Amplifier for subwoofer with output power 100 W

This project is focused on design of the power amplifier for subwoofer, its circuit’s protection, speaker’s protection and design of the filter for subwoofer. The amplifier is operating in AB class and its power is up to 100 W/ 4 ohms. It is made of discrete electronics components and devices. The protections of the amplifier are against short circuit in output, the speaker pops when turned on and against the DC voltage at the amplifier’s output. Filter for subwoofer contains combiner at the input, volume control, subsonic filter, low-pass filter with adjustable cut-off frequency and output amplifier with possibility of phase changing of the output signal.
Design and construction of subwoofer - low frequency loudspeaker unit

This semestral thesis deals with the design and construction of deep-tone sound units –subwoofers and their use. There are listed descriptions of the individual types of sound systems, the possibilities of connecting the speakers with respect to the changes of the parameters speaker system, and then the design of the baffle with respect to the available materials. Moreover, the disassembled of VUE LMA hybrid solution is described. There are the mathematical relations for calculating the baffle parameters, furthermore there are also available basic programs for the design of the baffles. The purpose of this thesis is to get closer to the problem and to demonstrate the work with the simulation programs, a bandpass filter.
Design and realization of an active subwoofer

This bachelor thesis describes the design and construction of a one-channel amplifier 200 W into 8 load for an active subwoofer. The design consists of an active correction preamplifier and output stage. Preamplifier is created of integrated operational amplifiers and is controlled by two potentiometers, input switch and phase switch. Output stage is created of integrated circuits LM3886T by Texas Instruments. Both stages were constructed on PCBs and were measured their parameters.

The main aim of my bachelor´s thesis is to find new approaches and new ergonomic, technical and esthetic solutions which satisfy the latest requirements for domestic devices of today. The result should be a design that is modern in appearance and technology should also show a new direction for the design of home theater could take. Another aim is also to fulfill psychological and social function and in order to appeal more to the public and suspended to its beauty.

The topic of my bachelor’s thesis is a system of loudspeakers for personal computer. The purpose is to design original conception of the product with the assumption to create unique solution. This thesis includes close report about solution of my design, 3D digital model and visualizations and a model of loudspeakers system scaled 1:1.
Subwoofer for PA applications

The content of the bachelor´s thesis is theoretical knowledge in the field of loudspeaker baffles, their construction and design of the subwoofer according to the assignment. The work describes various types of used loudspeaker baffles. Their properties are defined for each of them. Some of the simulation programs are used for proper design. A suitable speaker is selected for the subwoofer application in PA technology. The parameters of the selected loudspeaker are verified by measurement. Based on these parameters, the design of the selected loudspeaker is calculated. Furthermore, the thesis addresses deals with the complete design process of the baffle for the selected speaker and its subsequent construction. After the construction, the port is tuned to the selected parameters. The resulting parameters of the designed subwoofer are verified by measuring the amplitude and frequency characteristics.
Automotive audio amplifier and subwoofer

This thesis deals with the project of two performance amplifiers for a subwoofer and for four basic car loud-speakers. The following part of the thesis is dealing with the power circuits of the amplifiers. The control of the amplifiers is realized by processor. The thesis is also dealing with the problems caused by sound system installation in a car, and concerns mainly with the boosters position and with producing high quality subwoofer and baffle-board.
