Psychic deprivation and subdeprivation of children as an educational challenge

The goal of this thesis is to understand the experience of those educators who had the opportunity to interact with deprived children with the help of narrative research. Specifically, the thesis is focused on people providing foster care. The theoretical part of the thesis presents basic psychological constructs that help shed light on the issue of deprivation syndrome. The thesis uses qualitative tools in the practical part to research the mentioned phenomenon.
Deprival Syndrome of Children, its Interpretation and Possibilities of Reparation in School Environment and Institutional Care

This bachelor thesis aims to describe the basic characteristics and problems related to deprivation syndrome in children, provide educators the information needed for effective orientation in the area, to recognize deprivation syndrome, emphasize the importance of relationships that go beyond the educational environment and have a societal character and offer tools and mechanisms that lead to effective prevention and possible remedial syndrome. The work is divided into two main sections. The first part defines the basic terms and conditions of deprivation syndrome formation and its symptoms. It refers to the characteristics of resource deprivation syndrome and how it translates into behavior syndrome children. The second part focuses on possibility of prevention and remediation deprivation syndrome. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the interconnectedness of life and many areas of society. Also important is the influence of family coherence and teaching staff to optimize prevention and correction.

Annotation: The thesis name The children from orphanages and their integration into the class group is focused on taking the role of student by children from orphanages. The thesis is divided into a theoretical, methodological and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to family, school roles and long-term researches of Matějček and Langmeier on the psychological deprivation and sub-deprivation. The methodology section contains objectives of the thesis and structure of the research project. The practical part examined differences in the conception of the role of pupil children from orphanages and children from family care using observational, questionnaire and socio-metric method and verifies that the monitored pupils from the orphanage have difficulties with social integration into the class group. Subdeprivation and its consequences for a school development of the child

This work will focus on the topic of influence of subdeprivation on the school development of a child. Subdeprivation is a serious problem for today's society and often has far-reaching consequences for development of a child. In my work I will try to describe the issue of subdeprivation and I will try to express its forms. The theoretical part will be based on the research of prof. Matějček who dealt with this matter. Two groups of children will be examined in the practical part - an experimental group composed of children from children's home and a control group that will be composed, for example, of the same age. These groups will be monitored for socialization, health and school results. These observations will be processed, evaluated and their results will be documented with tables in the practical part.
Psychological aspects of preschool child deprivation and subdeprivation

The bachelor thesis deals with deprivation and subdeprivation of preschool children. It defines both terms, describes external conditions which can cause deprivation, internal conditions which involve the final effect of deprivation situation and basic mental child needs. It also deals with subdeprivation situations which can occur, describes the each development period of preschool age with emphasize on deprivation and subdeprivation and describes the change of attitude to deprivation in 20th century. In this context attention is paid to institutional care and partial collective care. The conclusion of theoretical part of thesis is focused on the most present subdeprivation situations of today's and on the consequences of psychological deprivation and subdeprivation. The plan of research project is part of this bachelor thesis.

Manifestations of early deprivation among children in foster care

This of deprivation in foster children. It observes the symptoms of deprivation and subdeprivation in childrens'personalities and their development in the course of ten years of foster care. The theoretical part presents attachment theory and the importance of a certain attachment to the caring person, together withthe general manifestations of deprivation and subdeprivation. It explains the specifics of substitute family care, focusing on foster care, and also mentions the work of institutions cooperating with foster families. The empirical part carried out by the autobiographical design as a research method presents my personal experience with bachelor thesis deals with early manifestations raising two boys in foster care. The observations show various manifestations of deprivation and also the difficulty and time demand of their treatment. Close and mutual cooperation between the foster family and schools and institutions (such as Středz.ú., a SVP) is seen as a significant positive influence. Therefore, this thesis also includes the perspective of these involved parties and, moreover, a graphic illustration of the frequency of the individual manifestations throughout time.
Educational influence of anxiety and fear in preschool children

This work addresses the educational influence of anxienty and fear. It is aimed at pre- school age child. The aim of this work is to deal with the problem of anxienty and fear and aid to prevent these situations. Selected problem I solved using the scientific literature. The work drawn up important facts about anxiety and fear, which should be known to the public, and mainly consisted of parents and guardians. Based on the findings of psychological data, we are able to help children who are overly anxious.
