Reliability analysis of thin-walled cylindrical tanks for crude oil storage
Serbousková, Kateřina ; Valeš, Jan (referee) ; Kala, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the reliability of rotationally symmetric thin-walled cylindric tank for crude oil storage. The general form, membrane state, and balance equation of rotationally symmetric shell is described in the first part of the bachelor thesis. The second part of this bachelor thesis describes the probabilistic analysis of reliability of the tank by using Cornell's index of reliability. At the end the model of tank was created in ANSYS software, which indicates processes of stresses and deformations of the particular load.
Industrial Building - Review of Selected Reinforced Concrete Parts
Weber, Jozef ; Zlámal, Martin (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with reinforced concrete floor structure. It is a 3D frame, which is composed of bar elements oriented in the longitudinal and transverse direction. The work is done calculating mean longitudinal beam and also the middle of the cross beam. Furthermore, the calculated floor structure, which operates in both directions. For the calculation of inner strength used computer program SCIA ENGINEER 2013.0, which operates on the Finite Element Method - FEM. All elements have been designed for ultimate and serviceability limit state. Work contains textual part, inner strength, static calculations, drawings and used documents.
Design of the engineering structure
Svoboda, Adam ; Volf, Marek (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with design issues of industrial buildings and is focused especially on design and assessment of short corbels. The first part of the thesis consists of a translation of technical text published by prof. J. Schlaich (E DIN 1045-1). In the second part of the thesis is the gained knowledge applied on assessment of existing industrial structure SUAS a.s. in Vřesová. For the analysis of short corbels is used the strut-and-tie model and the method of limitation of concrete compressive stress at the nodes of the strut-and-tie model. The thesis concludes with structural strengthening of nonconforming short corbels by using prestressed cables to ensure safe operation of the crane runway.
Steel structure of training tennis hall
Vlček, Radek ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The content of the bachelor thesis is a proposal and evaluation of a steel load-bearing structure of a rectangular tennis hall with a floor space of 40x63 m. The building is situated outside the urban area near the Moravičany municipality. The hall consists of 11 cross-links spaced by 6.3 m. The main load-bearing system consists of spatial arched trusses, purlins and lateral bracing that support the spatial rigidity of the construction. The calculations were made in compliance with the Czech technical norms ČSN EN.
Multipurpose barnbuilding
Janírek, Karel ; Bukovská, Pavla (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The content of the bachelor thesis is a proposal and evaluation of the timber construction of multipurpose barnbuilding. It is used for breeding and presentation of animals, especially horses. The building is situated outside the urban area near the Jeseník municipality. Plan dimensions of the hall are 25,0 x 44,0 m. Height is 12,5 m. It is a curved construction of glued laminated timber. The hall is made of 12 cross – binding – triple joint arches in the shape of circle. Individual cross – binding are distanced 4,0 m. The stability of the whole construction is toughened by 3 areas of bracing. Plan dimensions of the stable are 7,0 x 64,0 m. Height is 4,515 m. Construction of the stable consist set of 17 frames of glued laminated timber, distanced 4,0 m. The stability of the whole construction is toughened by 2 areas of bracing. The calculations were made in compliance with the Czech technical norms ČSN EN.
Static analysis of the collapse of the supporting wall of the castle Špilberk
Malý, David ; Gratza, Roman (referee) ; Kytýr, Jiří (advisor)
The study deals with already collapsed part of retaining wall at the Špilberk Castle. The goal is to analyze malfunction and collapse of the retaining wall and make a calculation according to the corresponding standards. Numerical patterns of the wall structure were solved by the ANSYS program systém.
Calculation of Cieling Construct Loading Capacity of by ANSYS Program.
Obršlík, Petr ; Keršnšr,, Zbyněk (referee) ; Křiváková, Jarmila (advisor)
The central part is the creation of a finite element model of the specified ceiling construct by using calculating program ANSYS and assessment of stress and displacement in the limit normative values. To verify the accuracy of the results is applied manual static calculation of stress and deflection carrying structure elements using the Clapeyron’s method and Mohr’s analogy for the calculation of deflection.
Lifestyle of a poker player
Jech, Jakub ; Franková, Emilie (advisor) ; Pauknerová, Daniela (referee)
This thesis is devoted to one of the most popular card games: poker. The goal is to analyze lifestyle of a poker player. The theoretical part is focused on the most widespread variant of poker: Texas NL Holden. I also searched for connections between card games in general and gambling. Then there are provided some basis of lifestyle and related fields. Practical part is mostly about depth interviews with active and former czech poker players.
Effects of Stress on Performance in the Workplace
Hroníková, Eliška ; Hiršová, Miloslava (advisor) ; Míková, Irena (referee)
This Bachelor's thesis is focused on the effects of stress on the productivity of employees. The goal is to find out what type of stress and how much influence it has on workers, how it effects their work behavior and their productivity. The basis for putting together the research were the stressor selected from publications from the authors featured in the theoretical part and adapted to the situation in the organization. Partial goals are to determine what impact the stressors have on mental well-being. Examined are both, the negative and positive effects of stressors. Proposed recommendations which could help the management of organization to prevent negative influences or their complete elimination are based on theoretical knowledge and discovered results.
Employees Required a Special Care
ŠKODOVÁ, Adéla
Nowadays, a stress is an everyday part of our life. However there are two groups of people more inclinable to stress situations like for example soldiers, policemen, graduates or managers. This work is focused on woman-managers which struggle with an increased mental and emotional burden. These women are burdened with more responsibilities then men because they must standing act the role of a mother, a caretaker or specialist in her profession. In the theoretical part we will be acquainted with basic terms in management, psychology and primarily with gender problematic. The practical part is based on a guided interviews with ten woman-managers from different divisions in selected companies and next on the questionnare. Data are evaluated by diagrams and then there are suggested appropriate recommendations to woman-managers.
