There are seven criteria, simplicity and clarity of user interface, suitable design, implementation of touch, implementation of multimedia, presence on social media and personalization of content. Theoretical part also introduces chosen magazines and media market in their countries. Practical part aims to discover how the magazines follow recommended methods in tablet journalism. Whereas in foreign countries tablets are used in occupational therapy in many means, in the Czech Republic their use is still minimal. The theoretical part contains a summary about this area. The application Cognitive, which is currently being developed, might help change the situation in the Czech Republic. Cognitive application contains two games, one for memory and the other one for attention. Is this application usable in occupational therapist's practice, though? Within the practical part, a study has been created, that found out the usability of new application Cognitive in practice with six patients after stroke. Occupational therapist trained memory and attention with them for 3 weeks, every weekday, each for 30 minutes. Data was processed in a form of a case study and using statistical methods. The use of mobile devices during the instruction at lower secondary school
DITRYCH, Miroslav
Although the bachelor thesis was originally intended to deal with the use of tablets in primary schools, after the pre-research, it was amended to address the use of tablets in secondary schools. The pre-research has shown that tablets in primary schools are rarely used, so it would not be possible to collect sufficient data to create a scientific work. Therefore, i could not make any relevant statistical conclusions, so i focused my research on secondary school. The work was conducted using a multiple case study based on semi-structured in-depth interviews. The interviews were then thoroughly analysed. Interviewed students enjoy learning with tablets, they find them more entertaining, individualized and faster. Teachers find the use of tablets beneficial and useful. There are used many types of applications for teaching with tablets in secondary schools, for example application for quiz repetition, application replacing atlas or periodic table of elements, mathematical applications and applications in which we can find electronic versions of textbooks. There were also identified problems in schools using tablets for teaching, these problems are the insufficient Wi-Fi connection, students violating the set rules, and decreasing performance of mobile devices because of their age.
