking and also to goals. Third chapter examines the therapeutic relationship from the perspectives of major therapeutic doctrines. The last chapter deals with ethics, the code of ethics and ethics in the psychotherapeutic relationship. In the second half of this chapter are described more important concepts that are closely linked to both - ethics and psychotherapy.
