Methods of measurement of intelligence in adult subjects

In my work I focus on intelligence testing in adult subjects. The work aims to introduce to the readers six intelligence tests that might be administered both individually and in a group. Besides intelligence tests measuring complex intelligence abilities I would like to mention also a partial test measuring nonverbal abilities. Characteristics, structure and description of tasks will be specified for each test as well as psychometric properties and usage. Advantages and disadvantages of each test will be evaluated in the end. Where possible, I present also the usage of each test in the Czech Republic or in Europe.

Certified technological procedure of laboratory tests of acaricidal compounds against stored product mites

The certified technological procedure was developed in order to support Czech national legislation - Act No. 258/2000. The procedure is aimed at the protection of stored plant substrates against infestation of mites (Acari: Astigmata). The procedure includes two tested methods (i) impregnated filter paper test and (ii) population growth tests. The procedure includes novel findings describing the discrimination doses of acaricidal compounds to the mites. The doses are useful for identification of resistance. The described methods enable the comparison of efficacy of different acaricidal compounds as well as the comparison of toxic effect to various populations of mites.

Comparison of Implementation Strategies of the DFA

This bachelor thesis focuses upon the choices of methods, which are used to store automata on FPGA. There have been chosen these methods: bit-split, compress method and hash table. Then there are being compared the sizes of used memory, which are taken by automata in representation of these methods. The importaint part of this work is testing many kinds of samples. After the results have been achieved, I was able to examine the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Finally the analysis reveals which of the chosen methods is the best to store the automata on FPGA.

Automatic Generation of the Tests from High School Physics

Hints for Inorganic Chemistry Tests E-learning Study Materials Processing

E-learning is an educational way which uses multimedia and communication technologies for making, transferring and offering materials for studying. The aim of this bachelor thesis is making educational materials using the form of hints for inorganic chemistry tests. The first year students come into the contact with these tests compulsorily in the Inorganic chemistry laboratories II on Faculty of chemistry of Brno University of technology. The thesis contains six parts. First five parts are set to general view of e-learning and last sixth part obtains chosen hints for inorganic chemistry tests. Next hints are appended on CD for its considerable size (cca 600 hints).

Bachelor work deals with Genetics with a view to hereditary disorder at domestic cats. There are described only some disorders that they have the most often occurrence, and are very important. The cats are divided according to age category, sex and genotype depending on occurrence these abnormalities. It is also referred about traits and next health disorders that are caused by mutation. There are briefly described the evolution and domestication of cats. It put bigger and emphatic attention on genome at these animals. Further, there are hold on genetics tests, by which we can determine, according to DNA variability, the predispositions for malfunctions and disorders in cats. The work starts from special articles and their results from study researches.
