Reclaiming traditions
Drevenáková, Natália ; Tamásová, Alexandra (referee) ; Klodová, Lenka (advisor)
The "Reclaiming Traditions" project is a comprehensive artistic endeavor that deals with the reinterpretation of Slovak tradition and its cultural elements, specifically the tradition of May 1st - Building the Maypole. This need arises from the personal experience of the author as a queer individual growing up in Slovakia, where queer beings do not have their legitimate place in public space. This transformation takes place within the realms of feminism, ecofeminism, and queer ecology. A part of the project involves the creation of monuments in public spaces, symbolizing a new approach to non-binary perception of nature and the importance of participation. The project evolves through several phases, from the creation of sculptural objects, tapestries, and outdoor installations to happenings. Each phase includes textile linen waste produced by the author during clothing design. This waste is utilized in various project phases (tapestries, hammocks, recycled residues in soil) and in the final thesis phase, as recycled yarn from recycled remnants of linen and wool for crocheting punching bags, representing circlusion. The inspiration for formal transformation is the neologism "CIRCLUSION" coined by German feminist and political writer Bini Adamczak, which is a female act against the male act of penetration. Circlusion (encirclement) denotes active surrounding. The project also reflects on questions of gender, sexual dominance, and ecological responsibility in the context of art in public space and community.

Volume of mediatheque steps up the row and shows the new direction of our culture and media.
Mat roll cutter
Šrámek, Michal ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Foller, Bronislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the construction of a textile machine. More specifically, it deals with the construction of a vertical cutter of non-vowen fabrics that are made of polymerous fibres or fibre glass. The surface density of the material used ranges from 100 – 500 g/m2, the width of a role is 2000 mm and the weight is 150 kg. The machine is supposed to be designed in such a way so that the mat roles could be cut in any point.
Network for high-frequency on-body communication
Halas, David ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kokolia, Martin (advisor)
This work focuses on the design of a network for high-frequency communication on the human body. The thesis is focused on the design of two-band antennas, namely 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz. The antenna is integrated into the textile and works close to the human body. The introduction describes the problem of spreading electromagnetic waves along the human body. Further, the thesis deals with the applicability of different types of antennas for integration on the textile substrate. Based on the simulations performed, a suitable antenna is selected for the purpose. The simulation program used is the CST Microwave Studio. In the end, the antennas were optimized, subsequently manufactured and their parameters measured.
Physical Simulation of a Cloth
Vavro, Ondrej ; Seeman, Michal (referee) ; Navrátil, Jan (advisor)
Thesis covers problematics of simulating cloth(textile) behaviour under different conditions. It explains basic principles used in construction of cloth computer model, describes inner and outer forces that act on cloth and shows different integration methods that forward simulation in time from the view of suitability and speed when used on cloth simulation. Work also includes description of implementation of a demo application in which is part of these problematics tested.
love rhymes with fuck you
Bražina, Jan ; Pěchouček, Michal (referee) ; Mazanec, Martin (advisor)
In my work I materialize personal experiences, memories and ideas about future life. In relation to these, I also address the heteronormativity of relationships dictated by society to young people. In my work I deal with these themes through intuitive work with textiles, where I try to express through this material my feelings, in which I tend to a domestic and peaceful background. Over the past year I have begun a project that originally titled Hydroponic Love, in which I dealt with my own failures in relationships and building a bond with inanimate objects in order to satisfy my desire for love. Through this stage I gradually developed my theme and elaborated on the idea of love that ...that can develop into a dangerous obsession. The project eventually expanded into four parts, in in which I developed several sub-themes that no longer focused on my personal desires and failures, but also the broader social context related to them.
Methodology of cleaning paper, textiles and collagen materials using thr two-phase spray of CO2 snow particles in the carrier gas stream

Methodology of removing dust particles from the surface of paper, collagen materials and textiles using the TEA CO2 laser
