Psychological aspects of games in teambuilding

This thesis is focused on topic of games used in teambuilding while presenting knowledge from theory and proposal of effectiveness verification in practice. The theoretical part is devoted to defining teambuilding and method of games and further analyzes psychological aspects involved in the process. The psychological aspects are categorized chronologically in three phases - psychological aspects entering the process before its beginning (team composition, motivation and expectation of team members), psychological aspects occurring during the teambuilding (the role of lecturer, atmosphere of psychological safety, debriefing etc.) and finally psychological aspects, which could be observed after teambuilding (effectiveness, possibilities and limits). The project of research deals with verification of teambuilding program effectiveness in the area of proclaimed objectives. I decided to compare two forms of teambuilding - with or without debriefing because of opinion of some experts that debriefing is a key component which distinguish effective and ineffective teambuilding.

The next section examines phases of development work helpline Kladno from the beginning to the present. It also deals with life in the team, including motivation to work on the line of trust. An important part of the work is to look at problems in the workplace and what enhances the workplace

(in English) Bachelor thesis writes about conflict as a normal and natural part of a workplace. It discusses the conflicts in the workplace and in a human life as a helpful factor of changes, but also a source of dissatisfactions, depressions, despair in case of being unsolved. Thesis describes conflict division styles, conflict resolution styles and personal assumptions of conflict perception. In the work teams part I am writing about differences between work team and work group, then I am describing division of teams and I am presenting several developmental theories. Thesis also follows up socio- psychlogical aspects of team membership and team work. It focuses also on team relations mapping. Other element of thesis is a description of symmetrical and asymmetrical communication. Identification of relationship between communication style and conflict presence is a subject of experiment proposal.
Teambuilding

This bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of teambuilding. The paper is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first half of the theoretical part describes process of team development, team roles, advantages and disadvantages of teamwork. For this part I gathered information from the Tuckman model of team development, Belbin's team roles and team roles theory of Margerison and McCann. The second part contains description of teambuilding and also its advantages and disadvantages. The purpose of the practical part is proposition of teambuilding for selected company. On the basis of the results of questionnaires I prepared optimal teambuilding that I described in the end of the practical part.
Multicultural team management in DHL Information Services (Europe) s.r.o.

The goal of the master thesis is to determine possibilities of improving of management of multicultural teams in the Service Desk department in DHL Information Services (Europe) s. r. o. The teoretical part of the thesis involves concepts of team, team development, team management practices and team communication. The practical part of the thesis focuses on verification of hypotheses through structured interviews with manager of multicultural teams in the department of Service Desk and with particular team leaders.
Formation and management of the teams in a company

In the analytical part of my bachelor graduation paper readers are imprinted with the theory of team cooperation and they are focused on basic topics, which could not marginalized in this process of building of this way of cooperation. Synthesis part of this bachelor paper uses the knowledge from the analytical part to show to the readers, mainly company top management, basic information for decision making in the process of "Formation and management of the teams in a company" from two points of view: 1. external point of view - the human resources as a "building stone" of formation and management of the teams, 2. internal point of view - the human resources and existing corporate culture. My own suggestions and recommendations how to improve current situation are at the close of my paper. They are based on the information from both parts of this paper and they are supported by my knowledge of corporate culture.
Software team development and its support by Microsoft Team Foundation Server

The work objective is review usability of specific ALM system for team software development. Work is structured into four parts. In first part I will clarify the principles of team development. In second part I will compare CASE tools and ALM systems in aspect of team development and then define functionality which ALM system have to provide to development team. In next part is introduced ALM system from Microsoft -- Visual Studio Team System. In final part I describe and rate a functionality of this system. Rating itself is based on comparing the actual functionality of the specific system with functionality defined in second part.
